Some follow up notes: 1: I will be keeping the Mime Order - Thank you to everyone letting me know the covers are reverting back! 2: Heartless is an Alice and Wonderland based story not Beauty and the Beast (whoops tho my sentiments stay the same!)
*talking about A Great and Terrible Beauty* “It’s not TERRIBLE but I just didn’t think it was GREAT” (I got a kick out of this word choice whether it was intentional or not)
I'll be honest, I started the book a couple years ago and I ended up not finishing it. Its in my son's room and I have it there because it looks cool. 🙊 from what I remember, it talks about why the queen was so evil and what led up to her becoming that way.
I can’t read on Kindle, the book becomes uninteresting to me and my eyes hurt. Especially with long books I just hate it. I wish I could like it because it would be cheaper and reduce my book piles but I just can’t 📚
Your nail polishes are always so so so cute. You actually made me buy my first sezane jumper and now i cant look back haahah thanks! You should really do a closet tour through your favourite pieces!!!
I've been getting rid of my books for a year now and I love all the space! lol I kept all the physical books I LOVE and will read again. Despite having less physical books, I've been reading more than I have in YEARS. I've been reading books on my Kindle.
When I first clicked, I thought it was another book haul. But now that I know it’s an UNhaul, I am HERE FOR IT. In a weird way, I actually look forward to these more than book hauls and find them SO satisfying to watch
Oh, it's got to be hard to unhaul books you actually want to read. This definitely made me thankful I have more bookshelf space! Ha, but it's always interesting to see what people are choosing to get rid of. Good job on being ruthless.
You should really read American Royals. I’ve just finished it and LOVED IT. It has politics, romance and banter.. the perfect mix!! I truly fell in love with all the characters. REALLY RECOMMEND
You can always pick them up on kindle if you find you are really dying to read any of them~ Thankfully we have these options now. I live in South Korea now and it’s so nice to be able to pick up stuff when it comes out vs having to wait for ages for shipping^^
Aah Juliet Marillier! My absolute favourite author, which I don't see often on booktube yet. I own and have read all of her books and I love it! I think you will love them too. I would definitely think of the Shadowfell series as my least favourite series of her. I'd recommend the Seven Water series and one of her more recent Blackthorn & Grim series. And I really want to reread her Saga of the Light Isles soon. Can't wait to hear your reviews once you might pick up a book by her! :)
As a suggestion, perhaps you should reorganize the books on your shelves and in your home. Especially with your Fall decorating idea, you could perhaps find new ways to organize your books for space. You could also get a skinny bookshelf to add to the ones in the background of your videos.
I LOVE book unhauls. It feels so nice to shrink the TBR down, but I also understand the feeling of not wanting to get rid of books but having to because of lack of space!! LOL. great video Reagan!!
The Bone Season book 4 is coming out soon and they are going back to original covers. Idk how hard it is to get books 1 & 2, but 3 was a special edition to match. I'd keep books 1 and 2. Heartless is Alice.
All of the next bone season books are gonna be in the same style as the first ones!! But I get the frustration I have the same problem with the song rising hahaha but the series is amazinnggg 🥰
oh man the last two immortals books is when it gets really good! lol. The series grows up a lot in book three. Would definitely recommend you check them out from the library! Or at least try the Song of the Lioness series from Tamora Pierce. They're set in the same world but they come before The Immortals.
The spin-off series of Falling Kingdoms was actually cancelled after the first two books by the author/publisher. That helped me to decide to get rid of my copy of the first book. I have no desire to start a series that will never be finished.
My FAVORITE Juliet Marillier series was Shadowfell; I loved it!. I could never bring myself to finish her other ones. I would keep this & read the series!
I arrived late to this video, but it is so interesting to know that you don't like that much Marissa Meyer's work....I liked that, I like to find people that not always follow the masses (in terms of liking what everyone else does) also I hope you get to read American Royals, I read it and I really like it!! Must clarify that is full Drama.
Reagan! Not related to this video but THANK YOU for recommending the city of brass! I would never have picked that series up otherwise. The covers are pretty but don‘t intrigue me and don‘t do the amazing setting justice in my opinion. In the middle of book 2 and enjoying it immensely 😊
I don’t like getting rid of my books! I have a small house, so I read mostly ebooks. I read American Royals and was surprised I liked it as much as I did. It isn’t my typical read.
Juliet Marillier is my absolute favorite author. Shadowfell is her YA series and honestly not the first book I would have people read. Daughter of the Forest was the first I ever read of hers. I also adore Wildwood Dancing and Hearts Blood. I never hear anyone talking about her so I'm just like !!! my fave!!!
So I love Marissa Meyer's books, but Heartless was not her best. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it's a story about how the Queen of Hearts became the Queen of Hearts and so you KNOW it's not going to end well. And I want happy endings in my books. I will say though, the naked hardcover of the US edition is absolutely stunning.
I love all Tamora Pierce's Tortall books, so I'm currently recollecting them in my favorite covers. (I've unhauled and rebought these books multiple times.)
Aw A Great and Terrible Beauty is one of my all time favorite fantasy trilogies! I read them first in high school. I wish they would make them into movies. They were and then it got canceled.....
I read Heartless and absolutely loved it, but that’s absolutely biased because I’m a huge Alice in Wonderland fan. But it’s not really a “re-telling,” it’s more a prequel or an origin story for the Queen of Hearts which I found really cool and made her character more fascinating to me.
The bone season covers are going back to the original design (your mime order edition). You can find a matching The Song Rising from the UK. It’s purple and has a butterfly on it. These are my preferred editions, I’m not sure if there are any other editions that will continue on with Book 4. Hope that helps!
The Mime Order took a bizarre path and the 3rd one was kind of long. It's sad because I loved the 1st one. I also couldn't finish Heartless and It was super hyped when it came out.
Well there are no mermaids in Seafire so that might be it 😅 It’s about a girl gang of pirates in a dystopian world. I ended up liking it, but not loving it. I actually DNF’d my ARC and then listened to it on audio a while later. I liked it enough to listen to the sequel, which is better imo. For anyone interested in it, the strength of this story lies with the strong characterization of both main characters and the huge cast of secondaries. Every person mentioned feels fleshed out and real - like the author really, really knows her crew, even if someone gets very little page time.
why do we always feel the need to justify why we don't want a book anymore..... tbh i'm guilty of that myself, but yeah we shouldn't need a reason to unhaul books
Had to do an unhaul myself recently cause I am moving and thankfully I am not too mad about what I got rid of although if I am honest there was one trilogy I kept that I know I will never re-read but I have already collected all the other books by that author so I feel like it has to stay.
I feel you girl, I'm moving to another country soon... I've got to get rid of a considerable chunk of my library before that because I am NOT moving that many books.
CONGRATS ON 300K!!! 👏🏻❤️❤️ I just unhauled 50 or so books, it’s incredibly therapeutic. How do they keep building up so fast?! I have no idea. 😂 Oof, you getting rid of the Bone Season books hurt me. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do! Book 4 is coming out next year. 🙈
Heartless is an Alice and Wonderland book. Did you even read the dust jacket before unhauling. Have to agree on we were liars, the book kept trying to have a plot/point but it never did get there for me.
Hey Reagan - First up: love your videos and your energy! You’re such a sunshine :-) just wanted to let you know, that heartless is the story of how the red queen of Alice in wonderland became crazy! It’s a really good retelling in my opinion! But I know the feeling when you’re not drawn to a book! ☝🏻😅 but i think you would enjoy this one - it has beautiful writing and the heroine bakes 🥰
I agree on your thoughts on not wanting to revisit the shatter me series- I enjoyed it so much years ago but something tells me I wouldn't as much now. And I'm actually so intrigued by olivia twist as someone who loves oliver twist, so I will look into that for sure!
I had the same thoughts about Marissa Meyer’s books. I think they’re overhyped. heartless is an Alice and wonderland prequel. I personally did not like it but others do :)
I see where you’re coming from. My best friends fav author is Marissa Meyer so I read them for her, and they were all kinda lackluster-except for heartless. I really liked it and found it to be bounds better than her other stuff.
I was underwhelmed by The Dinner List. I found Heartless to do really well done, but I love stories that explain villain backstories. The fact that it was about the Queen of Hearts made it particularly enjoyable to me.
I always find people who own and then unhaul so many books so interesting. I don’t know how much a hardback copy costs in the us but where I’m from it’s like around 20 euros a book. I can only imagine how much money so many books must have cost her and then she gives them away for nothing, sometimes even without reading them. I couldn’t afford buying so many books, man. Or maybe she just gets them for free bc she’s big on youtube, that would make a little more sense. But damn, what a big amount of money!
One of the reasons I tend to read more on my iPad is because if I don't like or don't read something I don't feel like I've wasted as much time or money because they don't take up space in my room.
I could never get rid of my books or dvds. I got all The dvds of films i don’t like in boxes buried in my Storage room. One day i will have a room for all The books and all The dvds i just don’t like lol
I never buy the romances from Book of the Month even if I want to read them because holding a hardcover romance book just feels wrong somehow. Plus those are some of the only books that are initially released as paperbacks, convenience for the wallet!
Heartless is an Alice in Wonderland retelling about the Queen of Hearts. It was very atmospheric and I liked Meyer's Wonderland, but the instalove was waaay to heavy and I did not like the romance at all.
The Fantasy Fanatic truth be told, I probably would have DNF’d if I weren’t so busy working on an illustration project. I didn’t enjoy it to start cause it just too PERKY. But I’m a sucker for characters, so I warmed to the story
OMG i love that top where in the world did you get it......it is like the perfect combination of fall fashion and hufflepuff aesthetic....my badger heart needs it

