Cari! I love your videos because what you might think is "boring" is so calming and realistic to me. You make me realize that happiness lies in the little things and routines in life - enjoying a park, a good pastry or tea or coffee, a good book. Please don't feel like that has to change. I think that's why a lot of us love to watch these. In the age of sensationalist content creators, a channel like yours can connect to people in a deeper, more genuine way.

the weather has been so gorgeous here too! the minute the temperatures his >10°C, germans are sitting outside and busting out the grill lmao. sadly, every time there's good weather i've had to go to work so i've only been able to enjoy it through my commute. still, spring is almost here and i can feel it healing me.

I literally could watch the little snippets, videos of the cafe, booking shopping every week without being bored. It’s so relaxing but I understand when you’re making the videos how to keep them more exciting. I visit my local cafe and bring my knitting because of your videos ❤ I would also throw out there I love the yarn shop and cafe vlog the most!

Dune 1 definitely was the world/character building introduction, it set the scene and cinematography style of Denis Villeneuve's vision. Dune 2 was beautiful too but with first impressions stuff out of the way he could get more into action and the "blockbuster" aspects that can really get asses in seats while still delivering on the artistic side. Happy to have more of these tho, was never into the MCU stuff and I'm picky on sci-fi at times but I've enjoyed pretty much all of the directors work and his style seems to work great for this story. (Blade Runner too)

Would have loved to have gotten a look at the new camera. But also I think it will be annoying for you to have to clean up the background so much more. So probably more for outside shoots. But I am really a fan of your usual framing of shots. It’s immaculate. I don’t know that you need a wide angle lense. Also never a grey day with your beautiful hair in the shot. Everything is vibrant and lively when you are about!

I loved dune so much. I have read the books and wasn’t annoyed with the changes. I’m gonna watch it again tomorrow and see how I feel after. But I am also very biased because I love the film and the whole cast (Lea Seydoux omg 😍).

First Lie Wins was definitely full of twists! But an easy read. Then I read The Expatriates before watching the show with Nicole Kidman. And I was looking up the definitions of many unfamiliar words! Have you seen Perfect Days, nominated for an Oscar, Cari? Simple, slow but a profound message of enjoying our regular days. So good! And the toilets he cleaned everyday were part of the actual Tokyo Toilet Project. Each one interesting and unique. (Never had that thought about any public toilet before lol)
