i've honestly been working on a xueyi hypercarry team since i really like her, and i've already fully leveled my trailblazer since for a while they were my only sustain. so harmony tb being break effect based is a match made in heaven. xueyi + silver wolf + htb + gallagher is the goal and i think it's going to be really fun to run. excited to hear a positive opinion on htb and xueyi synergy.
Wouldn't lynx be better? You'll guarantee quant weakness and They'll hit xueyi and get her ult faster, just go def rope. Def rope = less hp % needed to heal.
I love how hoyo is kinda pushing a new archetype with break effect. Before, even though Ruan Mei was still amazing for those teams, she also delayed the enemy action, meaning less breaks. Now with the harmony tb, this is not an issue anymore as enemy that are broken will receive huge dmg from super break. And also, how much easier it is to build BE than the traditional crit rate/crit dmg/atk% and balancing it all. Also, I would def include Luka who will benefit a lot from htb as he already deals pretty significant amount of dmg when breaking enemies if build with full break effect, specially if he is e6.
My take on HMC now that the kit is final (if i'm not wrong) with build, and synergy (I'm no guide maker but I want to do shit to get some opinions about my take and discuss it further): - HTB's talent is useless. with S2 Cogs, HTB Ult is already has Perma uptime: (6 energy * 7 hits) -> 42 + 5 (from Cogs S2) * 3 turns = 141/140. Some might say it's for SP positivity, but i digress. Any other rotation will brings you to either use 5% planar or ERR which is a lost of BE. So while I understand, I still disagree. -Skill is actually not that bad. With ult up and your enemy(es) weakness broken, you can already deal quite amount of damage to be considered as Sub-Dps because of the 7 hits that will be converted into Super Break Dmg. this is also the reason you want to skill spam. -With you can only use one Watchmaker set (its effect can't stack), and Ruan Mei already can go 3 turn rotation, I, myself, will build my HMC as Sub-Dps when the next BE + Def Pen relic drops. -Almost all the changes to HTB since V1 were nerfs: 1. The ult gave you super break damage based of 108% your break base damage (Ult lv 12) which means you could buff your base break DMG from 3767 (LV80 char) into 4,068. now it's fixed 100% which means it will always stays 3767 2. While supposedly a *Bad translation* the first trace went from 30%/40%/50%/60%/70% but now it starts from 20% and ends with 60%. Which is a 10% nerf in my eyes. -Final verdict: •The goods: HTB is a unit that can ups all of your allies dmg floor to be considered as Sub-Dps (if you use some BE sub stats on them), good BE enabler but really prone to power creep (which is okay, HTB is free), while His value drops against non imaginary weakness, the character is still pretty good as Sub-Dps in the team, once the enemy is broken. The value itself is comparable with decent 4 stars with the power to enable your allies as good Sub-Dps. is mid-late investment character. •The bads, i'm really disappointed with the "Nerfs" and the useless talent. The biggest offender for me is the talent. If it gives +10 energy to all allies (or at the very least, the ally who broke the enemy's weakness) it should be okay, but they decide to give *NOTHING* as the talent. Which is where my pessimistic view of future BE enabler (Ruan Mei is not BE enabler, she is buffer) stems from, Hoyo definitely already decide to make a new BE enabler with actual talent, Sig LC, and better skill. -Build: •Stats: *Chest* : whatever with highest speed and BE/ ATK (for Sub DPS. As someone who just started the game recently and doesnt have ruan mei but is planning to roll for Boothill, who do you think would fit best in my 4th slot? So far the team is looking like Boothill + HTB + Aventurine (got him with his S1 so I assume he'll provide more dmg than gallagher), but idk who to put in the fourth slot
If you don't have the watch maker set on HTB, you basically make boot-leg ruan mei for your 4th party slot. Put the watch maker set on a harmony character (a good choice for this is hanya) and stack break effect on them. If do this on Hanya, you could also put the penacony set on her (though I don't know if you can farm it well) with the free penacony lc see or the Asta light cone(these lc increase the damage of the same type as the wearer, which means that the only person you could use this on is hanya or robin). Im basically running the same team as you, lol.
CMIIW. Break effect is only useful just when the character breaks the enemy. If the enemy is already weakness broken, the BE has no effect. Please Correct me if I am wrong here. Because if BE is just applied when it breaks enemy, I don't think BE is very useful. It rather a gimmick mechanic. You have to make your DPS break the enemy, and your other char should not break enemy. I think this is not very fun.
I have confusion of harmony TB's Ultimate. "If allies attack enemy target that already in weakness broken state, they will convert the toughness reducing damage into super break dmg." Does this mean "Super Break DMG" is only trigger if the allies are on correct element? What is the "Super Break DMG"?
Super Break DMG is basically dealing Break DMG everytime you hit an already broken unit. It's just a more consistent way of dealing Break DMG . Think how Kafka is able to detonate DoT DMG instead of waiting for the enemy's turn, it's the same way with how Super Break DMG "detonating" Break DMG without the need of waiting for the enemy to regain their toughness bar and breaking it to deal Break DMG. TL;DR Super Break DMG = dealing Break DMG each time you hit an enemy while they are at a broken state. Basically, we enter the Break meta with Harmony TB.

