For those of you who weren't around in the 60's it would be hard to describe the change the Beatles brought. Up until then music was so-so. When the Beatles came around society changed drastically. Fistfights at school became non-existent. People were all of a sudden happy. Their music brought a feeling of happiness to everyone. Even grouchy folks became somewhat happy. It's too bad everyone couldn't have lived back then to experience the aura of it all. Thank God for the Beatles, and Paul.

Charm became a worldwide obsession. People were on a truth quest. Global poverty levels were lower than any time in human history. There was a sense of optimism despite Cold War fears. Our parents and grandparents had survived what they had believed to be the antichrist at the time, Adolph Hitler. We were the children of their PTSD wanting to break free from their desire for calm conformity. New fads and opportunities abounded. The surf scene was born. Drag racing came of age. Electric music became a beacon. Many thought that a new era of peace and happiness was around the corner. There was still a strong sense of Christian morality standards that kept runaway evil in check. Movies were becoming more and more immersive; the auteur director was born. Entertainment became even more worldwide. Radio morphed into counter culture revolution. Music was seen as prophetic. A new royalty emerged-the rock star. People began to equate beauty with truth. This was the newness of the 60’s and I was there in Southern California when it was glorious.

It's not possible to hear every single song you love from this man in a single concert! There are solo albums and Wings. Even if it was all Beatles lineup you would only 1/10th of them or less! Thank you Girl, From me to you, I'll get you, Ask me why, I Should have known better, Happy just to dance for you, and I love her, Things we said today, Tell me why, If I fell, Michelle, Girl, Nowhere man, Paperback Rider, Day tripper and that's just some of their earlier stuff you rarely hear. And I left some out. Granted John would be needed on some or most of this stuff but we miss it nevertheless. Point is Paul does a very good job in his concerts and we love him and always will!

What was so great is that he played songs from maybe all of the Beatles and Wings and Ram albums plus a couple of his later songs. But he knew what the fans were there for. When I saw him he played over 3 dozen songs - full length, no shortcuts, no 'medleys'. From 'Meet the Beatles' to Sgt Pepper, Abbey Road, the White album, and then his later bands. He didn't need the money, that's for sure - he did it because he knew the fans wanted to hear him. He must be one of the most beloved performers who has ever been.

I count of my fortunes to be born in the mid-50s, as a result I had the glorious childhood of being a fan from the beginning. I remember sitting on my dad's lap in February of 64 on that Sunday night when the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan, watching Hard Days Night at the movie theater, buying my very own Beatle boots, paying $5 in '67 at the drug store for Sgt. Pepper, trading Beatles cards, falling to sleep with the Magical Mystery Tour album on, living the nightmare of their breakup, and watching the Dolphins/Patriot's game on Monday Night Football and hearing Howard Cosell make that horrible announcement in 1980. and hearing of George Harrison's passing on my son's 2nd birthday. I still have that Sgt Pepper album, those Beatles cards and a lifetime that I can associate the time and place where I was whenever I hear one of their songs. I have seen Paul five times, and Ringo once. I guess I'm a fan, you could say

I've been lucky to see Paul numerous times in Liverpool, and it's always hairs on the back of my neck time! I often go down Penny Lane, and pass all the Beatles former homes, and Strawberry fields, I'm nearly 70 now, and I enjoy them as if it was only 'yesterday' great to see the kids enjoying Paul's music too

I wish they had kept the Cavern and even Strawberry Fields. All they ever go on about the the GATES!!! If I had Lennon and Paul's cash, I would have restored these old buildings. They never stop bringing in tourists, and it would be nice to see the real thing!

I still remember being 8 years old when "Penny Lane" first sounded out on the radio and remembering the crazy days of watching Ed Sullivan when I was 5. Even then you knew how much more grown-up the music was. "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields" were the songs of the late winter and springtime 1967, before Sgt. Pepper hit like a bomb in June.

Glad I was able to take my 91 year old mother to see Sir Paul. It brought us back to the mid 1960's when we were a young family and enjoying the Beatles in their heyday. Incidentally, my dad was in the military and we lived in Morocco for a few years. There was no tv to watch but we had the radio and albums, the Beatles and other artist to fill the air waves. I remember when the movie Help came out, the theater was standing room only where it seemed like the entire military base was in attendance. Those were happy days.

I have to say that their music is different. Right now all the pop stars have okay music but after time people forget it. But the Beatles have something different. When they sing almost everyone remembers it. And pop stars may have good experience but the Beatles have more feeling for their music! It's sad that a lot of people that are born in the 20 are more into pop. Like I was more into pop until my grandfather showed me this. Now I am trying to become something like the Beatles. All I want to say to the Beatles is thank you for bringing this world so much beautiful and heart warming music my grandfather has respected you guys for a long time :)

Not just kids, travisfrombakersfield...every age, every race, the full socioeconomic spectrum. Whenever I see one of these videos I weep from beginning to end (if you haven't seen Carpool Karaoke with Paul McCartney, then you're in for a treat), not just from my own wonderful memories that The Beatles created/enhanced, but seeing how so many people are affected in the same way 50 years later. Kids with their parents and grandparents, teenage girls still giggling on their Paul crush, fellow professional artists staring up with complete and unabashed love and jealous free admiration (Billy Joel at 0:33), everyone singing along and just SMILING from ear to ear. I have been to many concerts where a lot of the audience is hesitant to let go and sing and dance around, but I doubt anyone fortunate enough to have seen shows like this (or...The Beatles when they were performing together!) was sitting down and just clapping in tempo all embarrassed. GOD we were lucky to have them. A one world government would only work had The Beatles been in charge of it! HA!

So glad I was alive when the Beatles first appeared in 1961. I was only 8, but the change they brought was absolutely phenomenal! You had to be alive at the time to understand how brilliant they were! They will never be forgotten-never. Hard to believe it’s 63 years ago. I know this clip happened several years ago, but Paul is still performing albeit occasionally. Can anyone think of any bands today that will still be playing in 2086 or any of its members like Paul or Ringo

I couldn.t agree more my friend ...I grew up listening to the beatles...I remember the first time I heard them on the radio..back in 1966...I.ve been a gan and followed them throughout their music lives...and still do ... their music is timeless...songs that can being 100.000 people together regardless of race ..religion or anything else ....Paul McCartney wrote songs that he gave to other bands and artists to start their career...Bad Finger comes to mind...I his number one hits that he wrote for the beatles and wing.s. stayed on the charts as number one hits for a total of almost three years .. in a row..no other artist can say that...I was fortunate enought to see him in concert in Vancouver B.C. exactly 40 years to the day that the beatles performed at Empire Stadium there ..64.000 people there ages ranging for 6 to I.m sure the late eighties..rocking...crying .. screaming..not just because it was Panl McCartney...but for a moment in time me and everyone else there were transported in time to a time when those songs changed the world...changed life...I quote Putin....he learned to speak english by listening to bootleg Beatles records(you can see that on Paul McCartney live in red square video.). Their music and Sir Pauls..will never ever go away ...unlike this rap crap of today.....which is nothing more then a bass line that sounds like a cat trying to cough up a hair ball...and lyrics that degrade females...telling people to kill the cops ...ete.....and won.t be sent to the moon like the Beatles music was on a Apollo mission...LONG LIVE THE BEATLES MUSIC..
