First off awesome video; they just seem to be getting better and better! I think it would be great to see Hokkaido when it’s not buried under feet of snow. Plus I mean, never bad to check out Sapporo and grab a couple drinks. 😂
@@seerasan @Lyssakay just ask cdawgva to be his next guest when he makes another crane game challenge video. I think he gives you $500 and you have to battle him to see who can get the best haul for $500. Unfortunately the bad part is $500 is so much that people gets drained out half way in lol.
That lemon sour bathtub was so intense! Shinjuku at night actually looks right up my alley even if people say it can be a bit more dangerous. I dunno. Sounds like fun to me...
Hi Sarah I really enjoyed this upload. I find the traditional and relaxing setting of the shrine literally in and amongst the hustle and bustle of the city really interesting, it’s nice to know that you can get away for some peaceful moments when you need them. The cat cafe was brilliant, I have two cats and their personalities are complete polar opposites 😂 we call their dry food biscuits here in England/UK, not sure about other countries though. Thank you for sharing this with us and looking forward to seeing where you’ll take us next. Best wishes to you
@6:30 LOL. Yes! You never know. You can meet English speakers in the most odd places. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I met a volunteer at the Akita Kanto Festival. He studied at the University of California (Berkeley). At a small ramen restaurant in Kochi, the waitress was an exchange student at Union City High School. Both spoke English with a California accent. It was just like home!
So happy you won in the crane game!! I've literally never won! Also the mega drink was crazy! And cat cafes, a reason on its' own to visit Japan! I would beg to work there lol
Your reaction to getting the totodile on the third try was so genuine. Put a smile on my face instantly, love it when people win against the odds! Congrats! You could definitely see Alyssa tempted to put her life savings into the crane games after your win lol.
Whenever I win something I’m genuinely so happy, probably because I don’t believe I’ll get it lol I’ll have to drag Alyssa back for another round in future!
Hi, seerasan. Great video. I have watched a few and found them really helpful. I subscribed to your channel as I love to learn more about Tokyo and Japan. I was in Shinjuku for 6 days in early July. I attended a Band-Maid okyuji at Zepp Shinjuku inside Kabukicho Tower, best rock concert of my life. Nice to relive my time in Shinjuku by watching this video. I had dinner at one of the restaurants in Kabukicho Tower. The restaurants are really close together at the 2nd floor. You are correct that the pricing is a bit higher, but quality of food was great and prices was not that bad. I found a small resturant in APA Hotel Kabukicho across the street where a lot of local people had lunch and dinner. It's called Common Cafe, the food was really cheap and very good, but the meny was a bit limited. I used the Common Cafe a lot because of the low price, and the fact it wasn't crowded at all. I can't wait to go back there in November this year 🙂
❤ Took your advice. Saw The Little Mermaid. Loved it. I apologize for it being late at watching this. Spent the day at the harbor. As always another great video. Sending Love. Have Fun. Stay Safe. ❤😊
This is a very accurate review. We've been at that location at night and there's always people sitting around and calling you out in English. That drink is insane! It was not there when I was there over the winter but we plan on going back to check out Pokemon centers and shrines/temples... Might need to get me one of those drinks 🤣
The 1st shrine was actually the 1st site I stumbled upon in Japan, and coincidentally, the last one as well before I left! It holds a special place in my heart ❤️ 😭 Also Odaiba, Chiba, Shimokitawa for next videos please! Haven't seen many videos on those areas
I'm planning my first trip to Japan which is how I stumbled on your channel. You're the first one to point out areas that are dangerous for solo female travels which I really appreciate. It seems like the night life is a big part of touring tokyo but as a woman some of the places just seemed sketchy to me.
Kabukicho/Shinjuku is a little on the sketchier side of town, so as a female solo traveller and first time in Tokyo definitely one to be wary of! There are also a few scams in this area, so best to stay alert. Enjoy your solo trip! 💛
@@seerasan Thank you and please keep up the good work with your vid. A lot of the places you're recommending seem fun and at the same time affordable 👍
Next time in Shinjuku: Sara, Emma, Aki, and Kaho compete in a challenge. Each orders one of those giant punch bowl drinks; Whoever drinks the most in 30 minutes is the winner!
It was interesting that the cat cafe has an automatic bar fee for the so called "free drink". Congrats on your crane game win, you looked like an expert! Thanks for the video.
I'm heading tk Japan for the first time in two weeks and while I'm going to be wirh a small tour group, my first couple of nights will be unsupervised in Shinjuku. Can't wait. I kind of enjoy the seedy underbelly.
great video :) (sorry if this comes across as a bit rude but ...) it's not a good idea to fill glasses direct from the bowl as it might introduce broken glass into it. you don't want to be drinking broken glass.
What a tease Sarah is. I want to know what that salty guy said! Was he upset that Sarah won? Did he mock her for spending for 40$ on the machine? What was it??? Those cats was adoreable. I almost transformed from being a dogperson to a catperson!
I absolutely love the travel hacks you shared in this video! Speaking of travel essentials, have you heard about the new V4 of the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane? It's designed to make packing and organizing a breeze, and I thought you might appreciate its functionality.