Then just use Bronya with Robin, it’ll most likely be better if you can pass a certain threshold. Boothill has a slow startup, so getting more turns can be extremely good for him, not to mention he gets to deal more toughness damage that way.
@@EclinI'm personally using Asta for easier Talia activation so I can focus on mainly BE substats. I have 197 on him currently before battle and Talia bonus. I opted for Asta bc I built her for Break effect aswell. 😂

Here my question. All i see that HMC similar to ruan mei so in kafka dot team. Can ruan mei be replace by HMC. The team is kafka+black swan+(HMC)+sustainer. How efficient with that team compare to kafka+black swan+ruan mei+sustainer? I know most people going to put HMC&ruan mei togather but i dont have ruan mei so if HMC is a good option to replace ruan mei then i going to pull robin or firefly❤. Please give you explanation.
Sustain welt is gonna be crazy now that there's a 3rd enemy delaying unit, and that the 3 of them can sorta work together to massively buff your hypercarry
And while all dealing their own respectable dmg. It's sounds super fun to me. Sushang and Luka now being an A tier dps with MC? Sounds correct haha. But fr though having them be delayed so much and then also having Ruan Mei delay when their turn is up yet again which keeps the super break dmg flowing in. Just so cool
@Helperishere I cant wait for HTB. My sw is already doing 27k with one e and 122k on break ult is 76k and 211k on break is so nuts. its just so fun. This is without her being buffed by anyone.
@@hentikirby7142 I did a break effect build on mine once too! I was dealing similar dmg. Only 80k on Quantum Entanglement though. I also did a crit build for her and was dealing 50k an ult which was nice. I sadly caved in and built full support now. 163 speed for max uptime on ult preferably as I needed that for Acheron. Honestly I see her being heavily undervalued dispite people saying she is super good. She does her job so well but people just think Pela is better without every seeing that SW and he weakness implant is the reason why she is just so damn good. I can go into a fight and always be on Element bc of her. Just so fun
@@Helperishere she gives 12-32 ren on her e which is amazing and usually you dont really care about having too much res pen anyways. So the 12-32 by herself is already insane. She has spd, atk, def reduction

