Take the pan out of the pot, I even turn it bottom up to press and shape dough on bottom to be the size of the inside, remove dough , put pot back and finish making the pizza pie…cover with paper towel across lid space….😊wa-la…
I just got a small rice cooker yesterday, and I wasn't aware of all the other things you can cook in it besides rice. I'm anxious to give this pizza recipe a try. You did a good job on this video. Ray

Hi Leslie, what a great idea to create a recipe book for your daughter to give her ideas of what you can do with a rice cooker. I cook all kinds of things in mine. I boil potatoes, make mac and cheese, soups and stews, hard or soft boiled eggs....anything that just needs to boil can be made in one of these. I've also baked in it (like pizza, brownies, cinnamon rolls and biscuits). You might also want to check out my video on the Dash mini toaster since she is limited on kitchen space. That is great for anything frozen or meats, like chicken nuggets, fish fillets, chicken thighs, loaded baked potatoes, stuff like that. It takes up sooo little space and adds variety to your meals. I have a Aroma rice cooker and so far I watched a lot of UTube videos of what you can cook inside a rice cooker and many different foods being cooked and baked.Now if I see this video makes pizzas im gonna adopt this to my list.

@@semi-living3407 But seriously...those things (four packs of them) blew up in my fridge....sounded like gunshots!...then when I realized what it was, I pulled them out of my fridge and tossed them into my trash (which I had in the cabinet under the kitchen sink....and the ones that hadn't exploded in the fridge started popping under the sink!...They were stuck to the bottom of my kitchen sink and all along the walls of the under-sink cupboard! It was unreal!...lol
It's amazing what you can do with a rice cooker like the Dash. I have two Dash rice cookers, and I use them constantly for lots more things than rice: beans, grits, oatmeal, pasta, soup, and even reheating foods. I find that it's more economical than using the stove, and it doesn't heat the kitchen up so much in the summertime.

Just passing through and saw your demonstration for vandweller pizza . It looks delicious. Thanks for the ideas. I just bought the mini rice cooker and used it today for the first time. I thought I'd try to make my breakfast oatmeal into a cookie to go with my coffee in the morning.

I use 1/3 of a package of real pizza dough(scale out weight) don’t eat those biscuits , don’t like bread for crust ,roll out 6 in package crust with a camping cup or press down with floured fingers. With the pot turned over to fit Add toppings, great video, just added my 2cents, luv my rice cocker to fix so many things besides rice
I love my little Perfect Cooker, that I've been using for 2 years. I ordered a mini cooker for one of my seniors. Her family got her a small slow cooker. The proble with that is, it doesn't shut off when done. She over cooked her chicken. I hope she will use the mini pot. I'll show her a few recipes.

I just watched a video prior to this one on making s meatloaf in a rice cooker I don't know if that's something you might want to try or not.

Hi Mandy, I have a Kodiak Inergy solar power generator that I use in my van. I can't recall exactly but I think it's 1500 watts so it has no problem powering the mini rice cooker. Thanks for checking out the video and leaving me a comment.

When I used to camp with Girl Scouts, I made pizzas by using slices of bread or pita bread as the crust. Cheaper than using bisquits and less messy.
Naan works too. I found both tasted better with a bit of pre-toasting

I would take the pan out of the rice cooker to prepare on your counter then put it back in. Might be easier. Paper towel on top is a great tip!

You blind bake the crust first then you add all the toppings that's how you get a brown crisp crust.

That looks really good, although in the UK we don't have that - Biscuits in a can - stuff, and biscuits in the UK = cookies in the U.S.
So no scones in a can?
You could use puff pastry, cut the sheet to fit the rice cooker. Get a very simple kind of mini or small rice cooker.

@@mandyennis I believe they generate 240 watts, correct? If so this only uses 200 watts so you should be fine with a 240.

I know I've seen bags of frozen biscuit dough in some stores. I hate those pressurized cans too. They sure are like a bomb... or a grenade.
