Nice, I actually have Woecleaver from the first 10 packs legendary guarantee. Now all I have to do is craft Scourgelord Garrosh... and Grom... and 2 Sleep with the fishes... and 2 Brawls... and 2 Sudden Genesis... and 2 charged Devilsaurs... and Dead Man's Hand, and I'm set!
That first match was an incredible win, and is the reason I stay subscribed to this channel. Ignore the haters. Some of us actually want to learn something. Keep up the good work Kripp.
I get Kripp's point but he's neglecting that 3 of the 9 legendary weapons (val, king's and twig) don't suffer all too much for being removed. Granted, I don't think 2/3 of those will ever be part of a tier-1 deck, but it goes against his logic of "you can't make a good deck with these because removal". Edit: Hell, Rhok doesn't care either
Even more so that he's neglecting the Dead Man's Hand, right there, in the deck. If you're concerned about the weapon being oozed, Dead Man's THEN play it.
Right for sure. I mean, there's the issue of getting all 3 of your big guys before you draw the second cleaver, but deadman's hand also solves that if you're smart about getting the cleaver and the big guys shuffled.
Twig suffers a lot from being removed. You never actually ramp with twig because the earliest you can pop it is turn 9. If you don't get your 20 mana turn from popping it you've just played a 4 mana lights justice.
instrumememantla he's just doing the "it dies to removal" excuse that exists in every tcg. In magic the gathering we say "it dies to doomblade" all too often
There can CERTAINTLY be tier 1 deck with a legendary weapon being the main card. Take the paladin weapon or druid weapon, for example. 2 cards that definitely never want to be oozed.
Why would Kingsbane not see play? It's literally the best Weapon in the game, a 1 mana 5/3 weapon with Life Steal and Poisonous, than can never be destroyed, and it has Synergy with Doomerang. 15 Healing over 3 turns, 15 Damage over 3 turns, Board Control, 1 Mana deal 5 damage repair your Weapon, why wouldn't you run it? Put Violet Illusionist, Evasion, and the Death Knight in your Deck, and you can survive to turn 10 easily. Put cards like the 4 mana 4/4 Spider Trap card in your deck, and get insane value out of your Survivability, and put The Darkness in your Deck to combo with the Death Knight, get 6 candles, and summon 2 20/20 Minions when you draw 3 candles, along with 4/4 Spiders. This deck is Tier 2, and if not, a Very Good Tier 3 deck with insane Highrolls.
The fact that a powerful combo like that actually has a counter is great design, as opposed to an OTK deck like Razakus where there isn't really any reliable counter, at least not for control decks. Another answer to this deck is simply taunts, in the same way you could stop Anyfin Can Happen. Cards like Voidlord are nightmares I'd imagine.
Uhu. Right. Easy to say when you show games against people miraculously trying out fun new decks. Try playing on EU for a day, there's gonna be some woe, I can tell ya that Kripp.
The beautiful thing about weapon removal, though, is that if your opponent runs one ooze to counter this deck, you can have 4 other weapons in your deck that will never get removed. If they want to run multiple oozes to counter a revived weapon meta, they are taking up some valuable deck slots. As long as oozes never get a synergy effect I think it'll be fine. Just think of all the face you can hit.
In case weapon removal becomes more common this deck still has some fighting chance. Just add in some Dead Man's Hands to create more Woecleavers. That should also help with the drawing your rminions first and only the weapon last kind of problems.
that is the benefit of the rouge weapon it comes again and again, it is not a deck strat i would count on but can be great addition for 4 cards (weapon+lifesteal and 2*+2 dmg) can help out a lot
On your disclaimer at the beginning: druids weapon might love to be destroyed sometimes and rogue and paladin don't suffer too much either. The hunters weapon is mainly about the battle cry. Most of the other weapons can get at least some value the turn you play it. So I don't think supressing weapon destruction would have made that much sense in terms of balancing the game
Opened up a Woecleaver. Was wondering what to do with it... considered dusting it because I'm F2P so Big Warrior is waaayyy over my budget, but stopped myself because Warrior is my fav class and combo warriors have been my favourite decks of all time (Patron, Worgen, Monsanto Don Han'cho-Leeroy). And then I saw this vid. Kripp, thank you so much. EDIT: I wonder how this deck would work in Wild.... we have Ragnaros there. >:D
That's true, BUT it gets fucked by silences. In the class most vulnerable to silences. And if you ooze the Rogue weapon, you're still getting a tempo gain and taking their big beefy weapon and putting it on hold.
You are removing the paladin weapon also and getting tempo. They still need to replay the weapon after they get it back while you have put a minion on board by removing it. The only difference is that they weapon comes back to hand instead into the deck as opposed to rogues.
