Are you ready for a video longer than 6 minutes, here we go!!! 11 entire minutes!!! 😂For real, this beautiful post town is worth the trek out there!! PS - I have 2 more videos from this Nagano trip coming out SOON!!
This place is absolutely stunning! thank you for sharing this with us. I've a long time in Canada so I am familiar with snow lol but it is still magical when it falls down and covers everything in a serene white blanket.
Loved this episode. Getting out of Tokyo, into the mountains has to be therapeutic, if a bit freezing cold as well. Thank you for going to unique and entertaining areas of Japan.
WHAT WHAT WHAT; 11 minutes of Sarah adventures?!?! It looks absolutely stunning there. The scenery everywhere in Japan is out of control, plus we have the gorgeous Sarah guiding us around, what a treat! Those old post towns have so much character, I hope to visit one when we eventually make it out to Japan! Thank you again for sharing all of your travels and your experience exploring Japan can’t wait for the next!!
My friend, thank you so much for getting out there and sharing this with us. Truly, this is exactly something I needed, as I feel like in the past few years I lost all the energy and spirit for adventures. Truly an amazing video and thank you again. Wishing you all the best. :)
Thanks for being our Narai Juku tour guide. This is my first time tuning in to your channel. I see you on Tokyo Creative a fair bit, but I don't think you talk as much there. It was nice to see more of your personality. I miss Japan so much! I lived in the Kansai region for several years in the early 2000's. Your channels all give my my nostalgia fix.
Hurray for the longer 11 minute video! Had so much fun on this trip with you! Next time let’s do the full walking trip from Kyoto to Tokyo and make a 3 month long video!! ❤
Perfect, I've been thinking about going hiking to Japan and I think it'd be cool to visit some of this mountain stops, definetly like the longer vlog style btw!
You studied abroad at a Japanese university and further refined your Japanese, which you had studied for some time. Your Japanese seems to be as fluent as your native English. I envy you greatly, as you seem to be able to blend into and enjoy the two very different worlds of Japanese and English without any sense of discomfort.
Always awesome to get out of town with friends, especially to a beautiful place with an amazing history. It looks like you had a great time together. Enjoying your content and energy. I hope you will enjoy our father-son anthropological travel channel too. I think your mindset and appetite for adventure align with ours. Keep up the good work. - Turtle
I just watched the Snow monkey video (Nihon-zaru) , and now we establish that zaru soba is cold soba. So zaru means both cold and monkey! And then they say that Greek is hard!
I recall an anecdote about how Ivica Osim, who came to Japan as a member of the Yugoslavia national soccer team in the 1960s and was walking around Tokyo, was surprised to receive a mandarin orange from a strange old woman.
Reading this makes me slightly concerned 😂 but then I remember how friendly & sweet the lady we met was! I'm still alive 1 month later to tell the tale, so was just a normal mandarin 🍊

Would be interesting to backpack the same route from Tokyo to Kyoto that they used to take in the days where there was not Apple.

The lanterns makes it so nice.
Einfach wunderhübsch.
Very nice! Personally I do prefer your shorter bite-sized videos but this was a pleasant change
ようこそ長野へ!妻籠で楽しめたのなら幸いです。
👍👌😊
Hi thanks for the video.... what is your recommended travel mode from nagano city to narai juku?
You can take a train directly there from Nagano Station to Narai Station!
奈良井宿行かれたのですね😊
蕎麦食べるのお上手ですね。
It's nice to see you because you're a beautiful woman.
Hi Sarah! What kind of visa do you have?
How did you achieve the visa to live in Japan?
中山道の宿場町🎉
Juku means accommodation in Japanese
The longest post town, huh? Narai-juku, more like, Nagai-juku, amiright?!
haha nice one! 😂
日本人の若い女性より、蕎麦のすすり方が上手です。
手水の仕方をちゃんと知っているのに驚き
Where is onsen scene ?

You might regret that, I’m not light 😂
