Beautiful!!!! I did one with the silver bowls last year too. I painted silver where the plates connected because somehow I could see the wood 🤷🏽♀️. I added fairy lights to it that got from Amazon. I will try the 2nd one you made ❤️

Another thing you can use for your base is insulation that you can purchase at the Home Depot. It is about $20 for an 8 foot 54 foot sheet. That was enough for me to do six windows. I believe you can also buy the insulation in a 4 x 4 sheet and I assume that would be about half the price. All the rest of the directions are the same as yours. The benefit of using the insulation is extremely lightweight. I live in an apartment and I attached mine to the wall with command strips and had no problem taking them down when I was ready to leave. I agree with you. This is a great project.
