I appreciate the Anakin guide. After his nerfs, I couldn’t really do that well with him even after experimenting with his cards. The damage stats I liked in particular. So now I know which abilities can one shot most trooper classes.

I’ve been running All of Them as my third star card recently, which increases damage of pull dominance on 2 or more enemies. Been very useful for me and seriously increased my kill streaks.
Release Anakin was ridicolous, but the aimbot Palpatine was very bad too. You could simply spawntrapp enemy players and kill them through the damn walls with chain lightning AND the normal attack

Honestly you’re better off boosting Dooku’s duelist ability! Max duration Max damage etc As well as the lightsaber blocking increase! His other abilities are very situational while Duelist will always be amazing
Dooku for me is increased lightning radius, Stamina drain reduction for block and swings, and finally the card that gives dooku bonus damage every 15 seconds. That last one can be changed with health regeneration or duelist.
Dooku doesn't have any bad Star Cards per say some are more useful than others but his Star Cards more augment the way you play rather than any one being necessary. I play Dooku because I want to win duels be it in HVV or GA/CS comfortably. So my set up I would say is a more high skill set up with Finesse, Masterful Duelist, and Initiative. That's for both CS/GA and HVV most of the time I'll instant regular troopers with my saber, 2 hit all trooper types with 400 or less health and all heroes but Anakin will likely be a 4 hit with my saber and I save Expose Weakness for Anakins because he's then a 4 hit even with his bonus health Star Card. I suggest you play the way you want to and that your skill affords. I've run Max damage Dooku where when played optimally he 2 hits Yoda and 3 hits everything else and while doable it's takes alot to make it work and is mostly ineffective.
3 years later or so and I JUST NOTICED that there are bots in this game. This game looks very alive when there are bots here and this is now getting me excited for BF 2042 since it'll always feel populated whether the game is dead or not

I'm glad you mentioned Anakin needing to be at a full stop to use his pull and Kylo having mobility in his pull. Showing how both characters compliment one another and it creates a balance between the two. I'm glad you're one of the very few that acknowledges that. I ran into some jackasses months back that complained how Anakin's pull was broken and needed a nerf just because of how you can land near his feet sometimes. No logical reason whatsoever. Just because of how it's designed. I even went as far as to compare Anakin and Kylo and their design to show that neither is broken. And how they can both dish out serious damage if used properly. You're a real mvp for analyzing this and coming to a logical conclusion in regards to Anakin.
my anakin is level 1000, let me tell you now, he does NOT need massive strikes, try using "All of them" to one shot troopers and "attraction" and "raw strength" i promise you 1 shotting troopers with a saber is not THAT good it takes .05 sec to swing again
i hope you see this, Massive strikes isnt THAT good, 1 shot pull with the range of kylos it is beyond broke, also raw strength and CHARGE heroic might all the way people do shoot you, control the force increases its BASE range not its MAX, so it still has the same AOE just takes longer

I just got this game. Should I not bother with massive strikes outside of trooper modes? I feel like the extra stamina cost is okay if im oneshotting a trooper instead of two shotting. For HvV it’s not worth it though right?
cowgomoo444 always use massive strikes all the time in trooper modes. It’s still very good in hero modes, it only reduces it by 25%. I don’t know why everyone says you shouldn’t use it in hero modes, it’s probably his best card still.
@@louismasiello8966 because in hero modes its wise to be tactical, not go spam swinging in and hope to kill someone before running out of stamina. And it's also a burden when you're trying to hold off 2 or more opponents, while getting out of a sticky situation. It's good in trooper modes, but in hero modes if you're trying to get a kill and not sit there blocking for 30 mins, you'll be a sitting duck pretty often
Man it feels bad hearing everyone talk about how even noobs could dominate with Anakin at release and yet I absolutely sucked with him lmao. I absolutely suck at saber to saber combat.
His abilities and him having the highest lightsaber damage was what made him busted as shit at launch, only hero that can hit you through blocks He had a combo that literally guaranteed him 6-700 damage.
Pro tip: Dominant pull>| Heroic might>| Passionate strike>| 1-2 Saber combo>| Back off quickly and then block, that combo can bring even the best darkside heroes to their knees
4:30 seem there was an unintentional troll, Anakin would never be playing against players buffed by Yoda or Finn, as he can't play against them at any time that I'm aware of. Perhaps that would be relevant if the dark side had any buffs.
The Star Card 'All of Them' I have also found to be incredibly useful as it gives you another AOE 1 shot ability with 170 pull damage on troopers and 130 against heroes if you hit at least 2 enemies with it. It is also insanely good on Co-Op. Anakin also has a pretty great dodge on top of everything else, very fluid.

