I've been using tingyun even when characters like Bronya or recently Ruan Mei's up cuz of a trick i like to call "The Foxian Battery" where she's with Huohuo and I'd just ult spam with a certain hypercarry. the fact that 4* are super useful are so good for someone like me who likes to roll for waifus/husbandos over meta

I mean Xuyei comes close as a sub DPS and having an easy way to scale her damage. Not to mention she can break regardless of weakness but you really need the boss to summon a lot of ads to justify using her over QQ and you really need her E2. Also people be sleeping on Hook because she has the highest multiplier on a destruction character in the game, her + Asta =Pyro weak boss very dead.
This is actually an interesting video because I was a HSR player day one and got my sister into it about 3-4 months ago. She was a little disheartened that she didn’t have any of the 5 stars I had, but I told her, “trust me, build Pela, Lynx, Tingyun and Asta. They are practically 5 stars if you build them right. I mean shoot, even I just discovered a Pela build that absolutely shreds and I was barely using her before.

Even using her basic attacks, I’ve got enough ER where she’s doing her ult once every 2 turns, which is lethal for your actual DPS. If you’re gonna use her as a battery though, you’ll want to make her tanky because if you don’t, she’s one of the easiest characters in your party to die during a boss. That’s why I run a Defense Orb and Guard of Wuthering Snow. It can help her survive situations that she’d normally be annihilated in.
@@atsushikusanagi4067 Yukong is a struggle to use outside of E6 unless you adjust her speed (maybe not to speedtune levels, but you still have to be aware of how fast she is relative to your DPSes). I recently obtained her E6 after doing the recent Penacony event, and man, it's such a huge QoL.
@@hiimapop7755 although definitely still a hurdle, I feel like it can be pretty easy to make Yukong work as long as you value speed substats the way you're already supposed to. Sustain units NEED speed, so they should be trying to outspeed Yukong already. Once you achieve that, Yukong works with almost any dps as long as that sustain unit is there regardless of eidolons

As one of those 3 people who mained Herta pre-pure fiction, I'd just like to add she's also really good in SU's Rememberance Path because of blessing like adding ice weakness and the one that makes all ice damage blast onto adjacent units. Remember all of Herta's non-basic attacks are AOE, so that second blessing gives her a lot of damage
To add on she can be very good against anything with summons, I used her on my underlevelled account to beat the weekly boss bug and am trying to level her for argenti boss

Guess it's time to build my Herta and Himeko for Pure Fiction cuz I made it to lvl 51 Trailblazer and I am having troubles with it with just Black Swan and Little Gui and I am not feeling my Dr Ratio gonna do much for me anytime soon.
I still can't beleive it's has been 3-4 month and still no guide on gambling gremling.. (yeah ik there other guide but your have the ability to make me focus.)
I use Asta with Kafka and Black Swan because I came back when Ruan Mei banner just ended, but honestly I dont think I'll ever remove her from that team.
Big same got a random Kafka right before her banner left then went hard for bs synergy and asta is just so good. Basically every other built harmony I've got is for like hyper carry etc type stuff lol
Lynx and Tingyun are major players in the hsr game. Tingyun is better than Bronya in most team comps like DoT or Jingliu hypercarry teams. Lynx is just a better fit for the game as a healer than Bailu. Asta and Pela are just the best f2p friendly 4 stars in the game. And Jingyuan might get demoted to 4 star soon, i heard from someone. Makes sense because he's mid.
i wouldnt be so sure about tingyun being better than bronya, bronya is still one of the top tier harmony character cause she buffs both your atk and your spd, and at the same time pushes the character you buff to attack right after her, tingyun is hella good too but bronya had a better edge, a jingliu hypercarry team benefitted the most out of bronya
@@richie_0740 i love my bronya but i use e6 tingyun overy e1 bronya a lot. Bronya is great but i think she has her SP issues. Not saying bronya/jingliu isnt great but its awkward. You need the right spd mathed out to be super efficient. Which is rolling the dice at that point.

Tbh, it’s kinda surprising that I’m still enjoying, and using QQ inside of HSR. currently, she is more well built, that she’s able to outdmg my Jinglu in pure single dmg, and my Tingyun is sometimes more viable then my E0 bronya.. crazy how strong they are for 4 stars.

I build her recently (e4) and her dmg is OUTTA THIS WORLD and can even rival with e0 JingLiu without Bronya - it even surpasses with time. Its insane what QQ is able to do - esp. if she takes advantage of her 24% Follow up Attack. Beside that I really enjoyed this video and I am amazed that you are still churning out those hilarious jokes left and right after all this time.
in general i would say top 5 4 stars to build would be QQ, Asta, Herta, Guinaifen, and Misha. before misha showed up in game it would have been sushang instead, cuz she is like a 5 star acting like a 4 star just like QQ

who's the math teacher?? guinaifen can be used in a DoT team (kafka, black swan, etc), Dr. Ratio team as a debuffer, or as a general sub DPS against fire weak enemies
@spartantraveler7251 Dr ratio.. if your guinaifen is e1 with resolution lightcone, she can apply 4 debuffs for Dr. ratio to pop off. OR u can run pela (e4 with resolution lightcone can apply 3 debuffs), tingyun is a very important choice as well. it's okay if u don't have eidolons on pela or guinaifen as a new player. Team examples: Dr ratio, guinaifen, tingyun, sustain Dr ratio, pela, tingyun, sustain Dr ratio, pela, guinaifen, sustain Dr ratio, guinaifen, asta, sustain Dr ratio, pela, asta, sustain (last team i used in the current MoC)

I used Asta all the time until recently and still use her more than any other 4* except Lynx, who happens to be in almost every team for me.
Herta also good for both bug bosses. They too spam extra bugs to trigger her kuru kuru endlessly, and both ice weak.

guinaifen can be used in a DoT team (kafka, black swan, etc), Dr. Ratio team as a debuffer, or as a general sub DPS against fire weak enemies

@spartantraveler7251 Dr ratio.. if your guinaifen is e1 with resolution lightcone, she can apply 4 debuffs for Dr. ratio to pop off. OR u can run pela (e4 with resolution lightcone can apply 3 debuffs), tingyun is a very important choice as well. it's okay if u don't have eidolons on pela or guinaifen as a new player.
