Aloha! One of my kumu, Leimomi I Maldonado taught slight modifications for kāne dancers and another kumu of mine, Uncle Kimo Keaulana, insists that there is no difference in style for men and women. For this mele, I have not purposefully created the choreography for one or the other. The same style could be for either/both.
