Pattern Fun in Procreate: How to Draw Bugs

Join me live as we play with patterns and draw a set of fun bugs! In this Procreate tutorial, you'll learn to draw bug bodies from simple shapes while experimenting with color. Then the real magic happens as we add an array of patterns and textures to these awesome insects. Plus, you'll get great practice using alpha lock, clipping masks, and blend modes. Loved this tutorial and the irregular patterns. My question is once you've created something fun, like the bugs, how do you get the digital art from you iPad to say printed on cardstock for a card where the colors/patterns look good.

Looking for suggestions. I recently ordered my first ever iPad and am so excited! But until it arrives I don't know what to do. I'm watching all these videos and they are fantastic! But I want to try too - I want to follow along too -but sadly I can't . I even tried follow along in my paper based sketchbook but its not the same :( Waiting patiently ….

I’m having a hard time w snapping the pattern in place; the lines are on magnet/snapping and all lines turn gold but there are times when one line doesn’t! I my looks to be seamless but when I enter it on your website, turns out to not be seamless :( Any tips?

HI, I love all your videos! I have learned a lot. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't erase my mistakes when using the imperfect brush patterns. I found when using the imperfect inker but couldn't on the others. Could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

When erasing you would want to use the inker or any standard brush to erase and erasing with the same pattern brush would only erase in the shape of that pattern.