Omg I’m so happy the covers are converting back
Just saw pinned post lol
*talking about A Great and Terrible Beauty* “It’s not TERRIBLE but I just didn’t think it was GREAT” (I got a kick out of this word choice whether it was intentional or not)
Omg did not notice ahaha
I noticed this too 😂
Reagan you have self control, you just don’t have SHELF-control 😂❤️
Honestly lacking both. She lives for books!! ❤
MAJA I DIDN’T KNOW YOU WATCHED REGAN 😄
Omg lol 😂 hi Adela! Nice to see u here 😁and yep I watch Reagan 👍😂❤️
Heartless is definitely a Alice in wonderland retelling taking the POV of the queen of hearts 😂 but I still love you
Hahaha OooOPs
I'll be honest, I started the book a couple years ago and I ended up not finishing it. Its in my son's room and I have it there because it looks cool. 🙊 from what I remember, it talks about why the queen was so evil and what led up to her becoming that way.
Kindle is such a life savior when you have shelf space issues !
I can’t read on Kindle, the book becomes uninteresting to me and my eyes hurt. Especially with long books I just hate it. I wish I could like it because it would be cheaper and reduce my book piles but I just can’t 📚
You should definitely start with Juliet Marillier's Daughter of the Forest trilogy. They are so good!
That’s the one I plan to start with!
@@PeruseProject Nice!!!
Juliet Marillier's Daughter of the Forest is a masterpiece. It will break your heart and put it back together again.
I love watching other people unhaul their books... I don’t like doing it myself 😂
This is one of the reasons I love my kindle so much! You don’t run out of space - no need to unhaul :) no dusting, all the books at your disposal...
Heartless is actually a prequel to Alice in wonderland lol 😂 ❤️😁🤣
Your nail polishes are always so so so cute. You actually made me buy my first sezane jumper and now i cant look back haahah thanks! You should really do a closet tour through your favourite pieces!!!
I've been getting rid of my books for a year now and I love all the space! lol I kept all the physical books I LOVE and will read again. Despite having less physical books, I've been reading more than I have in YEARS. I've been reading books on my Kindle.

