Gordon you're using the SAME knife I use I think!! Its a Solingen blade with an olive wood handle, right?? I bought mine for 93 fkn euros as a PhD student in Tübingen in Germany years ago! It still serves me to this day and I would never trade it for any other knife! Its literally my favourite thing in my flat.

Good tip when you're tormented by hot summers is to make a super spicty hot meal it will somehow trick your body and make you feel cooler, I assume it is becausee you will sweat more. My go to meal doing that is a simple Pasta Bolognese dish with tons of garlic, black pepper and cayene pepper served with chili ketchup and habanero tabasco.

PS: I'm pretty sure that if Ramsay was served this exact dish in a restaurant in Kitchen Nightmare or in Hell's kitchen or in MasterChef he would flip out and say that its shot and whoever cooked it is a donkey.
That's what a real chef does.. creates his unique dishes out of ordinary. You can cut this roasted pumpkin in small pieces and put it inside gravy, mix it up & eat with naan or rice

Secondly the pumpkins look burnt here and he serves them with the skin which we never do. Lastly we cut it up into pieces and put it in the curry because that makes it easier to eat with rice or flatbread. So putting up a whole slice of pumpkin like that makes no sense because you can't eat it so easily with rice and flatbread.

Lastly we cut it up into pieces and put it in the curry because that makes it easier to eat with rice or flatbread. So putting up a whole slice of pumpkin like that makes no sense because you can't eat it so easily with rice and flatbread.
That was a vey inventive and pretty way to serve curry. I’m surprised he didn’t taste the in-process product though.

What happened
Noticed how he removed the 3 red chilli peppers from the curry in the end. Those impart flavor at the time of cooking and are usually not eaten. Such attention to detail!. Love it!
He already said depends on guest. The dried chillies didn't taken out also fine actually and in fact this is what south east asian do, don't take dried chillies out
