I am a police officer in a major city. I am going through the same feelings of wanting to be more healthy and self sufficient. I retire in a couple years and hope to be able to get a small rural property somehow. Neighbors and local governments, bureaucrats, they are all petty tyrants. So happy to see you living your best life and on your own terms. God bless.
Uhm started a text and an ad came on and my text disappeared into outer space 🚀. Oh well my point was country living is what I want until I die.small towns are busy bodies, yet the perks are they are friendly enough to get along with and if you loose a child or pet. "How little value stuff really had..." I replayed that segment several times because it's so profound. People work like slaves to aquire stuff only for it to hold no value in the end. I encourage all who read this to watch the BBC documentary The Century of the Self. It explains how we became a society of consumers. Lost my dad about 6months ago. Tried selling all his tools and machinery, cars and other assets. This is when I realized how hard he worked to aquire all this and how little value it had. Even the new items still in the boxes with only the guarantee expired had lost more then 50 to 70% of the value. Over 60 years of acquisition and worth hardly anything. Its been 2 years that I have been thinking of breaking free but this was a wake up call for me.
I'm sorry to hear about your father. I experienced the same with the loss of my parents. I kept an attic full of my moms things for 15 years only for it then to end up in the landfill.
@@theaeroponictowerchannel Oh my goodness I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have had most of my late parents things in storage since 2016 incurring costly storage costs only to now realise I do not much care for any of the items and I have just started to clear it out, though it is proving a challenge. Finally realised I couldn't sell some of the furniture items so had a charity collect them. I have 75 boxes in total and only managed to clear one box last week so it may take a while!
My wife and I are wanting this break away from the hustle of life. We have always found ourselves working more and making more money. But when is it enough? How much is enough? I think being born in the consumer mindset is a trap of the soul. My wife has the experience of food and livestock from FFA in high-school and always seems to be inspired by it. My experience with mechanics and construction with her expertise is a perfect duo of knowledge. I think this will be worth a conversation soon. Just break away the shackles and live off the land. I have to say after all the channels I’ve been through to find one that is relatable to who I am and where I am in life but to also find inspiration and learn. You nailed the mindset, thought process and experience. I live in the PA Mountains, originally a city girl lol from Cleveland, Ohio. We tend to think we want the things: house, car, career the lifestyle until it doesn’t want you for who you authentically are. I’ve never made a comment before on a Channel but i’m inspired. Thank you
It's great to hear from like-minded people looking for similar things. Our souls are happy with the changes we've made in our lives. In the future we will reap what we have planted in our lives today.
Ive always lived with exactly what I need and no more. I was born that way(husband too) I was an independent housekeeper for 20 years and I was floored how most of my clients had stuff. Basements filled, closets packed, garages overflowing To much of everything Ive always lived free of clutter or excess I think the whole world will eventually end up wanting less and needing nothing We also grow our own food. Happy for you and your family
This is the American dream! I long to live a more simple life! I also cleared out 90% of our kitchen, and it's crazy how freeing it actually is! We started on all the closets now!
This was so beautiful to watch. It calmed me from a terrible day in the office today. You are living my dream. I only wish my husband was on board with it, as well.
Hello from Central Florida (a native) lol. We are surrounded by the Villages but I live on about 10 acres and then have a couple hundred acres around of woods and pastures. Truly a rare find in this part of Florida. I am living in the house my dad built and i grew up in. I have so far 2 greenhouses and many raised beds to grow food.. I am finding I want less of the world to be impending its dark voices so I can hear the Lord more and feel peace. Thank you for you videos.
What a blessing to have that space in Florida! That is a rare find. I feel the same about the quiet and hearing the Lord. So many intentional distractions to keep us from what is really important.
Love your story. Totally my thoughts on life. I landed on living tiny by other circumstance but here I am in 400 sq feet. It’s been 4 years now and I’m still learning . We are in Wisconsin so the ability to grow year round is not there. However, tower garden on the inside may be an option. I miss space sometimes but in my situation, I think I’m where God wants me. I’m older, and health is an issue. Learning to live with less “ things” more of God is what I feel we need.
Dawn, health does not need to be an issue any longer. God has promised to heal ALL our diseases, in Psalm 103:3. It's one of the benefits of believing in God.
