  • Mary Magdalene wrestled with demons most of her life, tormented by her past and all that had happened to her. Unable to shake free from them, she wallowed in despair and misery. Until Jesus found her and freed her from her demons, calling her by her name, and asking her to follow Him. She was redeemed. However, in the time to come, without warning, she began to resort back to her old ways; whatever redemption she had received from Jesus, what use was it if she was going to eventually throw it all away. She was brought back to Jesus, and He reassured her that He knew she was going to forsake Him even before He saved her. Jesus knew what kind of person she was, because He knew her heart. He forgave her, and Mary fell into Jesus' arms crying tears of repentance.
    Often times we think that once Jesus heals us of our sins, then we will never sin again nor be bombarded with evil or bad things ever again. Living for Jesus is not a business agreement, it is a relationship, one that constantly has its ups and downs. He wants us to come to him, to constantly seek him, and we have to make the decision whether or not cry out to God for forgiveness, or wallow away with our guilt and shame apart from God.

    I love the way you put this video together encompassing the scenes from the show so beautifully. I was once tormented and controlled by demons that took me to the dark places, but like Mary Yeshua called me by my name and drew the demons out and filled me with His Spirit. No more insane asylums, no more bondage lifestyle. Oh what a Savior! to love someone such as me and to set me free. I am in my right mind, clothed and at His feet. All praise and honor to Yeshua the Messiah. I'm so thankful that His mercy found me and drew me out of the pit. 😭🙌🙏💖

    That’s the thing with being a Christian. It’s not the Lord we don’t have faith in, it’s ourselves because we realise how much of sinners we are and don’t feel worthy. But the Lord still loves us all very much and only wants our hearts that we’ve already given to him. We have moments trapped but he still heals us and makes us move forward ✝️🛐🙏 praise the Lord

    Mary became my favorite after seeing this. Even not knowing a lot about her just makes her so relatable.

    The scenes were well chosen and edited. Elizabeth Tabish has done a Breathtaking job with the material presented. Mr Jenkins and the writers have done excellent work on the whole of the show. "Yellowstone" has absolutely nothing that is in any way superior to "The Chosen".

    I loved the overlap with young Mary's voice and Elizabeth Tabish's voice on the scripture from Isaiah. And the ending felt unfinished, but I am guessing that is unintentional, because we don't really know where Mary Magdalene's story is going next.

      Yeah, I can only do as much as what is given to me. It's only season 2, five more to go, and I can't wait to officially resolve her story. I was also hinting at the fact that maybe Mary is officially ok this time, which I think is true with a lot of us, including me.

      @@JonathanMuncherian it was certainly a dramatic place to end this video! And as usual the quality makes for excellent viewing. Those were the two things that stood out to me, though.
      Any thoughts on things you might try next?

    All this talk about demons, I know this show portrays them right. Being manipulated, evilly cunning, and know how to tempt. But today, shows are seen where demons are good. I seen shows like Owl House and clips of Lucifer and Wendell and Wild where they are those traits before, but once they meet the hero and interact, somehow, the demon changes. They start to feel “what if…,” like what if they were good, what if they don’t have to show their are evil? what if they can still be powerful and still be friends with the good hero? What’s that about? Are demons known to change? Because they were angels. But can they have humanity?

    • @mitchmiller7204
      @mitchmiller7204 Рік тому +1

      @jillevers1432. When the demons and Satan sinned, they were in the very presence of God in Heaven, and thus had no excuse for their rebellion. They knew who Yahweh was, so therefore they were confirmed in their rebellion forever. Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44 NASB). The devil and his demons both have the nature of evil. It cannot be changed. Demons can indwell a body, but they cannot have humanity, which is created in the image of God.

    May all men conspire to end the sexual violence against women and girls. May the name of St. Mary of Magdela be separated from the story of the Fallen Woman. 201603/who-framed-mary-magdalene/
