Wish I could hear this. I watched Another World for 30 years and I am seeing images I have long forgotten. Another World was an epic for the time and I miss that kind of daytime drama, thing for sharing this.
RIP Constance Ford, Beverly McKinsey, George Rineholt, Douglas Watson, Jacqueline Courtney, Constance Ford and Charles Keating. Also a Special RIP to Howard Rollins
I only got to see AW a few years back when SoapNOT was running it for awhile and I could tell it was one classy dame. Would love to see all these early years that are here. It must have been an extraordinary show to fall in love with...
The Guy at 6:03 in the Mustache was in a TV Movie called Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry, Harold Rollins, Morgan Freeman, Ving Rhames, and even Joe Morton appeared on The Show. Petronia Paley later played Vivian Grant on another P & G Show Guiding Light.
The unfortunate truth about withholding this stuff because of the copyright is this: Nostalgia is not going to persuade anybody to open their pocketbooks to pay what the copyright holder wants for the viewing of these films. It would be like paying admission to Grandma's attic. It's fun to go up there, but one of the attractions is that it is free.
God I miss Nancy Frangione. Cecile was my favorite soap character of all time. I hate to admit it but alot of my personality as an adult stems from watching her as a kid. I can't believe they disabled the audio track to this film.
The R & B Singer was sort of a Hommage to so many of the Funk Groups that were popular from The Bar Kays (Boogie Bodyland), Cameo (Word Up), and even Lakeside Fantastic Voyage.
The US Soaps are so 180% from UK Soaps in the sense that they remembered the "Original" Families. Eastenders that debuted on Feb 18 1985 had Pete Beale, his Fraternal Twin Sister Pauline Fowler and their extended families. In 2024 their family legacy continues.
@@JayJay-nc7prYes. However, US Folks got access to Eastenders, through PBS on it's Detroit Affiliate. Folks now watch alot of UK Soaps and they love them. Also alot of Actors from Gentleman Jack, Downton Abbey got their start on Coronation Street and Sarah Lancashire (Julia, Happy Valley, Last Tango In Halifax) also did Corrie and her folks once wrote for the show.
I loved it when Cecile thought she was running the show until Alma put her in her place. Never seen anybody so scared.. haha They should've of never let Beverly McKinsley or Nancy Frangione go.
Can someone please tell me who the blonde woman in the red dress was, standing next to Mac at a party, followed by David Canary as the new Steven Frame?
Does anybody know where that scene where rachel was being chased in that car by that guy who by the way was played by actor steven culp who also did one life to live as well as friday the 13th. Jason goes to hell he also appeared in the film thirteen days about the cold war but im wondering where that scene where rachel and that man was filmed at if anybody knows
@mimeNo9 : Probably as great as she is now. Think of a young Dorian or Erica Kane and thats probably how great HER Rachel was ;-) BTW: Did you know that Agnes Nixon said that Rachel was the prototype FOR Erica Kane?? I think she had created both characters, Rachel then Erica.

My mother used to watch this show and I remember images from it for some reason; Mack and Rachel and his crazy daughter Iris years.

What a flashback! Holy cow. Thank you.
Do you have any clips of Robin Strasser (Rachel) on "Another World" (or "Texas")? I've always wondered what she was like back then.

Same with Coronation Street with the Barlow’s, Ken is still in it, and Emmerdale however only has 3 Sugden’s left

Happy 51st anniversary to the Continuing Story of Another World!
HOW FUN!! Awesomeness !
Love the Old School Carl!
Hard to believe that Joe Morton (aka Olivia Pope's Father) appeared on the Show back in the Day.

fantastic
JUST LOVE THAT GEORGE REINHOLT,HOPE HE IS DOING OK.
What was the name of the announcer, I loved his voice. I think his was next to Casey Kasem's one of the best on NBC.
Laura Malone as Blaine...sorry for the typo
once again audio has been RIPPED away from an ANOTHER WORLD video clip... WMG? what is that?
no voice like Bill Wolff...
You know who was also a fantastic Announcer back in the Day. Casey Kasem.
Can someone please tell me who the blonde woman in the red dress was, standing next to Mac at a party, followed by David Canary as the new Steven Frame?
that was a weak recast of Alice

Do you have any clips when Mike Bauer from Guiding Light came to Bay City to work with John Randolph and he had an affair with Pat.
Too bad they would not share the sound there are so many fans!
To bad they took out the audio
