Today, we're tackling an issue many of you face on the ladder: How to beat Pala Rifle as Orc? Join me as we face a Human opponent that goes for this dreaded strategy, and let's try to dismantle it!
IDK if you have some background editors, but you do an excelent and dedicated job as well, keep on the road my friend! I will always see you new uploads and twitch streamings (as far as I get into school again)
Fish as an upcoming Singaporean player who has been quite active recently. His entertaining & unorthodox playstyle caught my attention. I guess he is pretty young (don't know anything about him, than the flag and saw him in several wc3 replays/livestreams) and still needs to find the ease to take home victories, when he has a strong early, surprising his opponents. I love this meta-breaking style (not in this game particularly, but go watch some of his other games).
Even with godlike Grubby micro and skills, this was a tough battle. Basically confirmed how good Pala Rifle is and why low-medium levels struggle with it.
Sweet game Grubby! I'm half a year behind on the games, but I WILL watch every one of WC3 1 on 1! Thank you for your passion, patience and explanations. Wp.
Yeah beating a strong opponent is good even if you have the right strategy. Hopefully we mere mortals will not always be paired against as strong a player as the human player in this video
kodos take up a lot of space and are slow. You might eat 3-4 rifles but by the time the second row of kodos arrives to eat, the first kodos will be dead. The first row of kodos will also be blocking the second.
If this strat is being played on 'lower levels of the ladder' and Grubby already struggles with it already, how should other players even dare to compete against it :D
Lumbermill upgrades were just a miss, you forgot because the intensity of the micro/macro in that map, or the upgrades were just a waste of resources (useless/not needed) ?
Vs rifle taurens with bloodlust... But catapults are also good. I love build mass hh+cata+TC+shaman its rly strong but i think vs Pala could help troll hero alot of. Big counter vs heal and syphon. I personally dont understand why more pros dont play Like this... If he add some casters to his build it could be rly strong. Grubby has full Hands of work with lower ladder player with this tactic. Almost 22mimutes...
No the player he plays against is quite strong, he is just saying that the Pala Rifle strategy is more common on the ladder, but is not common in pro level play
I wish i had your reflex and your skill , thats right every thing is reachable with try , but if you reading this , telll me some tips how to be fadter , i know 90% is try and try , but that q0% mindset is realy inportant
I know it's hard to play under pressure, but Fish could've done a little better at the start. And what was that base layout? Why invite the orc into your peasants like this???
Completely different upgrade tree and requires you to build a sanctum. Then you need enough spellbreakers to matter otherwise if you only have a couple they will get focus fired to death quickly.
I feel like this is a bad example on how to deal with it because you are against a no name player and he still almost won. You focused 100% because you barely spoke the entire match, and you still just barely won. Title should be, "How to barely just squeeze out a win vs someone you are already much better than ".
"Artillery" is meant to beat buildings and unarmored units (i.e. spellcasters). Ranged DPS resists it. You might as well talk about how depressing it is for a rifle to shoot a mountain giant.
@@BlitkriegsAndCoffee Narrow role is doing huge damage to all casters? lol? And sieging bases and being the only reason mass towers isn't meta? You hearing yourself?

Now please do "How do we beat HH Shaman" with human. Would help a lot :)
How to beat Pala Rifle as Orc?
Be Grubby. 🤷♂️😁👍
be blizzard and buff orc
when he said it was a popular strat at 'lower levels of the ladder'
I took that personally
Facts don't care about your feelings
xd
@@dodekaedius But you care and i like you for that
TC hanging out with riflemen like "alright boys hit the pub after this"
21:32 That lovely sound, Crom is happy.
21:50 And the sound of dying dwarfs, jeje. Exquisite.

Didn't seem easy even with "the counter".. Well played!
riflemen be walkin on flames. scorch em mon!

