Just awesome Emily. My all time favourite 80’s song by far. Exceptional guitar work and voice work. Maggie Reilly really was something special in this song and Mike Oldfield was at the top of his game. I really wish new music was this good today.

When I was about 15, I used to listen to the Beatles, who were just then emerging in the United States, on a small transistor radio while I threw my paper route. The route took about an hour and a half to complete, but I think I could've continued it for hours because I was simply transported by sheer delight in the music.
This comes to mind because it's kind of that way for me, listening to Emily. I mean, I don't have a paper route anymore, or a transistor radio, but other than that the experience is pretty similar. The young lady has an awesome gift, along with the great good sense to make something of it, it would certainly appear. Perhaps she has great work to do in the world.

Very clear voice as such a very young lady! My most favourite thing done by Mike. Who was a very young man when he made Tubular Bells. I really like how Maggie has a slight Glasgow accent in her voice... Like when she sings the word "shadow", but your voice is also very pure and soft and sweet too.
