Last May, I had rotator cuff surgery, and it took me out of the whole season 😢 Now I'm ready for tomatoes and onions and eggplant and squash and pumpkins! There are a lot of easy flowers that can be used in salads too my favorite is starflower. It tastes like cucumber. Very pretty in ice cubes too 🙂
Another tip is making Fattoush, a wonderful Lebanese salad using both parsley and mint 🤗
What a cheerful intro! I loved it. I enjoyed learning about things to put in a garden. I haven't had one since the lockdown, since my parents knocked down the one I built in their yard that I was maintaining for years (they live 4 minutes away), so this made me miss it so much.

I had never liked store bought chamomile tea. We grew chamomile a few years ago, and when I tasted one of those fresh flowers I was like man, this isnsome good stuff😆

Hi Lea , thank you for your inspiring video. I am gardening for over 40 years now and love my bird and bee garden. There are lots of birds living and nesting in it and I try to plant flowers and herbs to attract insects as much as possible. Living in the Netherlands the weather is constant changing with a low temperature but every year I make an optimistic start and have a lot of fun trying and working in my happy place. I really think I am plant hospice and am just here to transition them to Jesus… I live in northern Arizona mountains. I do great peppers, my tomatoes did nothing last year, my herbs are hit or miss. Our weather swings so much from hot day to cold night. We aren’t supposed to plant anything until after Mother’s Day. I am looking forward to reading your information, you seem to be able to break it down so it’s easier to understand! Thank you!

Hi! I was wondering if you have a beginners guide to harvesting,drying, and grinding herbs. I am new to growing herbs, and I would like to dry them for teas and for later use in meals. I don't know where to start 😅
I also get confused about ground cover plants. Can they go in with things like tomatoes, peppers etc? Or are they only talking decorative to fill in large areas of dirt? Do they cover the roots of what you are trying to grow (like the veggies and herbs) or do they help?
