if she explained all of her other songs in depth with complete details and backstories and shit, i *would* legit watch it, likee,, she’s so creative.. she can’t be human. miss u lorde
@Kurt Loder ignore mr henderson over here, hes a little troll thats dying to get attention. hell shit on any other pop artist besides lorde just to get a rise out of random people. best you leave him to his own self until he can behave himself :)
She’s so rare and authentic and mesmerizing and beautiful and intense and she loves every second of music and I understand her so much, she’s the most passionate woman in music and I adore her so much.
watched this twice in 24 hours already... i miss lorde so much. she’s so relatable even just jamming to her own music. she’s really just a normal person who became famous. but at the same time, she’s also a genius with this innate talent for music. i’m so happy she’s one of the people on this crazy planet with me
Wtf shes a genius when she said she snapped it back from the forest to the chorus i thought it was brilliant. She understands the beauty of pop music ♡♡♡
It’s awesome that she made that song Green Light, with Jack Antonoff of all people, it’s just perfect. I didn’t get her music, until I listened to Pure Heroine strait through about three times, that was the epiphany that changed my perception of music, for sure, that and the song I Wanna Get Better by Bleachers.
2:01 "Greenlight that ended up being this totally treasure box of these memories and moments and colours layered on top of each other, you know?" I love the way she talks about her art. Her perfect choice of words and the way she describes her songs by linking them to her synesthesia.
Oh thank goodness thank you for posting this, I thought she just did that first one on Royals and back to the desert drought we go, since she isn't gonna be in the series finale apparently. Finding this brought some much needed relief. Ella was sooo pure here
"This is my favorite part and its funny because its something that probably no one will ever hear" Proceeds to solo my personal favorite vocal part in the song.
That comment kind of rubs me the wrong way, of course not every listener will catch up all the production intricacies , but that part (as pretty as it is) isn't even well hidden. It immediately stands out to me
I've seen a lot of artists live in concert, but none of them are like Lorde. She puts so much emotion and thought into her shows, it's incredible. I saw her in 2017 and cried basically throughout the whole concert and to this day that hasn't happened since.
Coming back after the release of 'Solar Power' and I just LOVE the way she talks about the music, how it's made, and how it makes her feel. The way each album signifies an entirely different mood and outlook on life just really helps me resonate with her. Can't wait for the rest of the album!!!!
You can see how she care planned and made this songs.. and is obviously the reason why she was disappointed when she didn't win the album of the years she had put all her efforts and passion there and that's why the album was so good.. but someone else wins it because of fame.. yes she indirectly or directly portrayed that she was disappointed when she didn't win in the particular scene in her Music Video "Secrets from a Girl who seen it all"
if she explained all of her other songs in depth with complete details and backstories and shit, i *would* legit watch it, likee,, she’s so creative.. she can’t be human. miss u lorde
@@graemehenderson1743 :o pikachu

Dude I miss her so much
Jairo Alvarez What happened to her. After that masterpiece of an album, I haven’t heard from her.
Vibe well she made melodrama but she’s still internet ghosting:(( i miss her sm
Me too 😭😭
Man i think im in love again.
she's in the process of making her 3rd album but then her dog died so there's a delay, I'd say middle of next year (2020)

Arpitha “behind melodrama”! It goes into every song
Absolutely
She’s so rare and authentic and mesmerizing and beautiful and intense and she loves every second of music and I understand her so much, she’s the most passionate woman in music and I adore her so much.

Tennis Court, Bravado, Buzzcut Season... so so underrated
Kwakeka Mdivasi The Louvre & Supercut
Lou Birch + hard feelings/loveless
“the forest” is beautiful and the guitar is the unsung hero of this song
Jennifer Bahena literally the guitar in that last part just makes me wanna dance
The forest is my fav part of the song especially the fast guitar that plays before the chorus
no one:
lorde: guitaaaaaa
SKDJKHFDSK HOW ELSE ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO SAY IT??
SKSKWKSKWKSKKW😂💀
That's how kiwis pronounce it... Not just Lorde lmao.
"happiness and sadness" perfectly describes green light
lorde is the singer who can goes on missing for years and still be relevant
You can tell how much she loves making music I love it. I can't freaking wait until the 3rd album comes out
You wish granted.
Wtf shes a genius when she said she snapped it back from the forest to the chorus i thought it was brilliant. She understands the beauty of pop music ♡♡♡
i'll never regret the money spent to go see her in concert. truly an honor
invested
Lorde: you cant really dance to royals

Man, I love lorde’s art. Thank you for giving this to us.
So many people don’t know how genius she is. She’s literally so amazing and I’m suprised more people aren’t fans.
Lorde is so authentic, I can't wait to listen to a new album of her.
Agree....

CallMeLexis well ya she doesn’t use Instagram so she seems dead
2:01 "Greenlight that ended up being this totally treasure box of these memories and moments and colours layered on top of each other, you know?"
I love the way she talks about her art. Her perfect choice of words and the way she describes her songs by linking them to her synesthesia.
she's actually brilliant. a true artist in her craft
lorde is who the world has so badly needed these past 50+ years of hyper-excessive western materialism
Oh thank goodness thank you for posting this, I thought she just did that first one on Royals and back to the desert drought we go, since she isn't gonna be in the series finale apparently. Finding this brought some much needed relief. Ella was sooo pure here
She really does have a gift.
She is so talented!
honestly I wanna be Lorde when I grow up, even though she's a female and like 5 years younger
That’s great though your young and you can work on your singing voice, learn and instrument and work on writing songs. Good luck
@@coderainbow2581 haha thank you! I have nothing to do with music though haha, meant mostly the way she is, I wanna be her :)
Arseni Chubich oh lol..um move to NZ and curl your hair?

Her come back is going to be phenomenal
I hope she (Herself) Does come back within my lifetime...
I've seen a lot of artists live in concert, but none of them are like Lorde. She puts so much emotion and thought into her shows, it's incredible. I saw her in 2017 and cried basically throughout the whole concert and to this day that hasn't happened since.
She’s just. Such a genius. God I miss her
Can we take a moment and enjoy “The Forest” at its fullest?
never heared the forests in actual song, made me cry now
"The perfect thing to me is that happiness and sadness" never related more to anything
She's amazing
Came here from twitter: she's amazing
How beautiful you are lorde like a angel from heaven
I loved her back then and I love her even more now. She looks happy and so much brighter than before.
she is phenomenal 🥺
She looks so beautiful
She brings the quality that old songs had.... The magic of music... She's got it... Legend... ❤
love this interview forreal
Gosh I miss her and her music so much
She seems like a really interesting human being and really passionate about music. So cool!
Her synaesthesia is so evident in the way the articulation of how she wants the song to sound is so visual
i luv her sm man

chills. absolute chills.
This song is explosive!
Something about her . It calms me and I feel like connect with her music. It's like she's there.

I want to hear her explanation on The Louvre and Writer in The Dark so much...
i miss her :(
Real artist
She's so happy here, she's so herself. In some interviews she seems tired, giving generic answers. But she's in her zone here.
What a gorgeous human, damn!
“The future of music”
who's here after the announcement of SOLAR POWER ☀️☀️☀️
she’s a legend
💖
Can't wait to finally see her in year 3415 when she'll drop her album
She really is a gifted songwriter, there’s no denying that.

She has like 3 accents going on at once
Nah that's the stereotypical Auckland Shore girl accent.
Just came back from Solar Power, i really need this kind of documentary with Solar Power!!