Thank you for sharing your story. Very inspiring. I keep feeling the same urgency. Waiting on the Lord’s timing. We’re no longer tied to anything, just waiting on Him. So thank you for sharing. Very timely💕
Just be happy y’all I’ve bought my own cabin and it’s off grid and it’s easy and free that’s where I’m gonna retire and have a garden too it is my inner peace when I’m there too 🙏🏻🇺🇸😀
We cover our tomatoes like a tent with plastic when a storm is coming in. They don’t split but you have to take the plastic of right away so the sun doesn’t burn the plants.
A lovely story - I am a senior going through this process as well. I feel so inspired by everyone’s story and process. I have a September challenge of getting rid of 100 items. Next month will be the same. I have so far let go of 55 items. Its a process as you say and not putting too much pressure on myself to let go but its also a mindset as well. Love you story - keep the videos coming. Thanks so much! ❤Sollena
It is a process for sure. I had a hard time letting go of my clothes initially. I heard someone say to put them in a bag in another closet first then in a few months see how you feel. That worked for me. By the time I remembered the bag I had forgotten what was in it and just donated the whole bag. That method helped my children too.
The Lord has been calling me on a mission to declutter, reduce/minimize and simplify my life for the last four years now.. it is really a difficult process because ‘things’ have had such a hold on me! As you said, we work hard to accumulate all the ‘things’ we think we need in life, only to get to the point where we don’t want to be a ‘slave’ to these things, and we get the desire to rid ourselves of them. This whole idea really hit me when my own aging parents sold their home to move into a senior apartment to not have the work of maintaining a home.. and l saw the process of trying to clean out a small home, and sell things not wanted or needed, and then they tried to give things to their children.. and then they gave me a truck load of stuff to take to the thrift store, and finally they moved the rest of their ‘stuff’ into my sisters basement.. this is where it’s been for six years! ..and l vowed that l would NOT do this to my kids! And l knew that l needed to start getting rid of stuff, and reduce the things l had. It’s been a slow process, starting with cleaning out the possessions my five children left behind when they moved out! I want to downsize, and we’ve been trying to find some land to homestead on.. we have a half acre in a small town and have been increasing our garden space yearly for the last four years, but just don’t have the room to do what we want. I find it really interesting that the Lord seems to be calling His people to this lifestyle 💗
Just found your channel. When my husband retired we sold our house and started living in our RV and traveling. We traveled for 15 years and now we’ve settled in north Florida. Our girls live here and medical issues have taken over our life. I’m interested in growing more of our produce
15 years! How amazing!! I'm sorry there are health issues. You can message me here if you want to chat about growing more produce. theaeroponictowerchannel.com/landing-page/
I always feel so good for people, who have found happiness in their lives. It seems that we all have to find that simple life for ourselves. So happy for you. God bless you.🙏💓
I just found your Channel, tonight. It is delightful to hear where you have been and where you are now. I am a Senior and was raised on a Ranch in Colorado. We had two gigantic gardens one for Veggies and one for flowers. I love growing things. I now live in an Apartment with a six ft Benjamin Ficus, and a gorgeous Tropical plant that flowers. I yen for the great outdoors and having a garden again. I will be able to afford a nice place soon. But your remarks tapped the brakes for me. I don't want too much to care for. I do want Vegetables, fruit Shrubs & Trees. Country living away from people. As Henry David Thoreau said: "Simplify, Simplify, Simplify"! At my Age I am still learning that truism! I like how you deleted the excess in your Life. I did that in my Marriage. Went from 3 Br, 2 Bth, Porsche, Saab, Sailboat, Jeep, etc. One kid, two dogs, and a Mortgage. We sold it all and hit the road in a 23' Avion Travel Trailer. We did that for six years. Then ended up in Salmon, ID flying the back-country for Big Game Hunters and Whitewater Rafting. Another House, 2 Acres, and a Big Garden. I canned everything, created Chutney Recipes with the excess. I made Sauerkraut, homemade Bread, Yogurt, etc. Brutal winters, short grow season, made the best of it. Then to the Big City - Spokane, another house, no garden. I created one with horse manure, Straw mulch, etc. Loved it had great flowers. Brutal Winters, cross country skied, white water rafted. Divorce. Lived there for another 9 years. Then I moved to Florida, now wanting out of here, so many people, and so many rules in HOA's Brutal Experiences there. I like where you have landed, and I know it feels great. I was wondering about the Tower Gardens I was so surprised to see you turning the tomatoes around on a lazy Susan!! Whew! That is neat. Congratulations on landing where you are happy. I guess that is what I will be looking for. Not much upkeep, privacy, NO HOA's EVER AGAIN! I like the no lawn idea, low maintenance. Thank you for such a pleasant Video. Trudy
Thank you for sharing your story! I have a feeling you would like this area when you decide to move. We are North of Asheville. Lots of people living simple lives in small homes and wild herb filled yards.
