The economic sabotage is done deliberately by Western powers who want to keep Zim ungovernable so a puppet Opposition gets into power to allow the West to pillage precious minerals like Diamonds,Platinum,Chrome-ore,Lithium,Uranium ,untapped oil and gas reserves.Its all about hegemony sadly.

The shop fronts seem to be slightly similar to the UK. However the village looks nothing like any UK village. I would say it resembles Cape Town much more.

The majority of goods sold in those shops (Shoes, Dresses, Cosmetics, Picture Frames, Books, etc). Are imported. In addition, they are probably paying dear, for the rents!
