Thank you for showing this. Multi Power can be challenging because not all parts are available. It took me two years to find a good used pump for my 1964 MF 35.
Nice job Lance ! It would be great if you did a video on the multipower pump My tractor has an auxiliary pump that piggybacks on to the mf pump. Thanks again.
Question for you Lance! I have a 1973 mf50A. Idk how this instant reverse works but I’m trying to diagnose the reason behind not being able to drive forward. I know I was missing one of the output shaft tube seals but I’m not sure if that would kill my ability to drive forward and I want to make sure I look over all possible causes before I put it all back together. Just to clarify, I’m referring to the 2 steel ring seals that are on the end on the output shaft and slide into the input shaft, not the butt connection rings that the clutch packs slide over. I have new clutch discs and plates in both packs and a new pump. Linkage on the pedals appears to be solid as well. Can you tell me what these little steel ring seals function as and if it can be my main culprit here? Also, is there a way to test the operation of my clutch pack assembly through an air test like you did in this video? My clutch pack looks pretty different so I’m not sure where I would connect air to.
I think the rings would seal the oil pressure going to the clutch pack or brake and would be important indeed, work out your oil flow and you will see how to air test the packs, it is well worth spending some time on that I believe it will pay dividends.

@@BundyBearsShed Thanks Lance. I feel a lot better about replacing the ring and getting it all back together.
Great video Lance - is this your shortest? 😂
Probably but straight to the point.