It's very nice story , your cabin is so beautiful and the place is very 🕊️ peaceful ❤❤ love your garden 🏡 and your way of living 💞 thank you so much love your video ❤❤🎉🎉
What a nice story. So happy for you and your family. I'd love to do the same, but my husband and son don't. I try to simplify from where we are. I love your videos. They're always interesting and calming. So informative, and help me with tower growing tips. Thank you! It's good you listened to God's directing.
WELL DONE congratulations for EVERYTHING you have NOW. I am annoyed Those ********* neighbours told on you, shame on them. They are so going to regret it. Never open the door for them when they run out of food. YOU ARE prepared and THEY are NOT.
Your video showcasing the natural beauty and hard work of the people is truly amazing. Your work not only captures the splendor of our world but also honors the dedication of those who make it possible. Thank you for sharing this wonderful journey with us
I found you on here during day 10 no water or power , was very blessed to have resources salvaged , Thanks for Sharing this life style . nothing more beautiful than a Red Headed American Woman living best life .
My dear friend thanks so much for another great video and some great insight. We can work ourselves to death to want. We don’t want to lose sight of enjoying our lives, and being with our family.
My heart is so drawn to living a simpler lifestyle and being able to get back to growing and preserving my own food again. Love your channel! Thank you for sharing your journey!
Wow, well done! I also started a minimalistic lifestyle 14 years ago, was travelling the world and now felt like growing my own food as well. I think it's the most important knowledge to keep and share with others, and to become more and more independent of all the things we were told that we need in life. When the only thing we want ad need, is to live a life a peaceful life in, and with nature, protect it, nourish it, and grow our own food. It all comes back to us. I experienced the same thing, how less things are worth. But at least I didn't have to pay to get rid of them, but it makes me think twice what I buy. Being a minimalist and to have good systems makes your life much easier and more enjoyable. I love it also that you teach people how to do that, thats amazing! Much love to you 🌱
Your story resonates with me, as my family too had moved from the city to the countryside for a simpler life. As I watched your video, I gasped at your tower garden as I too grow on a tower - though indoors - since our summer and winter are harsh. You've inspired me to look at more options for this planting style outdoors. Thanks for your lovely video.
You made a huge impact on the quality of life for your family by scaling back. The reasoning behind your decision says a lot about what type of community you want to be surrounded by. My family and I sold everything and also moved into a camper while building a home and farm. We learned a lot of skills and most importantly, the art of living.
When my son graduates from high school, we want to move to North Carolina from Los Angeles. We are both really tired of city life. We pray to have a small, easy, quiet life, hopefully with our own little garden! Hearing that rolling thunder is so beautiful and I can't wait! New subscriber here! Thank you for your videos.
You will love it here! The weather is so amazing. All 4 seasons and none of them brutal so you get to enjoy the change that comes as the seasons shift.
What an inspiration. Thanks for sharing. My life gets simpler and simpler every day. The less you have, the freer you become. I love downsizing and most importantly, growing my own healthy foodnow. There are many different ways to achieve this. You made it so clear to me. In reality we need so little and to live a quiet and simple lifestyle happens gradually and in your head first. It made me very happy to hear it from you and to listen to your story, that is so many peoples story these days. We have to unlearn the old ways and start thinking clearly for ourselves. Thanks a million. Love your story and your place ❤
Thank you SO much! We are in the process of selling everything and moving to the mountains as well! I’m so glad I found your channel and I just subscribed! Thanks again! GOD Bless y’all!🤠💕🌺
Wow I love it. First time I watched your video it's like the Lord has brought it over my feed. I've left a busy life too for a more simple one. Gosh I will not trade my new life for anything. The Lord had put this strongly to grow my own food over my spirit since 2016..am right now waiting for His restoration after a 7 years of wilderness to be made prepared and ready to serve Him... looking forward to reach out to you to get some advices from you. Watching from Mauritius island 🏝️🇲🇺😇😊. Stay blessed
Thank you for sharing your story! I am so glad this is the first video I have seen of yours. The story you are telling of a longing for simpler living and getting back to the basics of living is a familiar one to me. I had a longing for those things back in my 30s and of course, now in my later years, I regret not dropping everything and going for it. You are an inspiration and I look forward to following your journey.
I fell in my Spirit that you are a genuine person and such an inspiration to me. I’ve just started following you and would love to one day meet and connect with you. God bless you and your family.
