A cold shower doesn't have to mean a freezing cold shower. Its a way to stimulate your lymphatic system so that you help your immune system and your nervous system, this is good for people with anxiety/depression. Starting warm and then gradually getting cooler or going back and forth between hot and cold is good so she actually did it right.
Just taking random vitamins without having a deficiency wont help at all, it's just a waste of money. Super high doses of some vitamins might also be harmful.

Honestly I feel like alot of people would do well following this routine even if it is not strict, making your bed, doing a little bit of exercise or some type of movement that is not walking around the house, meditating, journaling, taking not as hot of showers to possibly help aid in dryness of the skin.
I can't imagine a world where I am able to get up three to four hours before I leave for work at 8am. Just the meditating, reading, journaling, and to-do listing part of this routine is easily an hour and a half to two hours lol I would definitely be more willing to do this if my day started later but for me to accomplish this I would have to get up around 4am.

Most people are somewhat deficient in some micronutrients though and multivitamins don't have a high enough IU dosage to actually cause problems
