This is a great video! I usually make programs for school (shortcuts for math and physics). Never really thought of using the calculator in a fun way, so thank you for sharing! I am starting my own UA-cam channel where I will also discuss TI-Nspire programming and everything I have learned about it from being a high school student. I would love it if you checked out the new series! Cheers!
That moment you still have the old version of Nspire, like the one shown in the video, and you dont play games on it because it's power source are non-rechargeble batteries. #feelsbadman Great video though, i'm learning a lot with this channel, keep up the good work! :)
For the face and body score, you should tell what the allowable max score and min score. For example, face score can range from (0-10) so that the user knows what’s allowed and what isn’t. Otherwise, you could get a negative score for someone who is beastly?
Finn Farin go to the variable "face". It's after request face score. He forgot to put a comma in front of the variable. He has it like this "face score?"face. It NEEDS to be like this: "face score?",face
When I go to scratch pad to run the program from my library I click 'Enter' and the program goes straight to 'Done' without asking me for any input or giving any result
2 years late but in case anyone else has this problem, this usually happens when there is an issue with your program, e.g when the input was something not considered by the program
//I wrote this:// Define LibPub mmf()= Prgm :Local n,i,mmf :RequestStr "Number of turns? N*I",n : :RequestStr "Current? N*I",i :mmf:n*i :Disp "mmf",mmf :EndPrgm // Can't get it to open or run. When I type mmf it turns bold but will not ask for var N or I. :( How do I fix?
First of all thanks for the comment! :) Were you able to do Ctrl+B(Check Syntax & Store)? If yes, I'd recommend doing Request instead of RequestStr, because RequestStr can be just for Strings, but it is not very clear. Anything else just ask :)
Okay, I think I know what the problem is. I tried out the program, with request, BUT do NOT use mmf for the program name and a variable, use like mf, but not mmf. I think that is what is screwing up the program
Please do more videos like this and maybe even show how to program some games!
You made me want to do a major with Computer Programming even more now! I've decided on Comp Neuro.
Hahaha that's amazing! I'm glad I did (btw I'm a mechanical engineer, so idk if my videos are much inspiration)
I gotta admit this made my day better hahaha. Was feeling low before, now im smiling :)
That's very good! I'm glad I helped!
Tutors world wide disliked this lmao, great work fella, totally sub'd, we wanna see more like getting "Made Easy" apps for free ;)
Hahaha thank you! Working on that!
Can you run programs made for the cx on the older nspire cas calculators?

That sounds awesome, I'll definitely check your channel out
@@EasyTech15 Thanks! Just posted my second video in the series!
Can you please text me at my Facebook page? I have a crazy idea and I need to talk to you

Carlos Oleiro could be worse though, at least you're not stuck with a 83/84! Thanks a lot for the support!
What's the problem with the 84?! All Calculators are beautiful man
Francisco Nolasco where shall I start...
hey man, im trying to edit a spreadsheet on the ti software, any idea on how to fix a cell like you would do in excel? thanks

Why this method only works in laptop not my calculator
How does the "Wait" in control work?
Is it in milliseconds or seconds?
Nice video bro! 10/10
What’s the difference between functions and programs?
excellent
When I try to do ctrl B it says too few arguments
It just says: error too few arguments!
Why?
+Finn Farin my guess would be that when you called the program you forgot to put the brackets , for example: program()
Finn Farin go to the variable "face". It's after request face score. He forgot to put a comma in front of the variable. He has it like this "face score?"face. It NEEDS to be like this: "face score?",face
You need like 10 000 likes for the video and creativity hahahaha
+Luan Araújo Hahaha thank you very much!

This dude is making me die laughing killed 2 birds with one stone…. Got a good laugh and learned something that hurt my head

syntax was ok but im going to try changing to request like you said.
E12 let me know how it went :)
no difference after trying

is there an easy way to put quotes on the nspire, without using the computer software (like if you are just programming on the calculator),
John Keegan the ?! Button
@@hamzastrash4377 thank you 🙏🙏🙏
@@hamzastrash4377 I've been waiting 7 months for this apparently
John Keegan haha sorry man
What is this used for
I tried downloading the program now and the program says "variable not defined"
Maybe in local it isn't defined some variable. Or it is misspelled?
Great video, however would say its more like 50/50
Gay
Everyone knows is 1/3 face, 1/3 body, 1/3 personality
Well, I wasn't counting on personality...
what language is that?
It's Texas own programming language. IDK why they didn't use a standard one
RIP headphone users
Haha i love this
I am happy to hear that!
Ref for me skip to 0:36
