The needler is basically my weapon of choice in ALL the games, in CE I usually coupled it with the Magnum. And yeah, pink needles in that one too. "Fear the pink mist" is still my favorite achievement name of the series. =p

What happened during Hack the World was Kinzie was explaining how to instantly clear your notoriety, you just have to look for a gold glowing orb that moves around very quickly, and then kill it with e. It shows up on your minimap so even if you lose sight of it you can still follow it easily.
This game is basically a standalone expansion, like Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. The core game still lives, the same engine. Just a fresh splash on the graphics, some new repetitious story elements and new features. It's saints

Most of the side quests are organized into missions given by allies as you rescue them, so if you don't wanna miss out on some dialog from them don't do all the side stuff before they tell you to do it. Also, talk to Keith David. Dubstep gun is best gun ever.
Jesse, one of the quests from keith david gets you a dubstep gun, one of the quests you can gt from him right now actually, get it, you'll love it when you add on the explosive wubs, customizing also changes the dubstep.

At 14:12 the thing that happened was that somehow you two managed to get credit for catching a golden ball thing (a CID) and pressing 'E' without actually doing it. When you actually do it, it resets your notoriety to 0. It's sort of like quidditch. Perhaps you two already realized this, but if not, hopefully this helps. Looking forward to the next video!

Jesse, at all Planet Zins there are two Zinyak Statues. There are also a bunch of statues scattered around the world. If you blow them up they give you XP and money.
The two most powerful men on the planet, able to run at the speed of sound, leap tall buildings in a single bound, and command the powers of the very elements... driving around in a glorified golf cart. High quality entertainment right there.
Jesse, the lock icon is the same as the purchase icon from saints row 3, you need to go there and hack them to gain influence in Steelport. you can always visit them
Especially those unskippable ads about shoes. Because as you may be aware; that's how Jesse gets money to put food on his table, to keep his shelter from the elements, to get him electricity and internet, and finally allows him to focus on these youtube videos! :D
I love the writing behind the later Saint's Row games but I really wish they would've put a bit more development into this game, just feels.....not all it could be to me. Still fun though, love this series Jesse!!!

Yeah, I realized that as the video went on, that Hack the Planet was the name of the mission, but hey, there is always the chance that the quest name is a reference to Hackers, knowing how much the game likes to reference things

Just a note on the statues: When fully upgraded, they go down to six shots of the heavy pistol. That one was my weapon of choice to take them out. Spent forever looking for the last statue, since I thought I'd cleared out the airport and didn't look there again, but of course that's where it was.
if u look at the white line around the weapon they are using, right under their blue health line you can see it running low. that means they are loosing their speed.
Nothing aside from reminding them to get the Noisy Cricket from the lets pretend "staff only" room, but they'll probably remember to do that when they realize the lock just means they can hack the store.
Jesse, you NEED to get the dubstep gun and btw, did you know that when your character super runs and super jumps that it makes a very cool techno sound?
I think not really knowing anything about a game and therefore not knowing what one should and should not do is advised when watching these two play it.

In the xbox version of CE 1 the needles are also pink. Only those on top of the needler looked purple/pinkish.

Collect the clusters! When you have enough of them you can upgrade your super sprint so it is faster than any car

You can also get unlimited sprinting upgrade from the quests too.

I'd suggest putting your cash into upgraded your guns, its really helpful to have massive clips and the special effect of each weapon!
