Don’t jump with Vader. His slow fall leaves you so vulnerable to damage if your plying against people who hit headshots or for example a Finn with deadeye
PRO TIP: If you activate Focused Rage at the same time when you swing (L1, R1, R2 all at once) you'll activate the ability with an attack and you skip the idle 'hand grasp' animation.
2:51 vader can actually block during his lightsaber throw, for some reason, even though maul can't. i don't think i've ever taken damage from the front while using the ability, despite people swinging and shooting at me.
@@dekuscrub6576 i definitely don't think that was intentional, i think him being able to block during the throw is just a bug/oversight that they never fixed, especially since he doesn't do an animation to show that he's using his hand to block. but it's definitely a fun headcanon to explain it.
@@khybr I wouldn't be surprised if it was intentional. There's a good amount of detail from the canon that has been transferred over to the games. @@khybr I get your perspective, but the lack of an explanation could be solved easily by the addition of canon lore, Vader's armor was basically blaster resistant/slightly saber resistant though it'd obviously weaken over time and be damaged even more so with straight jabs like seen in fallen order, so shrug. But yeye! have a good night/day.
Technically Anakin has the most emotionally pined story, Vader was living it up no kizzy. For those who know percy jackson, it’s Like the Roman and Greek aspects of gods, or more simply, you with a snickers and you without a snickers
I personally chose Vader's deflection stamina card over his furious resilience. The damage reduction is great, but in the end focused rage does have a cooldown while Vader's stamina is much more of a vital asset when fighting large groups of people, or dueling experienced blaster heroes. The card extends Vader's deflection stamina by up to 25%, which when matched with his extra attack stamina from focused rage leaves you with one of the largest stamina pools in the game. This makes killing heroes like Leia, Lando, and spammy Lukes significantly easier as you can deflect their blaster bolts back at them, or parry their saber attacks, and by the time they realize they're low while you're still doing fine, they're one- or two-hit kills. I should also point out that Vader regenerates stamina extremely slow, so extending that stamina as much as possible gives you a huge advantage.
A few more advanced Vader tips I've learned from The Star Bazaar: 1) You can skip Focused Rage animation if you activate it during your lunge (not a normal swing, only lunge; to lunge you need to attack while sprinting, as far as I know). 2) Lightsaber Throw staggers enemies when it deals damage to them. Staggered enemies briefly cannot block. If you want to use Choke on a lightsaber enemy who is blocking and facing you, throw your saber at them: they will probably block the first hit, but when it comes to the second hit, they will have to either turn away from you to block it or just get hit by it, thus getting staggered. Either way they will be a moment when they are not able to block your Choke. Though timing this right is tricky. P.S. Sammy, you are showing There is no escape card instead of Surrounded by fear at 5:19, just a little heads up!
I miss playing him, I ALWAYS felt like an actual boss when I picked him and started killing everyone, I never got killed with him and he was always my favorite character in star wars in general so it was always an amazing time
Recommendation: In Heroes vs. Villain, I would suggest Han as being someone to be wary of when Vader. His detonite charge when exploded near enough has the ability to knock characters over, and with Vader's large hitbox and slow walking speed while blocking he's been particularly vulnerable to this trick, at least during my gameplay. Not to mention Han's Shoulder Charge can knock down when not blocking while also deal damage when blocking, but I digress. Just a small note I thought worthy of mentioning. Great video, looking forward to everything that's to come.
@@ExoticButters168 I don't really have an issue against parry spammers tbh, not to be cocky but I'm pretty damn good at getting behind my opponents in duels especially if I'm using Dooku or Rey. Plus it's easy to bait players to parry you only for you to parry them instead.

That dodge at 9:25 though, absolutely beautiful Always new your videos were constantly improving, but just seeing the quality in a video like this (compared to the previous one, which was still great) just really blows me away.
You can Pop focused rage without doing the animation where vader clenchs his fist, first you have to swing your lightsaber and press l1 r1 at the same time that's it.
Amazing video mate! I would add some combos or moves. For example, Choke+Lightsaber throw is a devastating combo. Anyway, the video is one the best that I have watched about bf2!
This is probably quite obvious to anyone who plays vader, but his choke and lightsaber throw combo really well together. The choke damages and drags the enemies closer together, which will then allow you to throw your saber at them and kill them all. Its a great combo that is fun to use against multiple enemies
Absolutely great hero guide Sammy!! Glad you’re getting into them again! Brings so much more interest to the game 🙂 Also, just noticed that the “there is no escape” star card came up when you were talking about the “surrounded by fear” one for the best star cards for GA + supremacy! 5:24 But that’s just my OCD haha 😂

Got my Vader to Max last week! A fun card I like to use in Hero modes is Intensified lightsaber throw with punishing grip and furious resilience. It’s a great card for finishing off low health players even easier!
Surrounded by fear is such a good star card when combined with deflection stamina, I can just deflect the blaster fire back into the enemy for such a long time without running out of stamina or health.

5:21 hey king, just wanted to let you know that you accidentally put the “There Is No Escape” card when you probably meant to put the “Surrounded By Fear” card. Great content btw.
Loved the video man, slick editing as well. I’d just maybe add Vader’s very iconic choke-saber-jumpslash combo and the a little bit harder choke-jumpslash-saber toss on the way down at the very end. Also Vader’s middle can be cast mid slash and while it will play the animation after the slash (most of the times, sometimes you can bypass it entirely), it still saved my hide mid battle more than once.

Also the choke ability is a little buggy, sometimes the ability will grab enemies off of the ground but then immediately let them go, so keep in mind with that. Great video bro👍. I was also wondering if you was doing the dueling tournament again this year.
Great video! I personally use Vader's surrounded by fear card instead of the ranged throw because now the throw no longer one hits so it's not as good. Plus with this card you eliminate vader's only weakness which is his stamina regen
Hope to see more of these guides! Just started playing recently and I love it
Thanks for continuing this series I love to see different gamers perspectives.
You are criminally underrated
I appreciate that man
Love this series please keep up the great work
nice content ! been loving this game recently
We really don't need a hero guide on the most op character in the game
No matter what hero youre playing understand you will find yourself in situations where you die almost instantly
Heroes are strong but none are invincible a good team of standard troopers WILL delete you faster than you can quit out the lobby
Don't need the guide, came here to like this awesome vid! Been watching them since the beginning 😎 go SammyBoiii!!!
My man 💛
I just got the game like a week ago and I gotta say Vader is my favorite part