Xueyi is probably one of the only dps that can take full advantage of HMC as she converts break effect into damage bonus and since will have a decent chunk from the rope , traces and her team mates she can have room for crit stats and the same applies for boot hill
It's still gonna be awful and powercrept by limited 5*s. What is even the point. Physical and Fire MC pales in comparison to even some 4 star units. It's a damn joke..
The way I see it, harmony TB is very much like Kafka, but for break damage teams. They eliminate a major weakness of the team, by making “super break” a much more consistent form of damage. Unless they get directly powercrept (which wouldn’t be that much of an issue anyways), they are only going to get more and more useful as better super break teammates are released.
i honestly dont really care if the MC going is to be super good/ game breaking/ or anything... but with a different type of kit added on the game.. makes it more fun and having more variety of gameplay on your team..... yeah great video it will atleast make us more prepared for what comes next....
I think Sam could work with HTB since it's looking like she also scales off of BE. Her Enhanced Skill also let her advance herself if she breaks at least one enemy with that Enhanced Skill which allows her to do Super Break. I'm thinking of: Sam, Jiaoqiu, HTB, Gallagher as a team. I think the team could work but you're probably better off replacing HTB with a better harmony, except Ruan Mei imo.
I'm honestly pleasantly surprised they are giving the main character such a strong kit, love how this Trailblazer single-handedly enables a completely new playstyle. I'm a bit upset for how unimpactful most Eidolons are, but just the base kit looks very solid so it's all good. Unironically Harmony Trailblazer might be one of my favorite characters so far.
I was going for a team of e6Asta, Boothill, e6 Harmony MC, and e6 Gallagher. My Asta is built for speed and Break effect. She has 157 speed and 110 break effect. Using Bronya LC for energy regen purposes mostly. Boothill will have 197 break effect before battle with my relics. Full Theif set. Harmony MC has 147 speed with 150 break effect from his relics and LC. Gallagher is 140 speed and only 86% break effect bc im using ERR rope for maximum ult uptime and MASSIVE QoL healing unitlity. My plan is Asta uses ult to give skill points while giving Boothill the speed he needs to trigger Banditry Planar set. Gallagher applies his 13.7% break dmg taken debuff. Harmony MC will give everyone break effect boosts with his Watchmaker set and Ult and let everyone deal super break dmg. Boothill will obviously be dealing the big dmg. Im hoping that since Asta is fire and her skill deals alot of toughness dmg total that she will be hitting decent dmg numbers like Harmony MC does. My only issue is idk how super break works. It counts the toughness dmg of the attack aswell as break effect. So does that mean multi hit skills will deal more dmg? So like what I mean is Harmony MCs skill hits 4 times I believe for 30 toughness(?). Does that count as a total of 120 for the dmg calculation in this instance or is it only gonna count the 30? Im hoping it counts total so Asta will be doing dmg. If thats the case I may wanna see if Misha break will deal good dmg with the ult.
I have a fully built Gallagher, and he sustains much better than my Bailu. So I will definitely be pairing him with Harmony TB and Xueyi + 1 more support when facing quantum weak enemies.
@acheronsslavethats bad. Harmony Tb is just that: a support. They sure can do some damage but you dont necessarily want them to be the character who breaks the enemy, you want the break to come from your dps. The new 4pc set is way better because of the break effect increase for everyone, the 3 energy points are ridiculous

Thats why I would recommend running watchmaker on Ruan mei and then running 4pc thief or 2pc thief 2pc watchmaker ( upgrade to the new break set in 2.3) on harmony mc because they do alot of break dmg with their skill.

You'll die of old age in this wait. Hoyo will never make any comp better than Crit Hypercarry, they can make really good comps, but brute force Crit hypercarry has always been top priority in all of their games.
@@luissaumeth8000 nope not at all, seems like this mechanic of frontloading break damage is VERY valuable similar in value to the frontloading of DOT provided by kafka, you just can't play break teams without Hmc, which is a wild thing to say about a free character.
Double break DPS teams 100% don’t work because these recommendations which pop up with every new character always ignore the most basic thing: skill point efficiency. E.g. Sushang + Boot Hill need to skill every turn, and Sushang’s built in action advance makes here even more SP negative. There’s literally no way you can pair that with HMC + sustain and make that work unless they only ever basic attack. Basic with either DPS and you get both a DPS drop as well as slower breaks. And break teams are already the most back loaded damage in the game, worse than DoT. Double break DPS is a horrible Iyo level idea.
Hmc fills up energy easily, and by now most people got sushang eidolons bro she easily becomes sp neutral, gallagher everybody could have gotten and he can be sp+ so ur tripping fam

