When you port to twin falls you immediately turn and go south to the hive , go over the top of the map and circle round to the hive , you can sometimes get up to 5 hero's up there for what an extra 10 second run to the hive . Just to let any newcomers know , way more efficient to go round :)

Hey Pohx, I think Nemesis hunting is better for Legendarys then the rogue like dungeons (which are pretty good for Epics, not so much for legs). Also, Cinder Wastes is a pretty cool new area with 3 bosses inside the rift, some elites and a treasure trove. AND it constantly spawns the new chthonian Nemesis
Love my Conjurer, it's similar to Cabalist but less squishy I've found. Doom Bolts optional, as the pets just do it all for me. Oh and spam that curse tied to shepherd's devotion or something like always. Honestly Occultist pairs so well with anything pet wise that dreeg and curse alone are so good. Thanks for the upload!
there's one more way not shown here what enemies hold they might drop it with a higher chance. Example if your looking for huntsman or marksman rifle go kill the onse holding it beaskins speciffically trolls heroes that hold rifles. 2nd example If your looking for shields kill the warden or shield weilding heroes enemies.
What i like in this game more than POE is the reason to play multiplayer. POE, it just buffs the monster health without adding much drops. Just makes the game more difficult for everyone. But Grim Dawn, each person get different instanced loot. Essentially 100% loot drops per person.
for POE i thought each person added to group adds +50% quantity of drops? I mean, if this game is +100% it is mathematically better obviously but the grouping in poe is still pretty worth it. Especially if one of the people is a aurabot
it's not lol. There are way too many useless items that benefit no builds. And about 80% or more of rares are straight trash. So far playing Grim Dawn i haven't felt this way about gearing. Every drop im checking stats and finding upgrades as I progress my character. It just feels so much better.

Grim Dawn is primarily a single-player experience, PoE is fundamentally online multiplayer. Multiplayer games with integrated trading have always had worse drops. They have to. Just look at D3 for an example - the drops in that game got way better only when they also removed the auction house. And, in case you bring it up, PoE's solo-selffound mode changes nothing either - they can't mess with the drops there as the ease of switching out of it means that it'd create a ready way to game the market. Grim Dawn, for its part, also may as well be more rewarding since, being an offline-compatible game, it also has modding integration that allow you to essentially twink your characters however you want anyway. If Grim Dawn had terrible loot, most players would just bypass the loot system entirely using mods, which kills the loot grind that keeps such games alive. PoE has no such concerns.
I have a couple of 85ish toons that I've been looking to just get old set pieces for like Warborn, Markovian, Dreeg, etc; but I noticed that after a certain level, we are only getting Mythical things. Which is not useful when I am using a higher level toon to farm and transfer stuff over to a lower level one. Not realy related, but just griping.
Good run through. You can pretty easily run Steps of torment fast, so I like that dungeon a lot. It had 3 bosses and loads of hero mobs. Though the last boss Alakos, is a total pain in the butt.
not sure but cant you turn off certain loot so you only see the higher rare items to drop? That way at that high level you don't need to see green drops, etc.
cool, i have no nemesis yet, but good tips. ha i didnt know that mad queen was there. i just have the stock game and a 81 ranged but i think my range is kinda weak i made a melee and it is so much easier.. but ya im just all self found gear so my guys arent perfect but ya its a fun game.

Honestly, the drop rate for legendaries is WAY TOO LOW. I mean, I completely understand that if they drop too much, then it's cheapening them. On the other hand, the odds of getting one at all is low already. The odds of getting one that ACTUALLY works for your build is extremely tiny. I've found maybe 10 legendaries in total after about 100 HOURS of play, and only one of them even kinda sorta works for my build. Honestly, in Elite and Ultimate the drop rates for legendaries needs to be much higher. It's all about the gear, and Grim Dawn is too stingy with the legendary drops, in my opinion.

It goes white- common (useless in all cases), yellow- magic (only use until you have greens), green- rare (either random or specific stats, always useful), blue- epic (specific stats, not necessarily better than greens or worse than purples), purple- legendary (the items you build your character around). Greens are great for filling gaps in your build because they can have almost anything on them. Blues are good but are often overshadowed by legendaries.

so what is the method? u just go around farming hero mobs hoping they will drop a legendary? no magic find gear or anything like that? that's not a method. that's just normal farming and hoping.
I really don't see the appeal of this game. I started playing from the very beginning early release, long before official. It really isn't that good. I got bored with it quick, unlike PoE which I still enjoy.
It depends on the build you choose and if you are playing with a friend. I agree it's not as fun as PoE but you can only play so much of the same game. It's better than Torchlight 2, Van Helsing, and maybe Victor Vran.
Depth and "end-game content" are not pre-requisites for a game to not be casual. There are very simple (shallow) games that are extremely difficult (and ergo, not casual)

Yeah, was about to say. PoE grouping gives quant. Whether the added meat is worth the quant though is up to you.

At lvl 45ish steps is a long ass run and no joke..

uniques yes, but MI ( Monster Infrequents ) are a no, Unless that base type of monster also exists in the expansion content.
