I know, eh? Then here I am, looking like Edgar Allan, feckin', Poe, with the DEEPEST black circles under my eyes, looking entirely exhausted. lol and she looks fantastic.
So, I visited Rotterdam with a friend last week. On the last day we took a trip to Delft, solely cause I saw the city in your videos. And it's absolutely amazing! We ended up staying there until midnight which was not the plan. But there is such a lively yet chill atmosphere all around, I really soaked it up. Thank you for drawing my attention to this town!
In 10th grade my class went on a 5 day trip to the Netherlands and it was a waste to say the least, we didn't get nearly enough free time to explore Amsterdam or Rotterdam by ourselves. Since I live in Germany it wouldn't be the hardest thing to board a train that goes to the Netherlands, but still, there's barely anything memorable from that time and it's kind of sad since it was also our last school trip before graduation.
I love seeing her in her new home. As pretty as it was in her old room, I love the fact that she now has more space to walk on and have fun on. I love that for her. This house is also very pretty and comfy looking.
Interview with a Vampire is one of the best books I've read..also sticking with the Vampire theme..The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova is an absolute superb read. ✨✨
Came here to say the same thing….I always do a double take when my two worlds intertwine lol. SDV does have the best video game soundtrack ever though….
@@lisaleguiader2138 Sure! Randi Lynn Reed, Alexandra Roselyn, Haley Post, Morgan Long, Darling Desi, Leora Aileen, Gabbyreads, Carter Sullivan, Stuffcelinedoes
@@lisaleguiader2138 oh and also cottage fairy! she has a lot of videos that are very cozy for the seasons. she's on a hiatus for new videos on youtube (recently had a baby), but she has a ton from the last several years.
If i’ve learned ANYTHING about my reading over the last couple years…it’s that i’ll almost never read “seasonal” books during the season that’s most appropriate for them in my head. I’m just almost never in the mood when the season comes & if i push it i’ll end up in a slump. That being said though, I’m in the middle of Slewfoot for a book club right now & absolutely loving it!! I know that’s a fan favorite on this channel & i’m now a fan as well
I've got the opposite situation: I want to read only autumn vibes books but in my city (in Sicily, Italy) is not autumn at all and it makes me sad...I'm sick of hot days!😥
I just started reading "Monstrillio" - I began reading it on my break at work and immediately became self conscious about all the faces I was making reading it. I was really not prepared for the opening of this book, but I'm still really liking it so far. 😊
I loveeeee a good sisterhood of the traveling book moment! I have a book going around with my friends and we're all annotating it in different colors. Can't wait to see what it looks like when everyone is done with it! ♥
The Will of the Many is so good! It was my last 5-star read and I got through it in like 2 days! I couldn't put it down. I definitely understand having to be in the mood for it though😊
omg i was watching your channel from my main account, and when the video started with my music playing i actually squealed aloud 😭💕 thank you so much for using it!! (i'm also currently reading The Will of the Many right now too!! also loved Thornhedge, highly recommend)
Appreciate the 'we don't always need to look pretty'. Very affirming. I loved Thornhedge! I recommend the audiobook though, the narrator does a really good job and i think the story works well more like a bedtime fairytale
I loved the Will of the Many my favourite read of the year so far. I loved your seasonal walk and the cosy night in with your friends, there was all the Autumnal vibes we could ask for.
I really recommend you to watch the tv show of interview with the vampire too aside from reading the book because it’s a really interesting adaptation with incredible actors and topics.
If you have yet to read The Secret History by Donna Tartt, I find it to be very autumnal but also somewhat wintery if you’re looking for a book between seasons
"The Book Leo, your videos are a delightful escape into the world of literature! I love how you bring books to life with your engaging storytelling and insightful commentary. Keep up the amazing work-I'm excited to see what book you'll explore next!"
!The House in the Cerulean Sea! by T.J. Klune! ✨It's such a cozy, magical read! Linus, a case worker for magical kids, gets sent to an island orphanage with the most adorable and quirky kids-a gnome, a sprite, a wyvern, and the ANTICHRIST - who really is just such a cute and mischievous trouble-maker. The charm and warmth of this story really hit home, plus the relationships and growth is just beautiful. If you're looking for something fun and heartwarming, definitely give this one a shot!
Left The Netherlands today and am in Bruges. Was in Delft for 2 days (and some cities too over the week) and even popped to Leiden too; thanks for your recommendations! We loved both but Delft was our favourite. ❤ hope you’ve settled in all okay. Can’t wait to visit again! Love the cosy vibes of the video 🎃 🍂 ☕️ xxxx
I bought Rewitched on a whim even though I almost never read this genre, and I LOVED it. I also love, love, love your little pizza ghosties! I must make some too! I'm so glad you got past your reading slump. Sometimes we get so hooked on what we think we SHOULD be reading that we forget to think outside the box, or rather, the think outside the should.
I loved House of Hollow and i think you will love the vibes! Dark fairy tale, rotting flowers, dark forest etc I dnfed our share of night, too many unecessaries tw (imo) 😥 I would love to read what moves the dead this autumn too 😍
LOVED The Will of the Many! I'd encourage people not to be put off by the fact that it wasn't the right time for Leonie to read it! I'm also super happy with The Storygraph as a reading tracker and would definitely recommend!
„Wo don‘t always need to look pretty“ made you instantly the prettiest! That are such true Words! 😊 Also Love the video! (Well I need to watch it first, but I already know, I‘ll love it!)
Loved Carmilla and the House of Hollow. Interview with the Vampire is good too but i liked AMC TV show more than the book 😶 and it is the perfect series for autumn.
Just started using Fable and I love it! Very intuitive and fun to use, I also like that you can add shows that you're watching, i hope they add movies, too.
i really really recommend getting to house of hollow this fall!! definitely has very spooky vibes. also if you like characters slowly turning into a monster, hell followed with us has a character that fits that description. the book does have a lot of potentially triggering content so i would recommend searching up tws. it also has a creepy cult-like organization involved lol
I hope you love The Will of the Many! It’s been one of my favorite reads this year! What Moves the Dead is so good, and I’m finally reading Nettle & Bone right now! T. Kingfisher’s writing is the most delightful.
I think you'll really love What Moves The Dead! It's actually a retelling of Poe's The Fall of The House of Usher, which I didn't know when I started reading it. And yes the story does have the vibes of the cover!
Swordheart by T Kingfisher is one of my all time favorite fantasy romances!! Highly highly recommend that one, especially because i know we have similar taste with fantasy romances
LOL!! Also reading The Will of the Many AND in a bit of a reading slump. I feel like its taken forever to get to pg 178, but so excited you said it gets easier after the 200 mark!!
Two creepy thriller books I really enjoyed are The Whisper Man and The Shadows from Alex North, might reread them if nothing else is interesting enough for me to read at the moment.
“Maybe I’ll make myself look pretty. No, we don’t always need to look pretty” says one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen ❤
Leonie is always gorgeous
I thought the same thing when I heard that!
I was about to comment the same thing!!
Ma'am is already pretty what 😭

I LOVE THAT BOOK AND WILL DEFEND IT WITH MY LIFE! So underhyped!
The Historian is amazing and should be on more Dark Academia lists!
Yes it definitely is an amazing read.. I love that book.