Which means a Ruan Mei would be ideal, which means you can't run HTB so there's no point. Unless you just rely on HTB's pseudo action delay mechanic and see if that works. But ig time will tell
If you use Gallagher with ERR rope like you should be doing he generates alot of SP by himself. I have an excessive amount on my Acheron team bc of him. I have a 163 speed Silver Wolf that I have to spam skill on bc of it. I use ERR over break effect as it keeps his ult up on the enemy at e4 almost permanently. Making healing never an issue. Sushang and Luka in particular will be fine in a duo dps comp I feel as Sushangs e1 keeps her neutral and Luka deals the same toughness with his basic as he does his skill. So I think you're wrong on those 2 units in particular, but overall if you have a high speed Gallagher/Luocha or high speed MC with Bronya LC you'll be fine for SP. It'll take a good amount of spd investment if you do plan on using weird duo dps unit combinations I feel so you're concerns are correct there.
Gallagher is a great sustain. I have Aventurine and Fu Xuan but still prefer to use him in certain teams. He punches way above 4 star. The only thing you need to make sure is you're not using supports who never attack like Bronya or Sparkle or you'll need to use a skill on them pretty frequently to keep them healthy. Its still serviceable but you'll go SP negative with him.
Oh fully. I had that issue with Sparkle when I tried to not using Fu Xuan on my Jing Yuan team. He can still heal her without her ever attacking if he is fast enough on getting his ult but if she gets targeted too much I have to waste that SP.
I prefer ERR rope on my Gallagher so I don't reach that high of Break Effect on him but I have a set for MC and Boothill farmed already. 197 break effect on Boothills set before battle and only like 160 break for MC. He has 147 speed though and has full watch maker.
Im pretty surprised you didnt add firefly in the video. I thought she was a perfect pick with Tb. Her damage scales with break effect (while in ult mode) and she regains turns when hitting enemies in break. Does she not synergize that well?
I believe it does yet. By a max of 13.7% if I'm not mistaken. It's one of the only things that effect break dmg. Definitely the only sustainer that can buff it
Not really, currently the best break effect characters are Ruan Mei, Gallagher, Xueyi, Silver Wolf and in the future Boothill and probably Firefly, they will most definetely add more break effect focused characters in the future as well

Fire and Physical deal I think 2x more break dmg while most others deal 1.3x I believe. 1.5 maybe for Wind. I'm not entirely sure but you can make them deal decent dmg but I'd focus on Fire and Physical bc those are the better options and let's be honest here Fire and Physical have been on the bottom for good characters
@@kaseyatakahashi9753 well they have synergy. She needs to break enemies for her FuA so it works. She is Fire so she deals 2x the break dmg just like Physical does. Plus she can store FuAs with how her double stack mechanic works.

Ruan Mei's delay makes HTB more valuable since you deal more Superbreaks

If you have e6 Gallagher I would suggest him over adventurine when your team is well build and adventurine could be on second slot

Yeah but the thing about harmony MC is that he makes your characters deal break damage whenever they attack a broken enemy.
harmony MC enables the "Super Break" damage which looks like a new meta
You should have deducted at least 7 substats worth of crit rolls from your “full break” build to make up for the added 30% break effect substats
Also firefly will scale off hp and break eff! So keep that in mind for pull options

What is the "Super Break DMG"?
Super Break DMG is basically dealing Break DMG everytime you hit an already broken unit. It's just a more consistent way of dealing Break DMG . Think how Kafka is able to detonate DoT DMG instead of waiting for the enemy's turn, it's the same way with how Super Break DMG "detonating" Break DMG without the need of waiting for the enemy to regain their toughness bar and breaking it to deal Break DMG.
TL;DR Super Break DMG = dealing Break DMG each time you hit an enemy while they are at a broken state.
Basically, we enter the Break meta with Harmony TB.

Then just use Bronya with Robin, it’ll most likely be better if you can pass a certain threshold. Boothill has a slow startup, so getting more turns can be extremely good for him, not to mention he gets to deal more toughness damage that way.