I played 10 games with this deck and What for me is the most op is molten blade. Omg i got druid leg weapon 4 times and got 10 mana in 5 turn by equiping new weapon :D it s so much fun
Yo Kripp, you changed the decklist a little bit from the first game. You put in a Dead Man's Hand, not sure what you took out. Were you worried about fatigue games?
What are you smoking kripp? Weapon removal was adressed in druid, paladin, hunter and rogue (a bit) Druid gains 10 mana, paladin weapon gains infinite value, you play the hunter weapon for the battlecry + first hit, the second hit is just extra, and the rogue weapon never really gets destroyed (although it is hindered by removal)
Rogue weapon deck is p great. Best part is it can't be oozed to death. I mean it may set you back, but it doesn't stop you permanently. Also good thing is you can never deck out with rogue dagger deck. Just keep putting the weapon on top with your hero ability and boom infinite turns, if anyone crafts any of the weapons Id suggest the rogue weapon. The deck is really fun and has a lot of tactical uses in it if you are smart and enjoy intelligent plays.
The only weapon I think can make a tier 1 deck without being countered is the Hunter one, bc it's just the Battlecry, if you destroy it after the Battlecry that's not that big of an issue, in fact is better to destroy a Bow than that
TBH: Ladder is all netdecks from scratch. So basically there is just a slight disparity in skill(?) between the players of rank 20 and rank 1 for example.
You’re not entirely correct, as the Rogue weapon has the mechanic that means even when it’s Oozed it just shuffled back into your deck, and you have the 2 mana 3/1 to draw it w whenever you want.
The hunter weapon is just for the battlecry, so that'll never be oozed out of a top tier deck. The paladin weapon also doesn't care about ooze for the most part.
Well, there's the initial legendary from your first 10 and after that you are only guaranteed another after an additional 40 packs. So you haven't been all that unlucky yet. With like 10 more opened packs you would be.
I think the point is more like how the fuck do you make a competitive deck if literally 30 packs gets you one legendary? Think about it, a normal person can play 1-2 hours a day of hs. That’s enough time to get a daily done which we’ll call 70 gold and probably get 30 gold from wins. So a pack a day. So in 30 days of grinding 1-2 hours a day you will earn 1 legendary. This is why hearthstone isn’t fun
invokeability of course i am, who cares about one of the most unplayed KotFT legendary card? Just imagine that i have internet in Ahn'Kahet and i play HS.
Lol at Rania saying Invisibility cloak sucks, it's very underrated. Yeah, you don't have taunts but you can draft minions with weak health and powerful effects, and you can choose when and who to trade. In my case it was particularly funny to be a mage with double health and an invisible animated armor.
People saying the druid weapon still gets wrecked by removal are stupid. They all assume there's literally no way to break your own weapon besides attacking despite the fact Medivh (and as much as it's a meme card it might work) bling-tron exist. So you leave the opponent with two options, either break it early and give you a load of ramp, or break it late and risk you having a turn with an extra load of mana.
Kind of curious why his deck doesn't have Dead Man's Hand, especially because you can potentially draw the big charge minions and then the deck is much weaker. Dead Man's Hand can help trigger the Woecleaver. Maybe swap one I Know A Guy with Dead Man's Hand?
Kripp, consider putting a dead man's hand so you can play it with Woecleaver and put the charge minions back to your deck, thus not losing the combo even if you draw them all
Now that I am thinking about this... Carnivorous cube eats a minion and summons 2 coppies of it as deathrattle... So if you eat a Carnivorous cube that already ate some deathrattle... Do you get 2 copies of the first cube which both release 2 copies of the minion? + the 2 that you get when you eat the cube with the 2nd one???
Tried it vs AI with some subs. Ended up not drawing the weapon and all minions, had to shuffle them back just to stay alive. Then I drew the minions before the weapon again. In the end, I won by hard casting and copying Grom over 2 turns. So yeah, the low roll is terrible. Nice defense though. Note, DK is a must 'cause otherwise the Fishes are nearly useless.
I crafted Kingsbane and made a dedicated Rogue Weapon deck. It's weak against anything with lots of taunt, anything with oozes, most mage decks, most priest decks, aggro decks, Jade decks, and any match where you don't mulligan into Kingsbane/(2 mana minion with battlecry: pull a weapon from your deck) as well as a few weapon buffs. Or if you have 2x leeching poison (which you really NEED to run) in your oppening hand. It might perform a bit better with Patches, since it uses a bunch of pirates. But I'm not crafting that stupid aggro piece of cancer. That said- no regrets. But I was also a fan of rogue decks with 2x assassin blades and 2x sharpsword oil, just building big durable knife to stab and stab and stab.