Your sweater looks so cute and cozy!
Congratulations on 300k subscribers! Woohoo! 🎉🎉 Love your videos!
If you donate them to your library, you can check them out when you want to read them
Congratulations on 300k subscribers, Regan!! ❤💕🎉🎉🎊
The Bone Season is actually reverting back to its original covers
You should really read American Royals. I’ve just finished it and LOVED IT. It has politics, romance and banter.. the perfect mix!! I truly fell in love with all the characters. REALLY RECOMMEND
I plan to! I just had two copies which is why I was getting rid of one!

They say you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover but I totally do a lot 😁
Oh shadowfell! I enjoyed that book and the 2nd one. No one ever talks about that one.
if your ceiling is high enough, maybe check out the extra billy shelf you can put on top of your bookshelves?
As a suggestion, perhaps you should reorganize the books on your shelves and in your home. Especially with your Fall decorating idea, you could perhaps find new ways to organize your books for space. You could also get a skinny bookshelf to add to the ones in the background of your videos.

All of the future bone season books are going to be released in the original style
Also the original hardcovers are out of print so if you donate the mime order... you’ll have to pay a pretty penny to get another one to match the set
Yeeees JULIET MARILLIER is a must read I adore her books specially the Sevenwaters trilogy! Shadow fell was a bit disappointing
All of the next bone season books are gonna be in the same style as the first ones!! But I get the frustration I have the same problem with the song rising hahaha but the series is amazinnggg 🥰
The immortals series was my absolute favorite series in middle school 😍

It does so much!! Thank you!
It’s so satisfying to unhaul books!
I recently cleaned out my book closet and shipped some books to a local charity!
yayy you hit 300K !! congrats!!
You should totally read American Royals! It was such a fun and quick read! Also the sequel comes out this fall!
You should make a Fave Folklore Stories, for all the mystical magical fae and mermaid books you loved!
Heartless is actually an Alice in Wonderland retelling focusing on the Queen of Hearts!
The Bone Season is going back to the original covers!!!

Seafire is a pirate book
American Royals is so good and full of all the teenage angst that you need every once and awhile in a book haha!
The dollmaker of Krakow is one of the sweatest book I read this year, it’s a sweet perspective on a terrible event

You're enthusiasm always has the power to pull me out of a reading slump.. apparently even when you're doing a unhaul😄
Don't miss out on Juliet Marillier's Blackthorn and Grimm series. It is only three books but I would like more.😍
Will be sure to add it to the list
I didn't like Renegates neither but Heartless by Marissa is one of my favorite book ❤️ wonderful

CONGRATS ON 300K ♥️♥️♥️
OMG i love that top where in the world did you get it......it is like the perfect combination of fall fashion and hufflepuff aesthetic....my badger heart needs it
Can you do a book shelf tour?? ❤️
Even though the immortals was the first Tamora Pierce I read as a young kid, they remain my least favourite of her series ( and yes I am confidently included the non tortall series' of hers that I haven't actually read in that statement. The book of Essie I liked but I don't see it as something that would align strongly with your taste or blow you away.
If you love atmospheric dark forest type books I would highly recommend Uprooted by Naomi Novik.
Im rebuilding my library again
I really think you'd like The Aurora Cycle by Amie Kauffman and Jay Kristoff! The first two books are out.
The first books mentioned are from my favourite series 😭😭😭