Here my question. All i see that HMC similar to ruan mei so in kafka dot team. Can ruan mei be replace by HMC. The team is kafka+black swan+(HMC)+sustainer. How efficient with that team compare to kafka+black swan+ruan mei+sustainer? I know most people going to put HMC&ruan mei togather but i dont have ruan mei so if HMC is a good option to replace ruan mei then i going to pull robin or firefly❤. Please give you explanation.
Sustain welt is gonna be crazy now that there's a 3rd enemy delaying unit, and that the 3 of them can sorta work together to massively buff your hypercarry
And while all dealing their own respectable dmg. It's sounds super fun to me. Sushang and Luka now being an A tier dps with MC? Sounds correct haha.
But fr though having them be delayed so much and then also having Ruan Mei delay when their turn is up yet again which keeps the super break dmg flowing in. Just so cool
@Helperishere I cant wait for HTB. My sw is already doing 27k with one e and 122k on break ult is 76k and 211k on break is so nuts. its just so fun. This is without her being buffed by anyone.
@@hentikirby7142 I did a break effect build on mine once too! I was dealing similar dmg. Only 80k on Quantum Entanglement though. I also did a crit build for her and was dealing 50k an ult which was nice.
I sadly caved in and built full support now. 163 speed for max uptime on ult preferably as I needed that for Acheron.
Honestly I see her being heavily undervalued dispite people saying she is super good. She does her job so well but people just think Pela is better without every seeing that SW and he weakness implant is the reason why she is just so damn good. I can go into a fight and always be on Element bc of her. Just so fun
@@Helperishere she gives 12-32 ren on her e which is amazing and usually you dont really care about having too much res pen anyways. So the 12-32 by herself is already insane. She has spd, atk, def reduction
@@HelperishereI think the main reason people prefer Pela over SW is because her def shred is AOE (despite SW's def shred being higher than Pela's). I have SW too but I really prefer AOE characters.

Xueyi is probably one of the only dps that can take full advantage of HMC as she converts break effect into damage bonus and since will have a decent chunk from the rope , traces and her team mates she can have room for crit stats and the same applies for boot hill

It's still gonna be awful and powercrept by limited 5*s. What is even the point. Physical and Fire MC pales in comparison to even some 4 star units. It's a damn joke..
The way I see it, harmony TB is very much like Kafka, but for break damage teams. They eliminate a major weakness of the team, by making “super break” a much more consistent form of damage. Unless they get directly powercrept (which wouldn’t be that much of an issue anyways), they are only going to get more and more useful as better super break teammates are released.

i honestly dont really care if the MC going is to be super good/ game breaking/ or anything... but with a different type of kit added on the game.. makes it more fun and having more variety of gameplay on your team..... yeah great video it will atleast make us more prepared for what comes next....
I think Sam could work with HTB since it's looking like she also scales off of BE. Her Enhanced Skill also let her advance herself if she breaks at least one enemy with that Enhanced Skill which allows her to do Super Break.
I'm thinking of: Sam, Jiaoqiu, HTB, Gallagher as a team. I think the team could work but you're probably better off replacing HTB with a better harmony, except Ruan Mei imo.

I'm honestly pleasantly surprised they are giving the main character such a strong kit, love how this Trailblazer single-handedly enables a completely new playstyle. I'm a bit upset for how unimpactful most Eidolons are, but just the base kit looks very solid so it's all good. Unironically Harmony Trailblazer might be one of my favorite characters so far.
I was going for a team of e6Asta, Boothill, e6 Harmony MC, and e6 Gallagher.
My Asta is built for speed and Break effect. She has 157 speed and 110 break effect. Using Bronya LC for energy regen purposes mostly.
Boothill will have 197 break effect before battle with my relics. Full Theif set.
Harmony MC has 147 speed with 150 break effect from his relics and LC.
Gallagher is 140 speed and only 86% break effect bc im using ERR rope for maximum ult uptime and MASSIVE QoL healing unitlity.
My plan is Asta uses ult to give skill points while giving Boothill the speed he needs to trigger Banditry Planar set. Gallagher applies his 13.7% break dmg taken debuff. Harmony MC will give everyone break effect boosts with his Watchmaker set and Ult and let everyone deal super break dmg. Boothill will obviously be dealing the big dmg.
Im hoping that since Asta is fire and her skill deals alot of toughness dmg total that she will be hitting decent dmg numbers like Harmony MC does.
My only issue is idk how super break works. It counts the toughness dmg of the attack aswell as break effect. So does that mean multi hit skills will deal more dmg?
So like what I mean is Harmony MCs skill hits 4 times I believe for 30 toughness(?). Does that count as a total of 120 for the dmg calculation in this instance or is it only gonna count the 30?

I have a fully built Gallagher, and he sustains much better than my Bailu. So I will definitely be pairing him with Harmony TB and Xueyi + 1 more support when facing quantum weak enemies.