this. amazing
I thought the same. Glad someone else appreciated it
Nice, I actually have Woecleaver from the first 10 packs legendary guarantee. Now all I have to do is craft Scourgelord Garrosh... and Grom... and 2 Sleep with the fishes... and 2 Brawls... and 2 Sudden Genesis... and 2 charged Devilsaurs... and Dead Man's Hand, and I'm set!
Oh man, I only have Grom.
You have to craft brawl?...
Who has 1600 Dust just laying around to craft two brawls?
chaosmastermind *800
okay whatever, even so, that's still 80 times the amount of dust I have.
That first match was an incredible win, and is the reason I stay subscribed to this channel. Ignore the haters. Some of us actually want to learn something. Keep up the good work Kripp.

You are a man !
hey guys how’s it going preparing here
ClosedCaptionerino Kripperino didn't know that kripp is reducing cost of the next spell you cast this turn by (3)
hey guys... like #69 here ;)
As it turns out, recruit is preeeettty decent.
A Box Of Cheese i
I never expected recruit to be bad, but it is a really boring as shit mechanic. I don't feel good pulling out shit out of my deck
preeeeeettty goooood

There can CERTAINTLY be tier 1 deck with a legendary weapon being the main card. Take the paladin weapon or druid weapon, for example. 2 cards that definitely never want to be oozed.
Rogue is tier 1 easily
wait a week and you shall see no one is going to play rogue weapon , maybe in your rank 20 games.
He Richard rank 15 at highest as more of a meme
Wait till turn 9 then ooze twig, your opponent ramps 1 mana crystal. So strong.
WRECKS THE WORLD (at rank 14)
theres like zero difference between rank 4 and rank 15 in regards to skill. it's just time played. if you can make r14 you can make r4.
Had the idea when I was playing King Rogue yesterday. One of the most fun decks I've tried this expansion so far.
take a shot for each W in the name of this video
It's weird seeing Kripp have fun. I like it.
The fact that a powerful combo like that actually has a counter is great design, as opposed to an OTK deck like Razakus where there isn't really any reliable counter, at least not for control decks.
Another answer to this deck is simply taunts, in the same way you could stop Anyfin Can Happen. Cards like Voidlord are nightmares I'd imagine.
woecleaver warrior?just call it EZ BIG WARRIOR
no, big warrior would have a lot of big minions and recruit cards, this is combo deck
Is this supposed to be funny? Because it's just inaccurate.
Herbert Lucas gotta have those alliterations tho
trump refference
The priest vs warrior game- the control meta Kripp always wanted
It's so satisfying seeing a good control deck make it.
Uhu. Right. Easy to say when you show games against people miraculously trying out fun new decks. Try playing on EU for a day, there's gonna be some woe, I can tell ya that Kripp.
Arrakiz666 Ikr, EU rank 18-12 is more vicious than 10-7.
EU is full of really shitty players that's why they can never win worlds
You don't need to be skilled to win with Hunter.
EU is way easier than NA for grinding ranks
The beautiful thing about weapon removal, though, is that if your opponent runs one ooze to counter this deck, you can have 4 other weapons in your deck that will never get removed. If they want to run multiple oozes to counter a revived weapon meta, they are taking up some valuable deck slots. As long as oozes never get a synergy effect I think it'll be fine. Just think of all the face you can hit.
pls fix the volume levels. The gameplay sections are really quiet.
Wow that combo gets me rock solid holy crap.
Kripps goal for intro: say woecleaver as many times as possible
Actually they did work around weapon removal effect, but only for some of the weapons.
Rogue's and Paladin's weapons, you can not get rid of them.
I never expected that the recruit mechanic could be so powerful
In case weapon removal becomes more common this deck still has some fighting chance. Just add in some Dead Man's Hands to create more Woecleavers. That should also help with the drawing your rminions first and only the weapon last kind of problems.

that is the benefit of the rouge weapon it comes again and again, it is not a deck strat i would count on but can be great addition for 4 cards (weapon+lifesteal and 2*+2 dmg) can help out a lot

I've never seen him this excited when talkin about new deck o.o
Underdog of the Expansion? "The Runespear" says hi... though I don't blame you for forgetting it ever existed.
Wouldn't dead man's hand be a good addition to this deck? Shuffle big minions and legendary weapon back into your deck etc
Actually kingsbane rogue has a chance of trhiving even with the amount of oozes around, since it's basically infinite and so searchable.
Thank you for the disclaimer!
But isnt the paladin weapon (almost) uneffected by weapon removal because of the infinite death rattle?
the rogue one also and the druid one must not be touched before turn 8 else you help the druid
That's true, BUT it gets fucked by silences. In the class most vulnerable to silences. And if you ooze the Rogue weapon, you're still getting a tempo gain and taking their big beefy weapon and putting it on hold.

I played 10 games with this deck and What for me is the most op is molten blade. Omg i got druid leg weapon 4 times and got 10 mana in 5 turn by equiping new weapon :D it s so much fun
Kripp put dead man's hand into the deck so you can reshuffle the charge minions in case you draw all of them
you could use dead mans hand to run out their ooze
Yo Kripp, you changed the decklist a little bit from the first game. You put in a Dead Man's Hand, not sure what you took out. Were you worried about fatigue games?
Watching this, I gotta say I like the new camera.
What are you smoking kripp?