Thank you this was so encouraging and inspiring, it really gives me the belief that I can achieve this someday. I cannot wait to move out of the city into my farm
Farm life is waiting for me too. I always say two more years, my daughter reminded me I’ve been saying two more years for the last five years lol😢. I have a great paying job but my heart and soul has that void. Nature is healing, I don’t know how much more I can wait . We will see.
Enjoyed watching & listening to you talk about some of your life’s story. Our stories are very similar. Wow! We are into growing our own food & raising our own animals here in eastern South Carolina as well. We also have started a food forest here to. You’re so right, there’s nothing like living the simple life style. God bless you guys. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻🙌🏻😊❤️
Thank you! Food forests are the best! I'm glad you guys found your simple life. I want to go visit Roots and Refuge's homestead store in SC someday when they open.
Really this story made me to rethink and readjust to the minimal things At the end we really don't need so elaborate things and moreover it's difficult to maintain Loved your idea very much inspired thank you 😍
I feel your frustration about HOA nazis. Our story is the same. A neighbor complaining because we were growing vegetables on the side of our house. Then the HOA “ denying us permission to install a privacy fence around round OUR property! Bunch of nonsense.
I also moved out of Nairobi city. Living completely off - grid. This is great journaling. Sharing your life and encouraging me that how to declutter my mind.
I love your story!!! It's my dream to live this way as well and I'm trying to get there. It's a little difficult while being disabled and single but I know I'll get there. ❤
You’re living a great lifestyle! It’s so great to grow your own food. Your story is an inspiration! I also want to grow my own food in the near future. Your story give me so many ideas! Can’t wait! Thank you for sharing.
I had to stop I'm 6:43 mins in and I have to say my immediate thoughts when I clicked on this video was how nice to live like this. When you started talking about the neighbor and how you have changed your thoughts about having to confirm and change things because of the neighbor I was thinking I want something different too,but what about my house and all I've put into it and thought to myself I can make a new home again and feel safer and grow my food still 💕 invite family and friends and entertain/have all that I love about my home here, but somewhere new also. Thankyou for sharing! I feel so many of us feel the same!
Love it you just keep it up you'll be healthier than those around you who are complaining and wish they could look as good as you with all that fresh vegetable coming in God bless you and you take care of the lands and it will take care of you thank you thank you for sharing
Your videos are helping us learn how to grow our food indoors. We want to learn tower garden. Really we want to help people who maybe can’t afford expensive systems.
Shoot me an email if you want to chat more about this! steffmor8@gmail.com I'm working on some others ways to grow indoors as well. Especially cost effective ways to grow mushrooms.
Hello +new subscriber here ❤ I stumbled upon this channel and I am so happy to be here. I had an Urban Garden up until this Spring when my neighbors also started complaining and calling the city etc so I had to take it down. Now I have a small one in my backyard and I must learn more about this system. I admired your entire story and faith. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! Love from Jersey-Mariana
Thank you! I'm sorry they called the city on you. That is so frustrating! If you decide to take the tower plunge there is a link in my videos and I help along the way. They are a great way to bypass most HOA's because they are technically a planter not a "garden".
Wow, you are a true inspiration to me and to many folks out there! We sold everything including our first and only house for 15 years. Now, we have been full-time rv dwellers/ modern pioneers for six years(and counting) since we left the sticks and bricks. We are waiting for the Lord's timing to return on a more permanent dwelling to start farming in pursuant to a "simple life"(for us) providing majority of our needs from our land. Stay blessed and a blessing to those who seeks for your guidance. Thank you for what you do and may the good Lord keep you and bless you for all the days ahead. -Greetings from the Nevada Desert!🤠🏜🏕
simple life i find is more luxurious than complicated lives that afford you luxurious things but no time to appreciate them. just having time to appreciate life is luxury.
Thank you as we also are transitioning, family is hrown & seeking their own road, this is just beautiful, simple! May God bless and continue to protect you.
Que linda história. Amei conhecer. Também moro com você no campo, longe das tentações da modernidade. Estou tentando cultivar nossos alimentos. Obrigada pelo incentivo. Felicidades!
New subscriber here! Absolutely love your story! My story is that two years ago the farm my husband managed was sold and new owners son was going to run it.The three bedroom house we lived in was included with his job so we were now jobless and homeless! We are both on Social Security but not enough to afford a traditional house . We ended up getting a shed to house and are living in it but its far from complete.i went back to work after many years of being out of workforce due to having several spine surgeries
