@@YSLSTEELE Corny is not what I'd call this album. This is a kid's childhood struggles recollected and recorded when he was 18-19, then dying at 20. You've grown up to be older than X ever got to be. He'll forever be the same age.
damn that’s deep im sorry bro, maybe ur dad would’ve been different but my dad only likes 80’s pop cus im in the UK and basically everyone his age only likes that music, he can’t understand songs that are deeper or aren’t all about dancing
holy shit man X is an absolute legend out of broward county, florida. i grew up not even 20 minutes away from him and saw his come up firsthand, so it is crazy to see people across the globe touched by his music. there's a track on his next album "?" that is dedicated to my high school, he was always for the next generation and the community. Long Live XXX
@@TwistTheScript "?" is such a great album, shame it was his final release before he passed, potential was incredible; can remember 14 yr old me being sat eating weetabix n stomach churning when the news said he'd been pronounced dead, before assuming he'd be alright once news broke him being hospitalised, really random memory but it sits with me
Before 17 he was making hardcore trap-like/rock influenced rap music but he was always making deeper/darker stuff that didn’t get enough recognition. He was always making different genres as an underground artist
This album saved my life. I cannot express that enough. Favourite artist of all time, to know someone as big as x could be going through similar issues really comforted me
Was 18 when this album released, I’m now 24. Loved it, and still do. Super cool to hear people’s opinions on it still after hearing it for the first time.
The main reason x made his songs short was literally to keep the listening wanting more those were pretty much his exact words and hearing you guys repeat that after years of him being gone gave me chills.
album came out my sophomore year of hs and i was so depressed and i probably listened to this album all the way through multiple times a day. never will forget this album
Thanks mate. Actually recorded this about 8 months ago. Just couldn’t get it on UA-cam for copyright reasons. Some reason tonight it worked 😂 Glad you liked it
A strong misconception about X is that people who listen to him are depressed, i’m 20 like ur lad is and from the UK and im as happy as they come honestly like i have a great outlook on life but this music is just so soothing when u have no energy or just wanna chill with something in the background to bob ur head to
Man I love this channel. Something about your guys’ reaction always feels really genuine and raw. Really hope you guys dive into more Sza, Juice Wrld, Don Toliver, and Flatbush Zombies. Keep up the bangers 🫡🫡💯
jocelyn flores was a song about a model that was working for his brand he had to fire for suspecting stealing, she later ended her life that night. 1:53
The main reason for the short songs are exactly what you said, they leave you wanting more. It was one of his many ways to create longevity for his music & career. Edit: I just scrolled down the comments after posting this and saw someone already said the same thing. Haha, but just goes to show.
To anyone that's followed us for a while wondering why we are talking about OLDER STUFF 🤣We recorded this video back in March/April 2024 but got blocked on copyright. Cheers Guys 👍
The length of the tracks being short is for 2 reasons, he doesn’t like repeating himself for the sake of it or adding an extra verse if he doesn’t feel he has anything to add to the track and the other reason is for replay ability, if they end quickly u want to play them on repeat which helps him financially lol so there’s also that
I know Jah himself and a lot of other people say that ? is better than 17, but in my opinion this album is his best and top 10 of all time. Great reaction as always
Loved this lads I appreciate your open mind and your appreciation for this album which is one of my personal all time favorite albums in my 22 years alive
He was one of the most versatile artists I’ve ever listened to, he has made rock and punk tunes as well would love for you to hear another album by him. songs I’d recommend TEETH YUNG BRATZ GUARDIAN ANGEL
I love your dad’s reaction can’t wait to see more of x’s songs I have 17 on my arm he helped me through a lot I was 17 pre diabetic at 266lb around a week before my 18th bd i decided to start running and did 3 5k’s every day listening to this album every run on repeat motivated me through emotion then he passed after he will always be a part of my life it sucks what you here now is everything you’ll get but it’s a amazing gift from a amazing artist taken too soon🥺🙏🏽
damn i just found this channel and seen all the albums ur reacting to are like my goat albums lol, i’ll be binging a few of them over the next few days
This album especially helped a lot of people out of a dark spot his music was almost a ray of hope for many people and we all happily followed him, i really do wish he was still with us 🖤🕊️
I absolutely love the fact that you don't milk an album that literally lasts 22 mins in to an hour an a half video like some people do. Will 100% be watching more content, keep it up lads
Absolutely loved this reaction. I really hope the next reaction is GoodBye & GoodRiddance by juice wrld… him & X have had the biggest impact on this newer generation imo. Just like X his music is also very sad, but I’d say even more sad & definitely much more blunt… but you can definitely see his talent from the singing, rapping, versatility of being able to fit in any genre, off the top freestyling almost every song, & he knew how to play 6 or 7 instruments. His posthumous debut album is the biggest posthumous debut ever. Rip.
Thank you 🙏 We actually recorded this video about 8 months ago. Got copyright banned. Some mad reason I tried it again tonight and it worked. Gives me hope now that a Juiceworld Vid or Lil Peep may get past copyright too. Thanks for the message and agree on what you said 👍👍
This is actually his debut album and imo the best album ever as far as meaningful music like this is probably the reason im still here today... when this dropped I was entering the darkest point in my life and this helped me so much💯💯💯 also x wasn't a rapper he was a full blown artist if every way possible 💯💯💯
i always knew there was something about this album that would resonate with British people, i observed this with rock reacts as well. I belive it's mainly because this style was inspired by the rock bands and artists in the UK, x listened to a lot of genres and it's really no suprise. if x lived long enough to tour in the UK he would've taken off bro
Theres some songs you should have a listen to which are my personal favourite : Vice city, SKIN(the song not the album), lets pretend were numb, snow, guardian angel. Also the Skins album is great also have some very very deep song in it. The song train food he basically predicts how he dies and quite alot of it is true. Also reccomened listening to members only album. Literally you will be in shock how much different it is.
Should definitely react to juice wrlds first album, very similar to X with versatility. Them 2 along with trippie redd were the pioneers of this genre and 2 of them are gone, have been for a while. Rip to 2 goats 😔
great reaction x is a legend, you should try “goodbye and good riddance” by juice wrld, another artist who blew up around the same time with a similar genre of sad songs, great selection of music with a similar eerie feel as he also died young at 21
Amazing album... so DIFFERENT, after "17" the run continiues with "?", idk which album is better but "?" for sure is more versatile and more experimental perfect for a reaction
Please react to The Life Of Pablo, I saw that u had copyright issues with that reaction video, I imagine it´s because of 30 Hours, but it´s one hell of an album and I´d love to see ur reaction guys! Love your videos keep it up!!❤
haha loved this boys.
Appreciated @CUFBOYS Thanks man. Keep up the good work yourself 👍👍
Great to see that u Cam are still watching X reactions its a weekly thing for me ❤

Your dad’s level of understanding of music and the feelings it portrays is commendable. He must be an amazing father
Before 17 he was making hardcore trap-like/rock influenced rap music but he was always making deeper/darker stuff that didn’t get enough recognition.
He was always making different genres as an underground artist
X was versatile asf.
He was never just a "rapper" he did all genres. Pop, rock, R&B or whatever & X had the ability to do that & a lot more. ❤💯