The deck is really fun and has a lot of tactical uses in it if you are smart and enjoy intelligent plays.
that being said, they need to fix some interactions with weapon destruction in order to make the deck feel less clunky.
Kingsbane can probably survive despite weapon removal, it only costs 1 mana to use again and there are ways to redraw it over and over again.
The only weapon I think can make a tier 1 deck without being countered is the Hunter one, bc it's just the Battlecry, if you destroy it after the Battlecry that's not that big of an issue, in fact is better to destroy a Bow than that
Another Kripp-trap. Getting a win streak at rank fourteen with a 10 k+ dust deck. LUL
You get a free hero card and free leg weapon.
TBH: Ladder is all netdecks from scratch. So basically there is just a slight disparity in skill(?) between the players of rank 20 and rank 1 for example.
Kingsbane laughs at your PSA about oozes
You’re not entirely correct, as the Rogue weapon has the mechanic that means even when it’s Oozed it just shuffled back into your deck, and you have the 2 mana 3/1 to draw it w whenever you want.
Kripp I think you SHOULD attack when you equip so that they have to deal with the large minion and your weapon. Might make it safer!!!
The hunter weapon is just for the battlecry, so that'll never be oozed out of a top tier deck. The paladin weapon also doesn't care about ooze for the most part.
This deck is really good to counter secret hunter deck
Alliteration always accentuates an awesome, attention attracting title

I didn't use one.
Andy Belarus I have absolutely no freaking idea what you just said, but it sounded awesome.

wow kripp didn't lose a game at rank 14, such a meta breaking deck
People saying the druid weapon still gets wrecked by removal are stupid.

Maybe swap one I Know A Guy with Dead Man's Hand?
Is molten blade halfway decent now because of all the legendary weapons?
maybe there should be 1 dead man hand so u can sent all the big charge minon on hand into deck to be summon by wep
Kripp, consider putting a dead man's hand so you can play it with Woecleaver and put the charge minions back to your deck, thus not losing the combo even if you draw them all
I mean...he did.
Blue Balls i didnt see it... is it on the list?
Can you make a Val'anyr deck? Val'anyr + Chain Gang + Doppelgangster + Rummaging Kobold = up to 12x Val'anyr buffs simultaneously.
This could never be a meta deck because it is countered by King Togwaggle
I only have 1 charged devilsaur. Replacement ideas please? thanks
You should put one copy of dead man's hand in your deck in case you draw all your minions before the combo
Now that I am thinking about this... Carnivorous cube eats a minion and summons 2 coppies of it as deathrattle... So if you eat a Carnivorous cube that already ate some deathrattle... Galax94cz yes i think so
The cubes that pop out of the first cube wont remember what they ate so no drops
Use it on Aya for moaaaaaaaar jades. LOL
tried it in a dungeon run thinking the result would be amazing, didn't work
That's kinda disappointing to be honest
i laughed so hard at 17:25 LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Has anyone notice how much he moves his head when he talks?
Patrick Restuccio Yup, try keeping your cursor on his nose.
Or how much he blinks
This deck is amazing! Who came up with it?
Charge being a problem, once again, best keyword for interaction.
Would love to make this but missing all the epics and gromash. How many packs would it take to get like 6k dust
Hey Kripp! Why don't you add a deadman's hand on your deck so that when you draw all charge minions, you have extras. lol
Best moment ever “get the fuck out of here yizera, what the bullshit?”
Anyone notice the legendary weapon border around the molten blade?
THAT WAS AWESOME !
i laughed so hard when he said " wtf is this, gtfo ysera" XD
17:25 how to tell a dragon to fuck off
What about the paladin legendary weapon
Isn't that able to counter oozes
pls is there any possibility to down rank with WArrior any deck interesting ?? was my main i hate priest and lock..
That was AWESOME!
I agree!
AWESOME DECK !!!
What if I opened it and hate Warrior do I just disenchat it? (My free given wep was for paladin)
aluneth cancer secret mage sends its regards krippo
But I was also a fan of rogue decks with 2x assassin blades and 2x sharpsword oil, just building big durable knife to stab and stab and stab.
anyone can help me why warrior is non-existent in ladder ?
"Get the fuck outta here Ysera" 😂
Really wish I hadn't disenchanted my Woecleaver... I really undermined the ability of Recruit...
Tip: better not skip the kripp this time, he is actually giving a good advice.
Another Kripp deck tech that is playable at rank 14. Waow.
Could a kingsbane deck be fine slimes dont really have a big impact on it

I think you can put anything in its place really, it's not that important of a card here.