I'm sorry for your struggles! There are a lot of shed home in our area. There are lots of farms in WNC and this area has a lot of Wolfer opportunities.
I have just stumbled across your channel and I love it. I feel I can really relate to you and your aspirations. My husband and I are on the journey of creating a much more simple life together. We have been travelling and living abroad for more than 20 years, chasing $$, chasing dreams that we 'thought we wanted', only to realise these dreams were not wholly our own. So we have brushed off our old habits and we are about to embark on a very new way of living. We are heading home to Australia after 14+ years living abroad, seeking to create our own small off grid home where we can live a more wholesome lifestlye. Thank you for sharing your journey, processes and experiences. I love it already!
How wonderful that y’all have been able to do this. My partner and I have put a lot of thought into living a simpler life! We are both close to 70, and it all just seems overwhelming. Still could happen, but boy do I wish I would have had this idea about 10 years ago.
Beautiful garden and bountiful a harvest. The set up is similar to villages in In South Africa. Growing own food is healthy and cost effective. Enjoy the healthy lifestyle !!!
We are feeling the same right now.we have rented a house ten years love it .but we are older now.and know its not ours and the rents going up by 150 pound we are at our max nothing left for liveing.so we decided to leave heart wrenching.but also under stand about what personal belongings we have aquired along thr way .costing thousands getting hundreds back.done half the house half to go .but has to be done .onwards and upwards see where life takes us .thank you for your video x
I am moving to a cabin in Eastern KY. Ironically it’s very similar to the cabin I just sold closer to Nashville, but a much better layout and much smaller yard and price. It needs work, but it will be done with cash instead of just never being done because it’s unaffordable.
Congratulations! One of the things I also let go of was the idea of a perfectly finished home. This cabin has some wonky things. It has some unfinished aspects and missing door knobs....because we can't find a replacement that fits....but those things don't really matter. I agree affordable and slowly finished is way better!
I’ve lived in C. FL for 20 years. We just bought land up in NW Alabama to live a much less chaotic lifestyle. Florida is so crowded now. Also like you said, neighbors call on you. I had code Enforcement out to my house to get rid of my hens because a neighbor called. We live in an HOA and even though it’s only $295 a year, I feel like I don’t own my house . And now that everything has BioEngineered on the labels , I want to grow and make my own foods. I’m trying to downsize . I’ve always loved growing food but my yard is maxed out here . I’m very excited for the change
You are smart to make the change! The food is really going to change dramatically over the next 5 years. I'll be sharing more on this channel on how to grow mushrooms and mini fruit trees and all my ways of maxing out what we grow without breaking the bank and body.
I love everything about this video. I sat here and strung my popcorn garland and watched as you told stories of a simple life with a calming video to go with it. wonderful :)
I love tomatoes and my mom used to call me little Mater when she was alive and I just stumbled on this channel and have hit subscribe and the like button and I live in North Carolina and I'm trying to sell all my stuff and slim down so I can become light with my for animals and move somewhere out of the city away from the aggressive people and the bad energy and oh my goodness I'm tearing up reading everybody's comments and I'm praying for everybody to get to better places in Better Health and feeling good and just taking the time to smell the flowers and enjoy this video that is very uplifting in a world that is not❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ thank you and what a beautiful life I think we are all enjoying you sharing it with us😊🎉🎉🎉❤
@theaeroponictowerchannel oh thank you you are so sweet and I will pray for you that everything goes smoothly on your wonderful Homefront that is inspiring many and soothing to so many more people. Namaste 🙏🏽
I am so happy I happened upon your channel when i did. I live in So Cal in a 33 ft RV and have just purchased an acre property in Eastern TN. I am originally from FL. I am at the point where I want to start getting myself organized and doing the leg work now so I can hit the ground running. I have grown up gardening but got caught up in life and want that simple life. I would love to talk with you about the easiest way to start. I want to do the chickens, fruit trees etc. I loved your comment about wanting everything BIG - i walk in those shoes too, lol but trying to remind myself to take it easy .................
What a great journey you have ahead of you! I have learned you can get a lot more food and save a lot of money by going small and precise. I'd love to help you on your journey. I'll be sharing my mushroom growing video soon too.
God bless.
You will love the peace and quiet! Blessings on your journey!
Well said, sir.
You deserve a rest now and the enjoyment of the kind of life you want. All the best to you. Go for it.

