So few nice small scale RC helicopters on the market but this is the best we have come across. The detail on this heli is superb. Add to that it's onboard GPS with gives it some great done like capabilities so as return to home, loiter and one key landing. An FPV camera and video transmitter is also included which can put you in the pilot seat ! We'll be trying that in a future video. In addition to GPS there is an optical flow sensor under the heli which allows it to maintain a hover when flown inside.
IMPORTANT: One minor observation after filming. The foam wheels do come off their hubs VERY easily. To prevent losing them I strongly recommend you glue them in place with a little contact adhesive or epoxy.

This reminds me of flying USCG helicopters in Second Life. Im used to R/C marine glow engine boats and odd indoor helicopters. but at £590 on Amazon uk site thats out of my pocket unfortunately. but it is awesome with the details. maybe when a lottery win comes in!!!😔😔
Are you able to show what you're doing with the controller? We have one and have tried everything to get it up in the air and nothing is working! Very frustrating!
the instructions on the charging aren't clear.
there is no light that says if it's charging or not.
and the battery says it's an 11.1volt battery.
it's a 3s batter wich means 3x3.7volts is indeed 11.1 volts.
but the battery charger will just go up to 12v and keep going i assume.
now if 11.1v is full. then why do the instructions say "warning if battery drops below 11.1v it may get damaged"
and then says nothing about what voltage to charge it to.
Sounds very loud I've tried hellis wasn't good I just am bad at flying anything really. Which is a shame as I love the idea. Nice looking this one I had a Apache the day I took it out for 1st flight it went up and up across and down and I never found it afterwards. Gutted the grass in the field was longer than I thought.
It's electric. Would be a lot louder if it was IC or turbine powered believe me.
Do you have a video showing FPV?
No. We tried with 2 sets of goggles and couldn't record the video for unknown reason

This type of heli is perfect for that. Has a lot of features that prevent you from crashing it.

Yup, it's not cheap but shouldn't be compared with your regular RC heli of this size. The GPS and drone features plus the FPV push up the price. I'm looking forward to trying out the FPV especially. Just waiting for some analog FPV goggles that will record video.

Agreed. That's big money. I believe there are cheaper gps helicopter options. Perhaps without the cool scale shell. Have a look on aliexpress and bang good

Just ridiculously easy to fly. If they made a quarter scale version I would buy it in a heart beat. My aim by end of this year is to have a big scale heli with head tracked FPV.

Nothing particular but it would need a very scale cockpit and scheme. Would get one second hand already setup. Don't have the funds or time yet. Other things in the pipeline.