I will say one thing. Retribution is useless. If you just put the damage card on Heroic Might, it's better. You can use it more frequently and you don't stand there like an idiot getting blasted after you use it. For being an ultimate move, it can't even kill reinforcements. If they just made it even harder to obtain and make it so whoever is in it can't be damaged by anything else and left it at 4 seconds, it'd be perfect. But no. It's useless and it looks/sounds lame. :(
He's pretty balanced now. Just wished they bump back his health to 1,000. Or at least 950. Most of the time I don't even use the extra health card unless I'm in HvV. G.A, and C.S. I just go for all damage cards like All of them, Raw strength, and the bonus saber damage.
Zorastorm 32 I mean you are right, he is in a better balanced spot but he has spammy/rag doll abilities that still kinda make him not necessarily OP, but annoying. That’s what makes Anakin less skillful. What they should is add a delay to them. After his pull, add a 3 second delay and when he pushes you, add a 3 second delay as well. That way Anakin players (including me) will have to use his abilities wisely and not button mash. Skill matters. You probably already know but I’m just saying. Now his pull and strike combo is pretty good. It isn’t OP or annoying. Well to me it isn’t. Only because passionate strike feels like a regular lightsaber hit. Also add a kick to one of his basic attacks. I think that would be a nice touch and make Anakin feel better. In my opinion. Now retribution on the other hand, and I know you might disagree with me which hey it’s all good, you’re opinion is valid but I really don’t care what they do with it. As much as I like that ability, it wouldn’t bother me if they removed it. Or at least give Vader a 4th ability. That way him and Anakin are pretty much equal since they are technically the same person lol. As far as his health, 900 is plenty. I mean if they did buff it to 950, I wouldn’t care. But I think if they made those changes to Anakin, he shouldn’t get anymore and he’ll be a lot better.

I disagree... the best trooper Star card setup is Raw Strength, Masive Strikes and All of Them. All of the will one shot all non buffed troopers except heavys. It’s just one mire way to one shot.

But retribution used to deal like 500 or 600 damage before the nerf. Now it still does like 300, which is still pretty good.
It’s also a fourth ability which no other heroes really has. Can’t really complain about that.

Most of the time I don't even use the extra health card unless I'm in HvV. G.A, and C.S. I just go for all damage cards like All of them, Raw strength, and the bonus saber damage.
Zorastorm 32 I mean you are right, he is in a better balanced spot but he has spammy/rag doll abilities that still kinda make him not necessarily OP, but annoying. That’s what makes Anakin less skillful. What they should is add a delay to them. After his pull, add a 3 second delay and when he pushes you, add a 3 second delay as well. That way Anakin players (including me) will have to use his abilities wisely and not button mash. Skill matters. You probably already know but I’m just saying. Now his pull and strike combo is pretty good. It isn’t OP or annoying. Well to me it isn’t. Only because passionate strike feels like a regular lightsaber hit. Also add a kick to one of his basic attacks. I think that would be a nice touch and make Anakin feel better. In my opinion. Now retribution on the other hand, and I know you might disagree with me which hey it’s all good, you’re opinion is valid but I really don’t care what they do with it. As much as I like that ability, it wouldn’t bother me if they removed it. Or at least give Vader a 4th ability. That way him and Anakin are pretty much equal since they are technically the same person lol. As far as his health, 900 is plenty. I mean if they did buff it to 950, I wouldn’t care. But I think if they made those changes to Anakin, he shouldn’t get anymore and he’ll be a lot better.

I disagree... the best trooper Star card setup is Raw Strength, Masive Strikes and All of Them. All of the will one shot all non buffed troopers except heavys. It’s just one mire way to one shot.
