The drummer for the James Last Orchestra plays like he has been schooled in the disco dance drum grooves for 15 years, and reminds me of studio drummer Lee Gurst in the 1970s.
The JLO, in my two bits, were the best of the orchestras that covered some of our favorite disco songs. Sure, there were other disco cover orchestras in the 1970s, but James Last was the greatest.
