I really hope Spektrum, Align and any other manufacturers you feature have taken care of you financially. Your videos are better than anything on the web put out by aforementioned people. Without your beastx series and this fine tuning video most people would have been dead in the water. Great job Freddy, I wish you nothing but success!
Your videos helped me alot over the years. Your very detailed explanations on settings and showing how those settings apply with actual flying are what people need.
Freddy your Awesome thanks for the video. It provided a good insight on the beastX system and the parameters associated with it. Let's face it I'll never be as good as you but at least I'll get pretty good . Thanks, P.J
Hey freddy I'm getting a Large size powerful RC Helicopter GYRO-with Dv Camera-2014 Today and have been watching your video's for 2 week nobody's video's comes close to what yours. I have watch 1-7 of beginner very informative I will continue to watch and learn. Text you soon
Hey buddy, so basically depending on the gearing you have and the ESC. The throttle curves will vary. For example, I have the HW Plat 200A with GOV on. So I have a throttle curve for each mode as follows. Norm 80% Idle 1 90% idle 2 100%. But this can very on your settings and GOV requirements. As for pitch I always run the standard -12.5, 0, +12.5. I hope this helps buddy.
@@33forsaken yes it helped a lot. I got mine set at 80% flat throttle curve for idle-up1 and a little positive pitch half stick. Linear pitch curve 20-40-60-80-100. Normal throttle curve 0-40-80-80-80. It went perfect when throwing the switch half stick. Thank Freddy
Hi Freddy: your explanation is useful clear and easy to understand. much appreciated. Question do you run any type of servo backup guard on your electric Heli's
Hey buddy its really easy, you will just have your pitch curve linear so 0,25,50,75,100 for both idle one and two. Just make sure to set your full negative amount (zero at center) and full positive amount. As for the throttle curve it will depend, are you using a GOV or manual TC?
@@33forsaken thanks for the reply , no I don't use a governor not shore wheather it has one built in ? I have been told it my have one built in on the ESC 🤔 all this is a mine field. Which I had to fine out how to set up my breast X myself Just wish i had seen your you tube last month as I gave up and it sat on the side
Hello Freddy I just got my first flybarless heli and want to ask you something Yesterday I try to take off but the smash keep Adjusting , is that normal I didn’t want to take of thinking that I will lose the control on the heli When I pick the heli up after the beasts initialized if I move the heli the swash move to one more thing if I move one of the sticks on the radio the servo keep moving on that direction Even though I only moved the stick about a 1/4 Hope I ear from you
Yes the flybarless system is designed to counter balance the movements in the opposite directing. Example if you pick up your Heli and tilt it forward, the swash will tilt backwards by it self to remain level. I am working on the Beast X/AR7200BX full setup videos as I type this message. It will be up soon, it should help with your questions for sure :)
Man so glad you answered I have text a few guys with heli channels and no one approached with any answers Thanks for replay to me I have a you tube channel too and always answer who ask a question So sorry for continued asking you questions Ok so the swash it will compensate the movement I get that But why if I give a imputes the the elevator , aileron ,etc the swash will keep moving I mean if I move the stick just a tab the servo will keep going Also I set the full throw to the teal blades and when the beast Initialize I don’t have full throw on it just a little like a 1/4 each way Any way that to keep up posting hope you can take the time to answer Thanks again Regards
Hi Freddie need help on this I have the ar7200 on a 600 md 500e scale heli and notice that it bobbles right after farward flight & the tail holds but hunts after a bank turn but holds what's your suggestion .
Hi Freddy... I noticed you have the FBL unit mounted inside the heli. Is that where it should be or is mounting it on the tray behind the main shaft ok?
been fighting with flb systems for two months now man and I'm fed up. this is too much work toooooooomuch work ..never even came close to having this much issues with. simple gy401 and a fly bar sigh. I just want to fly dear god I just want to fly.
Freddy Cordova i want to increase or decrease gain in the transmitter ? me and a buddy of mine have been struggling on this with the tail wagg on my 450 L . so from what your video said i would want to decrease my gain on my rate on the transmitter? is 32% a good start for the gain ? id like to pick your brain some on my goblin 500 im about to build also . is it ok to shoot u a text or a call in a few days when it arrives ? thanks for your help . names nick
Freddy Cordova i will do that. im on the fence. may see if u can do a build on the 500 goblin im about to receive . or maybe some set up on it. Will see im pretty capable of the build but setup is where i need help .ill be in contact with u . thanks
hi freddy,I just bought a new version trex 700 dominator top, with the 850 motor. it has microbeast plus, can you do a complete set up video, the manual is crap, please please, cheers from UK
+t-rexflyer t-rexflyer it's got he same exact setup. Just a few different features. The videos will get you familiar to where u can set that bad boy up all day
This is normal. They are not supposed to jump back to center when you release the cyclic stick. Keep in mind that what you see the servoes doing on the ground is different from how they move in the air.
Using a beast X on a 550L when landing and spooling down the helicopter seems to suddenly lean over to one side. Is there something I've set up wrong? Maybe vibration at a certain RPM sends the gyro off? Would I be able to fix that by turning the gyro down on the radio? Any ideas?
Great content, but you need to pay attention to your production values... the lack of audio quality makes watching this video painful... too bad because the content is great :(
Shut ya fn mouth loser. This dudes the man. Nothing painful about it. Reading your comment is the only thing painful.. keep up your good work rc heli dude..
I flew fly bar for 8 yrs and two years ago went with fly bar-less . I have nothing but hate for the beastx. Did a test in the back yard and it hovered fine. Went to the field and it went all over the place on the place on the cyclic. Made a tiny adjustment on the pots and tried it again according to manual. I hovered at first and then flew like it was drunk and crashed. What a oversensitive system. I'm done with heli's thanks to beastx. Nothing but grief.
Freddy can you please let me know if is normal that when I move the pitch and elevator just a little bit the servo move slowly all the way to the end of the throw is that normal too
Yes it can be normal, please note that the flybarless system is active. So when the Heli is sitting on the ground the system my seem a little strange however, once in the air it will start to behave the way it is supposed to. Always try a test flight to see what results you get. If there is any odd behavior land and re adjust as needed.
Thank you Freddy! No one on UA-cam have teached me more about rc helis than you. Even these old clips are still very useful to me.

Great video! This was one of the best explanation of a setup that I've ever seen. That is also one of the best setup helicopters I've ever seen.
Hey thanks brother lol, I just also completed the AR7200BX full setup guide as well.
Good to see someone match settings to actual flying, big help. Thanks
Thanks buddy :)
