This is also a request from a fellow youtuber. I just do the first 5 stages, as it doesn't change throughout the rest of the game. A fun game, gotta love the NES zapper.
This brings me memories... the best time of my life...
+rogermania it was a great time)
yeah for me 2
:D
Same :)
Me too
Me too....
Very first, first person shooter game.
+Da Wrongbear you're shooting at a screen right? You're shooting at objects that trying not to get shot, right? You're holding a gun shooting at the objects on a screen, dodging your bullets right? It's a first person shooter minus the multiplayer.
+Ben Geiger It's tier!
Ben Geiger like a tech
Its not a first person shooter
Its a real person shooter

I've created a new duck hunting game too which would be more attractive and more fun than ever, you can download the game from google play store:

I still have that Gun.. But I lost the Whole setup... and Cassettes..

anyone ever tried shooting the dog for laughing at you? lol

Here I am, 26 years old, making giddy kid noises as the absolute nostalgia washes over me seeing and hearing this amazing game again! This and Hogan's Alley were damn addictive!
Here i am, 14 years old, reminiscing about this game and smb3 lol
hdrjk
Here I am 32 years old missing the good old days.
Im 12 and i played this game once xd
Did you guys played it on a nintendo console or a bootleg with console which came with a keyboard
It's amazing how this works. The gun has a light cannon sensor that detects white light. When you pull the trigger, a black screen with white boxes around the ducks shows up for one frame to see if you hit a duck or not. Amazing
That's funny i was just thinking about duck hunt and I decided to look up a video to see how the gun worked and here you are answering questions no one asked and one man wondered lmao!!! I appreciate it tho lol thanks man
Now I'm curious if you could just put a white piece of paper in front of the gun, would it see it as a hit?
@@rappnchris if that would work, then it would work on LCD TV's too, I guess.
Am I the only one waiting for the dog laughing.?
Inka Melani I think the dog only came out and left when you lost
Inka Melani i came here for that lmao
I am too ua-cam.com/video/7fkgjgBJKzk/v-deo.html
@@skyfeel3644 thanks
And came here for that
The Zapper Gun consists of a photosensor (to detect brightness/darkness)
When the trigger of the gun is pulled, the game darkens the background to black and flashes the duck (target area) to white after a split second. If you were pointing at the duck, the photosensor would read a change in light intensity and tell the game that you were aiming at the duck. ;)
THANKS
2:16 here
So to use aimbot at that game just shoot at your light bulb
@@suburbanshatters I think it would then compare where you shot (the white spot) to where the duck's coordinates are, if they match / overlap, you hit.
so much technology at the era
Imagine if this game was released in 2017, PETA would absolutely lose their shit about it and demand to remove this game from the stores...
Havoccus literally just thought the exact same thing!!!
The gun would be shown
I've created a new duck hunting game too which would be more attractive and more fun than ever, you can download the game from google play store:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cyberiod.duck.hunting
there are dozens of hunting games on steam... what are you talking about? theres also a newly recreated version of duck hunt called Duck Season PC, it is fully VR compatable and has very good reviews. I dont see anyone losing their shit about anything..
What? Do you even game bro? What an idiotic comment. Go check the steam library hahaha
1:25 I really like the music for this part
My dad was a real old-fashioned guy who grew up in the seventies, and he had NO idea about video games. So every time he'd come in and see us playing Fallout or something, he would ALWAYS bring up about Duck Hunt with the plastic gun and the dog that would come out and laugh at you. I really miss him, truly an OG gamer.
Omfg. . . this.
So many memories. The sound effects are so epic in so many ways. Arf, Arf, Arf!
This game is not only symbolic of nostalgia but also for technological advancements. Making a flash pistol with photosensors and creating the feeling of a realistic game all back in the 80's was really something outstanding! Nintendo was really a step forward in gaming technology back then.
Childhood memories...
This is my favourite NES game before mario and zelda
It means this is the number one...
Stupid always saying childhood child.....
So nostalgic....I played this do much as a kid. Oh how the many years fly by...I'll always cherish this game.
my childhood here in a freaking nutshell. i remember opening my NES on Christmas in like ‘86.
This was so far ahead of its time in early 1990s.
The best thing was your friend could control the duck
this is probably the only comments section on youtube with no kids purely because of this game...just ugh such good memories I remember going back to the store to buy that gun controller because the one I got didn't work anyway
this game+mario=my childhood
Im a kid
I’m 17 but this game along with Contra will always be one of my best childhood games, and what’s funny is that I didn’t know I was playing an NES this whole time.
THIS MASTERPIECE NEEDS A NEW UPDATE
Basically Not homeless
And a new game!
now in VR. Duck Season