@bsmartcoaching Thank you for the documentary recommendation on BBC....watching it now!👌🏾
Me too! I replayed it twice because I am in the middle of selling a large chunk of my 'stuff' and can relate!!
That is true have to much that is not nice There are people that need things and we can share ❤ living sample life is better and more happiness 😊

@homeygardener I lived in Elyria then Avon lake. Now I’m In SE part of Ohio
What a small world, I’m from Cleveland also, I totally agree!! I live in South Carolina now.
We're in Floyd county Virginia after leaving Winston Salem NC-parallel lives/awakening souls!
It's great to hear from like-minded people looking for similar things. Our souls are happy with the changes we've made in our lives. In the future we will reap what we have planted in our lives today.
God is so faithful! Keep the world and give me Jesus! Love your cozy home!

Same! Way to go!
Fake? Not fake. Just have to downsize and decide what's important. Stuff or sanity. Sometimes less truly is better.
You have such a soothing voice and I love the way you mentioned God in your video.
Thank you so much!
This was so beautiful to watch. It calmed me from a terrible day in the office today. You are living my dream. I only wish my husband was on board with it, as well.
I'm sorry you had a terrible day! I'm glad it was calming for you.
It's hard when one wants the life and your husband wants to stay in the city.
I want to get away and wife wants the city life 🤦🏻♂️
Hello from Central Florida (a native) lol.
You can't loose if the goal is more God and less stuff!!
I'm right there with you, same!
Dawn, health does not need to be an issue any longer. God has promised to heal ALL our diseases, in Psalm 103:3. It's one of the benefits of believing in God.
@@elizabethsydnor5247 I have a faith, I’ve just never asked for healing. Just for God to walk with me.
When our World is going in the wrong directions that's the smartest thing to do. Congratulations ❤️
Thank you for sharing your story. Very inspiring. I keep feeling the same urgency. Waiting on the Lord’s timing. We’re no longer tied to anything, just waiting on Him. So thank you for sharing. Very timely💕
His timing is the best timing so you are smart to wait!
@@theaeroponictowerchannel oh wow, thank your for taking time to respond. I didn’t expect that. Blessings to you and your family.😉
Yes God's timing I am doing the same.
Just be happy y’all I’ve bought my own cabin and it’s off grid and it’s easy and free that’s where I’m gonna retire and have a garden too it is my inner peace when I’m there too 🙏🏻🇺🇸😀
Good for you!! This lifestyle is for sure peaceful.
We cover our tomatoes like a tent with plastic when a storm is coming in. They don’t split but you have to take the plastic of right away so the sun doesn’t burn the plants.
hearing the approaching storm as you picked tomatoes was so neat....i love summer storms.
That is fantastic…I am a pretty hardcore minimalist…I don’t have much in the way of stuff, but if I do buy anything two items have to go out…👍🏽
Happy harvesting...love your video...
You're welcome
Just found your channel. When my husband retired we sold our house and started living in our RV and traveling. We traveled for 15 years and now we’ve settled in north Florida. Our girls live here and medical issues have taken over our life. I’m interested in growing more of our produce
15 years! How amazing!! I'm sorry there are health issues. You can message me here if you want to chat about growing more produce. theaeroponictowerchannel.com/landing-page/