They sure can do some damage but you dont necessarily want them to be the character who breaks the enemy, you want the break to come from your dps. The new 4pc set is way better because of the break effect increase for everyone, the 3 energy points are ridiculous

Thats why I would recommend running watchmaker on Ruan mei and then running 4pc thief or 2pc thief 2pc watchmaker ( upgrade to the new break set in 2.3) on harmony mc because they do alot of break dmg with their skill.

@@luissaumeth8000 nope not at all, seems like this mechanic of frontloading break damage is VERY valuable similar in value to the frontloading of DOT provided by kafka, you just can't play break teams without Hmc, which is a wild thing to say about a free character.
Firefly will be better with ruan mei but HMC is fine too. (Ruan mei skipper cope)

@coreo6688 looking at the rerun line up she might run in 2.3 or 2.4, if it's 2.4 you can go for E1 FF if not, then E0 will do.
Double break DPS teams 100% don’t work because these recommendations which pop up with every new character always ignore the most basic thing: skill point efficiency. E.g. Sushang + Boot Hill need to skill every turn, and Sushang’s built in action advance makes here even more SP negative. There’s literally no way you can pair that with HMC + sustain and make that work unless they only ever basic attack. Basic with either DPS and you get both a DPS drop as well as slower breaks. And break teams are already the most back loaded damage in the game, worse than DoT. Double break DPS is a horrible Iyo level idea.
Hmc fills up energy easily, and by now most people got sushang eidolons bro she easily becomes sp neutral, gallagher everybody could have gotten and he can be sp+ so ur tripping fam
E1 Sushang makes her so neutral on broken targets. Luocha with multiplication is also an SP printer.

Which means a Ruan Mei would be ideal, which means you can't run HTB so there's no point. Unless you just rely on HTB's pseudo action delay mechanic and see if that works. But ig time will tell

If you use Gallagher with ERR rope like you should be doing he generates alot of SP by himself.
I have an excessive amount on my Acheron team bc of him. I have a 163 speed Silver Wolf that I have to spam skill on bc of it. I use ERR over break effect as it keeps his ult up on the enemy at e4 almost permanently. Making healing never an issue.
Sushang and Luka in particular will be fine in a duo dps comp I feel as Sushangs e1 keeps her neutral and Luka deals the same toughness with his basic as he does his skill.
So I think you're wrong on those 2 units in particular, but overall if you have a high speed Gallagher/Luocha or high speed MC with Bronya LC you'll be fine for SP. It'll take a good amount of spd investment if you do plan on using weird duo dps unit combinations I feel so you're concerns are correct there.
Gallagher is a great sustain. I have Aventurine and Fu Xuan but still prefer to use him in certain teams. He punches way above 4 star. The only thing you need to make sure is you're not using supports who never attack like Bronya or Sparkle or you'll need to use a skill on them pretty frequently to keep them healthy. Its still serviceable but you'll go SP negative with him.
Oh fully. I had that issue with Sparkle when I tried to not using Fu Xuan on my Jing Yuan team.
He can still heal her without her ever attacking if he is fast enough on getting his ult but if she gets targeted too much I have to waste that SP.
I already have Luka, Ruan Mei and Gallagher all built with 200+ Break Eff, and this is making me more and more excited!
I prefer ERR rope on my Gallagher so I don't reach that high of Break Effect on him but I have a set for MC and Boothill farmed already. 197 break effect on Boothills set before battle and only like 160 break for MC. He has 147 speed though and has full watch maker.

Im pretty surprised you didnt add firefly in the video. I thought she was a perfect pick with Tb. Her damage scales with break effect (while in ult mode) and she regains turns when hitting enemies in break. Does she not synergize that well?

I believe it does yet. By a max of 13.7% if I'm not mistaken. It's one of the only things that effect break dmg. Definitely the only sustainer that can buff it

Not really, currently the best break effect characters are Ruan Mei, Gallagher, Xueyi, Silver Wolf and in the future Boothill and probably Firefly, they will most definetely add more break effect focused characters in the future as well

Fire and Physical deal I think 2x more break dmg while most others deal 1.3x I believe. 1.5 maybe for Wind. I'm not entirely sure but you can make them deal decent dmg but I'd focus on Fire and Physical bc those are the better options and let's be honest here Fire and Physical have been on the bottom for good characters