Duck season is nothing like duck hunt

@@Kadunkpsh it kinda is if you never shoot the dog so he dont attack you.
I feel like this game could have an interesting sequel for Switch. They could add in a controller similar to how they did with the toycon, that involves putting one joycon in a toy gun. If they added in more stages, that actually increase in difficulty, add in new types of ducks that have their own gimmicks, add in new maps that each have their own gimmicks, such as fog that makes it harder to see, electricity that can strike the ducks and disintegrates them, and darkness which makes it where you have to use two joycons, one to operate a flashlight and one to operate the gun, add in some ducks that are faster than the other ducks you are shooting at, give some of them more hp, make some where you can only shoot in the head, etc. Also, add in online competitive multiplayer, where you have to try to shoot more ducks than the opponent.
Daaaaamn...this took me waay waaaay back...this is some next level nostalgia. I remember playing this game, Super Mario and a few others like all the time, sometimes even without sleeping lol, this shit was wild.
0:24 They're both blue/purple and then they're green when the dog picks them up
Flower 34 they can’t be that lazy just for a one colored sprite
the blood from shot wound change their color
probably more to do with the cartridge space limitations of the time.
Awesome, childhood days with the old classic Nintendo games.
I showed this to my young nieces awhile back, so they could see what video games were like when my sister and I were kids.
I got a pair of horrified looks and cries of, "That's so cruel to ducks, Auntie Kari!! What a mean game!"
😂😂😂😂
Todays kids will probably never experience the true feeling of playing these kinda games. Good old times. Now most 12 year olds play fortnite...
That's not completely true. I may be younger, but I think Fortnite is trash, and these old games are jewels!
Dude. Not all young 11/12 year old kids play Fortnite including me. These classic NES games are really good. My favorite game on the NES is Mother/Earthbound Beginnings
Not true at all, I have a NES, and a Nintendo 64, and I am 13, I don’t understand why everyone thinks we don’t like retro games.
I would probably play fortnite over this game. And I don't even play fortnite
Lazy 80s/90s kids that are now parents to blame.
I never thought I would be able to see this again in my life, no words to describe the memory & days related this.
i remember playing this game as a kid, so much fun
Fun fact: As a kid, I thought the HAL Labs logo was the Duck Hunt Dog as a puppy in a duck nest with three eggs, one of them which would hatch into his duck friend that would follow him around in Smash.
So much awesomeness with frustration on this game.
*playing duck hunt* yeah! This is so awesome! *misses* oops *dog laughs* =_=
!! Oh boy. Don't miss one again! >_
Lol
***** XDDDD
Mog the Last moogle how can i play this game if i dont have a nes?? now a days
I still remember this game.I had played this game 15yrs back.i use to win always.
It was always mean when you used the other controller to control the ducks. It was truly evil and don't forget about the clay shoot.
When i was a kid i was blown away when i discovered duck hunt is a two player game you can control the duck with second controller.
No way is this true coz I can’t find my 14 year old game station now to check this fact 😭
This game was so fun as a kid, I hope nintendo brings this back.
I remeber this game now!! I used to play it with my brothers and my cousins whenever my parnets would have get toghters with my aunts and uncles
UA-cam recommendations working its magic, outstanding! Thank you for sharing!
This is my childhood, but now all new games takes the place but i want it to play
I love this game, I wish it would come out for the wii. Duck Hunt was the best, good ol classic fun.
My childhood days, i will never forget them
i remember my mom bought me this as a gift for being top in class
and u failed in the next semester
Did the dog come out of the cartridge, kill your mom and attack you?
@@joeylogano6133 duck season reference ?
16 years ago.. just wow. THIS IS INCREDIBLY NOSTALGIC.
16? I had this game at least 30 years ago 😂
@@AnaSpeirs This must be really nostalgic, more nostalgic than normal. I think it's a good feeling, I hope your current and present memories are engraved in your mind as very good memories.
@Itsofly I remember going to Toys R Us with my mom to get the Nintendo as a reward for a straight A report card. She didn't want to spend that much money, but a promise is a promise. I didn't expect to get two games on one cartridge, nor the gun for Duck Hunt, but it ended up being one of my favorites! Wow, good, wholesome times 😊
@@AnaSpeirs These are such beautiful memories, it must be nice to live in these times.I'm happy for you. 😊
The first games I've played.