Amen!!! Thanks for watching!
I love your harvest basket you have sitting on the table and collected the tomatoes with.
Thanks! Thrift store find. It's perfect for tomatoes.
I always feel so good for people, who have found happiness in their lives. It seems that we all have to find that simple life for ourselves. So happy for you. God bless you.🙏💓
yes! I pray peace and contentment and true happiness for people.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. So very inspiring. Blessings 🙋🏼♀️🇦🇺

What a nice story. So happy for you and your family. I'd love to do the same, but my husband and son don't. I try to simplify from where we are. I love your videos. They're always interesting and calming. So informative, and help me with tower growing tips. Thank you! It's good you listened to God's directing.
Thank you!

It is taking me a heck of a lot of work to even try to live a simpler life -but worth it. Thank you for the inspiration.
So true! I always joke that simple living is a lot of work!
This is so inspiring! I 💜 my tower garden and look forward to more freedom
Thank you! I'm glad to hear you love your Tower Garden! They are the best!
Much love to you 🌱
Well said! I'm glad you have been able to experience the same freedom.
You're blessed ❤❤❤
Thats a life even millions dont have .
Thank you! The towers have been a game changer for me. I grow SO much food. I grow indoors in the winter as well.
You made a huge impact on the quality of life for your family by scaling back. The reasoning behind your decision says a lot about what type of community you want to be surrounded by. My family and I sold everything and also moved into a camper while building a home and farm. We learned a lot of skills and most importantly, the art of living.
I love how you call it "the art of living". So true!! I'm glad your family was able to make the change as well.
Yes me too “the art of living”
Thank you for your sweet words! It is a journey with many layers, but you are correct that it starts in the head first.
Love you girl, thanks for taking time to respond. Life is simple and beautiful just by itself. Wishing you much happiness and health ❤

What a great testimony you have! I look forward to connecting!
You need to do a house tour! I know it’s cute! I like your story!
Thanks! I plan to soon!
Thank you so much!
I’m 70 years old and have always wanted to live like you. I just might get my chance soon! I can’t wait to have chickens, only 3! LOL
I fell in my Spirit that you are a genuine person and such an inspiration to me. I’ve just started following you and would love to one day meet and connect with you. God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much!! That was very sweet.
Thanks for a great chitchat and some great insight. See you in the next video.
Thank you this was so encouraging and inspiring, it really gives me the belief that I can achieve this someday. I cannot wait to move out of the city into my farm
Farm life is waiting for me too. I always say two more years, my daughter reminded me I’ve been
saying two more years for the last five years lol😢.

Sorry! That is so frustrating.
I also moved out of Nairobi city.
Living completely off - grid. This is great journaling. Sharing your life and encouraging me that how to declutter my mind.

What a great video. Thank you for sharing your story. This is THE life!
Thanks for sharing your story it's motivating me because it's the life I dream of when I retire❤
You can do it!!
Love it you just keep it up you'll be healthier than those around you who are complaining and wish they could look as good as you with all that fresh vegetable coming in God bless you and you take care of the lands and it will take care of you thank you thank you for sharing

Love from Jersey-Mariana
same here very relatable story and so inspiring!
Thank you! I'm sorry they called the city on you. That is so frustrating! If you decide to take the tower plunge there is a link in my videos and I help along the way. They are a great way to bypass most HOA's because they are technically a planter not a "garden".
i grew up growing our own food then i passed it on to my kids on how to its such an enjoyable experience
That is great you passed such a valuable skill on!

We are both on Social Security but not enough to afford a traditional house . We ended up getting a shed to house and are living in it but its far from complete.i went back to work after many years of being out of workforce due to having several spine surgeries

Blessings on your next adventure! Small off grid wholesome living.......it's a good life!
How wonderful that y’all have been able to do this. My partner and I have put a lot of thought into living a simpler life! We are both close to 70, and it all just seems overwhelming. Still could happen, but boy do I wish I would have had this idea about 10 years ago.
Thank you. It is a lot of work to change a lifestyle but living simple has been easier with daily tasks and priorities.
Your life changes are courageous and filled with faith. God bless you and family living a simply beautiful life. 🙂

Change is hard and scary but there always seems to be many blessings in the end. Best wishes for you!
Going forward, education for the people in the mountains on prepping. Try anything to help them edu themselves.
