That part where mom said that this guitar is out of tune, in some part it is, if you say so. So, the main thing about this guitar that its in 432 hz, like all "17" album, even his vocals. X said that he was using 432 hz instead of normal 440 hz because its brings medatative state to a listener and to his music, he said with some frequencies he could bring listener to sleep. Sorry for my bad english, i hope you understand.

I think your moms right the guitar has a upbeat bounce to it but it is out of tune or something which gives it an uncanny and eerie feeling. And i think the juxtaposition of him passing away makes the sadness/darkness of the song wayyy sadder. Its beautifully tragic
He did the guitar out of beat on purpose because the songs lyrics are deeper than on surface if you actually know about x’s past and the song is meant to be eerie.
