The Voidsea is comparable to the fraying ends on a fabric. I believe that's what the name "What Mends Shall Fray" refers to
even considering the phrase "fabric of reality" makes it so the fraying ends are basically where reality starts to dilute itself.

this is genuinely what deepwoken is all about, this dark and atmospheric ambience really makes you FEEL immersed, these types of tracks are definitely a big part of why i like deepwoken so much personally.

a few days back, me and my friend farmed umbral at viper's jaw and set out to void sea to get me shadow, my friend was driving recklessly as a power 20 and spawned kaido, almost one shot him but i made it to the depths (I didn't even get shadow because i died and he wiped in depths after being decimated by funny dragon), fun times

I once tried to find kaido for like 4 hours, my friend had to log because real life problems and I just wandered a bit because my reset was on cooldown.. but on that moment, a goddamn kaido's shadow appeared and goddamn I killed it, after I went back to my boat I wanted to go back to etris without reseting AND GODDAMN ANOTHER KAIDO SPAWNED ON ME

What mends shall fray
My friends and I back in early verse 1 wanted to fight the fabled Dread Serpent everyone called Kaido. One of them couldn’t stay on the ironclad because it kept making him slide off. We thought of Kaido as the Ender Dragon going into it since we did everything else the game offered besides Ferryman. Kaido murked like half of us and idk how the rest survived. Great moment, great game, great ost for where you meet one of the coolest but least fun enemies to fight. 11/10

I'm pretty sure thats the point. It's meant to represent that the is is the end of the world, end of all things. To represent that there is no life going on, there is no music going on. Only eerie ambience. (Of course in lore there is a civilization in the void sea but yeah)

If you want something similar, listen to "A Sarabade of Thunder", the first part of the Ferryman bossfight.
Come to think of it, I don't even think that song was even meant for the Voidheart. I'm guessing it was probably made for the Ferryman, but then Naktigonis scrapped it and the Deepwoken devs had nowhere else to place it, so they placed it inside the Voidheart as they assumed no one would be going there anytime soon. Just a guess, tho.
@@veris8861 ah allow me to fill you in on what I heard. Apparently the voidheart theme was originally made for a place called Corvus manor. The place seems to have been cut or moved to another Luminant however and the song went unused. I guess the devs decided to reuse it for the voidheart.
