The thing with these survival games is they are always in development, filled with bugs not many animals released etc. I wish there was just one survival game hub where all the devs worked together but can work on different genres like dinosaur games or animal games etc.

I feel like this game is slept on A LOT, but Wolfquest AE is probably the BEST realistic survival animal game out there, if you're looking for real accuracy and challenge. This game doesn't even compare to the attention-to-detail in Wolfquest, and I don't know why people don't talk about it more.

seconding this, wolfquest is geniunely such a good game.
Ik but tbf it is a demo, but honestly like everything that I was like, oh this could be better, I would compare it to mainly wolfquest, but also Real life, like sure leopards don't live in large groups, but what about elephants? Giraffes? wish it was more realistic, and while I feel like they'll improve something tells me things like that won't be added. (Sry I rambled a bit)
primal earth is probably the best animal survival game, its the most realistic and has the best graphics so far

So fun fact about secretary birds: they kick with a force of up to 195 Newtons, which is about five times their body weight. They often use it on snakes and other small animals, they just kick the shit outta them crushing their bones and what not.

There's another game very similar to this one, though it also is still a WIP with its bugs but was fun when I played it last. It's called Animalia Survival. Just throwing this comment out there for people who enjoy games like this so they have an extra game to check out if they didn't already know of its existence.

In real life, the watering hole is dangerous.
One going for a drink never knows what will strike when.
It could be a croc hidden in the water. Or a pack of lions sneaking up behind you.
Several predators use watering holes as bait and hunting grounds due to the fact that all animals are driven to drink eventually cuz of that hot sun.
these devs seems way to confident lol when a small dev says im gonna make a amazing game, way better than gta and red dead ect and a massive list off things there gonna do with only 1 available..... i just see them giving up fast, i really hope im wrong. that UI needs alot of work though its horrible
i just tried out the game for myself, waterholes spawn like 30+ animals at once and make the game lag, growth doesnt work at all, combat is clunky, everything is clunky, it has pretty graphics but if its a bad game there's no point in even playing
@@owleander true, but bugs, lag and optimization are the typical issues of an early access game, as long as there actively developing we can hope they will iron the issues out

One thing I can definitely say they need to update is their HUD. xD Good vid though.
That was the developer HUD for seeing information. The newest update removed that HUD and added a player HUD.

More people should play WolfQuest, the next update is called saga, and it's going to make it to where, after you keep your pups safe and raise them and all that, they can grow old with you and you can then play as one of them, to continue the family line. There's more to it like a whole pack idk, the information is on their website. Also this game looks really good, I hope it gets good updates! :)

There's tons of horse games, dog games, cat games, even a wolf game, but no games like this idea and concept, with all types of animals, etc., maybe even different maps/places with different animals. A multiplayer on this after the game gets better would be a great idea!
there are MANY games like this one! Just like this one, they never get a full release and are a buggy mess... check out the animal survival category!

Secretary birds are the closest thing to a velociraptor we have in the world. A legit 4ft tall bird that can kick with upwards of 60 pounds of force. Not to be a nerd but lepords usually have really small litter between 1 and 2 cubs ,and tge reason your mom walks slow is to conserve energy ,in the wild you never know when your next meal is gonna be so you cant waste energy ,and your mom as powerful as she is can do much to protect you from lions hyenas ,large bovids or even male leopards
Watering holes tend to be peaceful as long as theres enough water and enough herbs. Generally when carnivores go to watering holes they arent hungry, so thats why they dont attack.
Watering holes are also places where crocodiles hide, and lions can wait to ambush prey close. Lol so not true

The fact the birds have urine is really not accurate. It all just kind of comes out in one and they don't have actual pee like mammals do. It's usually solid and whiteish although sometimes it can also be a kind of almost oily liquid from what I've seen.

There are a lot of these animal survival games and they aren't really good. They are made by small groups. It might be better if the people who develop them come together, combine their ideas and agree on something they can all work on. This way a good game might be made. It's sad to see these games die. Hopefully, this one succeeds.