Probably the first game I played. Back in 89 at the age of two. How well I played I cannot say. But family members have pictures of me playing it.
@@Mirokuofnite What was this game played on? I used to play it but I can't remember? Was it Ps2 or not?
I'm 18 and remember playing this as a little kid on the NES we had.
Man this was so much fun, the ducks speeded up the longer it went on 😀
Thank you for sharing this game and give me a chance to remember my child golden memories. That time was so damn clean, clean as a whistle. Thank you admin. Lots of love 💕 for you. These days never come again. It was 1996 summer holidays when I first time played this game. 😇
Can we say that this was our first virtual reality game ❤️❤️
Wow...Christmas morning in 1986 playing this...great memories.
When I played this game when I was a kid ,I connected the gun and just started shooting....but I failed all the time....after some days I came to know that we have to point to the duck on the TV in order to kill the ducks....such a boy I was.....Now I miss my childhood so much !!!!😍😍😍😍
It is just found that when the transparent plate with photo-detector matrix is installed before TV
screen, the shooting game gun, which projects light beam through LED lense, could work on
LCD/OLED screen with instant and precise aiming.
Only after this game... We 90's kids first time feel themselves a real shooter..,☺️
When i used to play this game in the childhood, I used to touch front of gun to the TV Screen to get bird kill in one shot... :-) Miss those days !!! Is anyone know any Gun Accessory which is compatible with NES emulators on PC / Mac ?
You can use a mouse for that.
Ok. but i wish i could attach some sort of Gun accessory to Mac.
+Mrprockworld Get a NES+game+gun and plug it into your damn TV!!
HD TV's don't register the light gun
Find a good ole' tube, worth it!
The nostalgia is REAL!!!
Reading all the comments just goes to show that this game spoke to an entire generation. The best part was the dog laughing when you missed both ducks XD
The NES was my first console! Lot of memories
Me too!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Good Ol' Nintendo!!
One of my earliest memories ever was me playing this game with my brother. Probably 4 or 5 years old around 2004
Anyone watching in 2018 and crying for those old lovely days

i was 8 when I got my Nintendo 1987 missed the 80's
Unless you were a kid when this came out you will never understand how awesome this console was. Imagine having everything included in one box...the console...2 controllers 2 games and a gun. This was all you needed as a kid. Every parents basement had a tv and attached to it was the NES. Take me back right now! And btw i just farted
You could also buy the Powerpad for games like Track and Field
This brought me so much comfort!
Probably the only game that the whole world knew about and wanted to play.... Back then...
this guy is good
I'm only 19 and I love old school games duck hurt was the first video games I ever playd thank you dad
1984: ZOMG SHOOT THE DOG!!!!!!1
2019: Five million mindless Dog Abuse videos and a trailer with Banjo & Kazooie
Soo nostalgic, i was a little boy when i plays that game.
Not sure, never had the patience to get that far.
Duck hunt was released in April 21 1984 making it the very first shooting game ever made.
Anyone here in 2019 after nintnendo announced the trailer for banjo and kazooie in smash
But duck hunt was trolling us all along
Me ! 😂
Me and brothers played this game all the time. We still have them.
Literally everyone: OMG SHOOT THE DOG CAUSE HE LAUGHED AT US!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Me: Aww look, the dog’s laughing! How cute!

Thank god somebody made a cheaper version of NES back in the days so i had the honor to play this game and Super Mario Bros. Because i could've never afford a NES, but the nostalgia now is priceless.
Like if you came here after see that the dog is playable in super smash bros AND this game where part of your childhood
It's impressive how they got motion controls already in the nes era
MY CHILDHOOD GAME !!! :')
12 Years later UA-cam recommends this to me
Tantas lembranças, que saudade da minha infância!
The dog laughs so hardly when we miss 😂
And still thinking about Atari gun
How it's actually working?
Me too
When you pull the trigger whole screen goes black momentarily except ducks' hitboxes. You can see it if you watch the video very carefully. Atari gun has a lens and a sensitive photo receptor. If you point your gun to a duck and pull the trigger your lens captures the white light from the hitbox and you kill the duck.
@@sezeryuksel6191 wow, you answered the question that puzzled me for 25 years!
Oh god the music and visuals reminded me of us shooting these ducks on a CRT TV and playing these games until me and my cousins starting arguing about who's going next. We would get mad and end up playing outside and climbing trees and riding bikes all across the apartment complex.
awwww so beautiful times =)
