    Put this on another post but it fits here too: Have you ever been in the position where you are doing the right thing and everyone else isn't? That's being a Sheepdog. What is hard for the Sheepdog is that the path it takes is usually where one walks alone. This was this week's topic for my own subscribers but it fits here too. The Sheepdog will suffer. Here is how you alleviate that lonesome walk of doing right. You look at the other dogs in the kennel. Eliminate the ones that don't know what they are talking about. That's 50% gone. Then the ones who are afraid to hunt. Another 25% gone. Then the ones who hunt but only for themselves--another 20% gone. The 5% left are the Sheepdogs. They aren't allowed near the kennel because the other dogs start snarling and barking. Why? Because the Sheepdog makes 50% look unintelligent, 25% look cowardly and 20% selfish. So the Sheepdog is condemned to walk the ridgeline alone. But the key to inner peace which took me 15 years to realize in the corrupt healthcare field I practice in is this: realize you can't make a regular dog into a Sheepdog. You don't get angry, you treat them with indifference. And you will see that other Sheepdogs will periodically pass you on other ridgelines. And others will gravitate toward you as well--because people would rather you hate them then not acknowledge them at all. And some will possibly get a little better. Hope this helps someone out there---Charles

    Whatever makes you happy, is the right the right thing to do...

    • @Tippy2forU
      @Tippy2forU 2 роки тому

      That's ego. What makes you happy might harm others so it isn't the right thing to do. Think about how what you do might affect others is the right thing to do. Completing phone scams might make you happy because you might be able to feed your family but it isn't the right thing to do. It isn't the honorable thing to do. It hurts others because they have money under false pretenses and may not be able to pay their bills. In many cases it is the elderly being harmed and that's terrible.

    * U are speaking about the right to move next the date of die
    * If u help someone... u do it, cuz u are aducated to do it
    * U dont know why u do it... but u do it
    * Maybe cuz it humanize urself= u are speaking about ferocity
    * It means a slowly dying
    * U dont save a life to see it dying slowly= people wanna see it, cuz it is beauty
    * It is the same people who criticize, and when the beauty comes.. pay to see, and they market a product... not the value
    * Market rules.. quite all agree... but quite all who thinks like u= it works
    * So it all destroy itself, cuz what it works has quite never a sane moral= it is called reality
    * When a lie convince it all... just an easy man can find the solution... the truth, and the right thing to do!!= it always works (even if u dont become billionaire= sometimes u want also to be appreciated, also with salary= people want to see people die, not survive.. it is called courage)

      Life happens for us not to us, maybe change your perspective. If someone shows you their true colors then you now know they aren’t worthy of your trust and you can find someone that is.

    The right thing to do would have been cheered on the girl so neither one would be disqualified

    If both runners were disqualified how is that right? Yes the person felt good about helping someone who fell in a race but to say it was the right thing to do is their own perspective. If Usain Bolt didn’t stop and help someone get up in a race while missing his opportunity for a world record, would that be wrong? I dont necessarily agree with the race analogy but it was a matter of grace on the runner who helped.

    The long distance runner's act of helping the fallen girl didn't cost her anything. She was going to lose anyway. 14th or 15th out of 15 means nothing. If she stopped to help while in second place, that would be impressive.
