Hi Edwin, running this boat on 4s 5000mah batteries whats the avarage run time, I heard you only get like 3-5 minutes run time which sounds pretty bad for such a good boat
Runtime on 4S or 6S is the same. All depends on your throttle control and full continuous acceleration. Half throttle 5-6 mins. Full throttle, 3-5 mins. Worst part is the UL-19 won't fit bigger batteries. 5000mah is the biggest I could fit.
Hi B C. This hydroplane is mega fast. Requires a big place to run, obviously. Works best at 4S without overheating issues. At 6S is a beast, only for expert use and short speed passes. Otherwise at 6s electronics will get hot like the sun. But at 4S or even 5S is a great hydro, beautiful water presence, for me is a lot of fun, it's different from everyone else's boat you might find. I love it. @@Duececutty6972 First, use 4S , 60C discharge rate lipos, follow the manual, and enjoy it. After you get the feeling of driving a fast hydro, you can go up to 6S, but be careful with the throttle...lol. Anytime...👍
@Chocolate Mandingo Hi. I replaced stock electronics ( Dynamite 120a esc and Dynamite 2000kv motor.) Now using Hobbywing Seaking 180a esc and Leopard 1650kv motor. Prop is Octura X447 as of today, no overheating issues, non whatsoever.

Good Hydro. But stock electronics will heat up like the sun. I swapped esc and motor and now works perfectly very cool.
