A LITTLE FLIT UP TO THE LAKES AFTER WORK, GREAT WEATHER, BEERS, SUNSETS THE LOT. OEX HYENA TENT OUT AGAIN, PERFORMING WELL, IT GOT A BIT CHILLY AT THE SUN DOWN, BUT OVERALL A REALLY GOOD NIGHT.

I really hope Rab is ok! Nothing worse when Ur feeling down, life can be tough for many people, what keeps me going is at least I have my limbs maybe arthritic but still get out on my Tommy the Tortoise walks,! Rab life will improve, best wishes Mark!

@@AndyWardle Yes Andy I hope Rabs health improves, there's loads of things going about at present, On Thursday I felt very unwell all day like a heavy hangover however for a change I didn't have any booze! Tell Rab plenty people are hoping he makes a full recovery soon! Cheers Mark!

That rant reminded me of the time I once sprayed deodorant on me knackers straight out the shower and I had a fire on me shaven bag!! In all seriousness though you're absolutely right. Believe it or not I've never been to Raven Crag, simply because I've heard the stories and seen the pictures of the damage and I'm terrified of being associated with it. I was the same when I camped at Codale Tarn and there was a scorch mark right beside where I pitched. I spent the whole day wondering if the hikers passing by thought it was off me and it messed with my head all day. There's just no need. Loved the video thanks for sharing the experience.

Just looked up the price of that OEX Hyena Tent and was shocked how reasonably priced it is compared to similar ridiculously priced tents that look and perform the exact same. Some of these Outdoors companies product prices are severely talking the piss!.

Great watch Andy. 100% agree with your comments about the utter idiots destroying Raven Crag. I haven’t been out since May and when you see incidents like Raven Crag, it does put u off going out with the fear of being tarred with the same brush. Boils my urine. Keep up the good work mate 👍

I've got the same OEX Hyena 2. I've had it out in howling winds and torrential rain and it's stood up to all of it. Bone dry inside and rock solid on the ground. I think I paid about £55-£60 for it, it's a winner.