"I'm gonna show you how to beat pala rifle" > proceeds to macro like a god. Me : okay then :(
Have always loved your play styles and knowledge, continue your amazing work.
Solution- be a micro god and use invulnerability early on TC to get your stomps out.
The opponent was good but there’s no chance for HU when grub is in goodshape
Tough battle Grubby, your opponent played well. Exciting game
Seeing that super sayan elf die is so satisfying.
Dang bro...... That pally rifle combo looks fun to play... Gotta be so frustrating to get all your mana drained only to go to more rifle heals 😆
Great game. It was really nice to see something different. It is interesting to see how different Shamans play when they don't have casters.
Yeah it's easy to forget how busted Bloodlust is
id also be interested to beat orc with pala rifles
Even with godlike Grubby micro and skills, this was a tough battle. Basically confirmed how good Pala Rifle is and why low-medium levels struggle with it.
Oppo played well though
Grubby.... first showing the problem... then selling the antidote 😂

How to beat PALA RIFLE as Orc? Grubby: Just be way better than the other player :)
Damn grubby schooled him 😮 👊
with beard looks better, master Grubby
To beat pala rifle you have to micro farseer hh like you invented it.
K, got it!
...
Cries
Micro on both sides was crazy.
I know they're squishy against rifles, but wouldn't a raider or two have helped against that running paladin? He had no DS and always barely escaped.
This Ice is very good which is mandatory to have a nice game to watch.
Its so entertaining to watch u playing 😊
Truly showed how to beat it but in the same time this video confirms how hard it is and the skill it requires while we are noobs
I think TC with Blade is possible in ganking pre BLood mage training.
Yeah beating a strong opponent is good even if you have the right strategy. Hopefully we mere mortals will not always be paired against as strong a player as the human player in this video
Why didn't the human mix up the tech in his army at all? Surely there would be value mixing in some casters or something?
Why don't you starting attack or armour upgrades Grubby?
Well demonstrated! GG
As a noob I dont understand. Arent grunts supposed to counter rifles as per armor/attack type? Why HH?
Really good game
try with UD when light is a nightmare :)...
if u make enough kodos u can eat all rifles and gg
kodos take up a lot of space and are slow. You might eat 3-4 rifles but by the time the second row of kodos arrives to eat, the first kodos will be dead. The first row of kodos will also be blocking the second.
Day 82 asking Grubby to do a FFA Friday:)
He’s not gonna do it . You’ll be lucky to see one FFA replay on UA-cam for him once a year unfortunately. Wish he would do more though
Bruh, you still here
Day 1763 of asking Grubby to play a BO101 vs Happy marathon stream
that was a great game, very wp

Early ganking with TC and Blade before blood mage was trained.
Grubby if your opponent is fish then you are Aquaman
THANK YOUUUU.
Lumbermill upgrades were just a miss, you forgot because the intensity of the micro/macro in that map, or the upgrades were just a waste of resources (useless/not needed) ?
grubby is a f legend with BDE

God
Bruh you remind me a lot of the Viper from aoe 2
Riffle with no priest and no sorceress. :(
Ok so all you need is super human micro. Np!
why shamans instead of readers ?
Raiders *
@@saimyintmyat9373 thx =) yea I mean raiders =)
Shamans increase dps A LOT, specially when the opponent doesn't have dispell
Grubby says in the video that when Humans don’t have AM & priests, their lack of dispel makes them very vulnerable to bloodlust and lightning shield.
So, in order to beat paladin-rifles as a lower-amateur player, the best strategy is to have pro-level micro and multitask skills. 😮
super game
micro skills seems par of the counter. Not so easy for most of the viewer. Here I am a new pala rifle strat man perfect for low level players like me
It's tod right?
thx u bro
rifles only for 22 minutes

1 pala rifle dislike
May be That is ToD xd.
Wh did Hu not build some breakers. I don't get it

Man is artillery depressing. Barely tickles those Rifles for 3 mins and then dies the second its caught.

@@ihatemylifenot4887 except thats way too narrow a role for a 4 food unit. They need an actual role in fights.
