Cool details I think are worth mentioning: 1. Zera the Mant is Zera's sword. 2. The Maiden seems to be based on Lilith. You can even see a female symbol in Condemned Maiden's eye-patch and in the chain in her dress. 3. While all Darklords need to fall to the graveyard to be summoned to the field, Nasten is the only Darklord that can be summoned directly from the Hand, because he plays both sides at once, as Contact and Sanctified shows. Also, it is implied Condemned Darklord summons Darklord Morningstar into heaven by Sacrificing Nasten, because in Forbidden Droplet we see various little shadows consuming Nasten as the Maiden pours the droplet onto him -- those shadows are from Tribute Burial, a card with the same effect as Condemned Darklord. The story seems to basically depict the combo of Condemned Darklord banishing Nasten from the GY to tribute summon Morningstar, thus tutoring Indulged from the deck and Caprious to the opponent, and using Uprising to fuse Condemned, Indulged and Morningstar into the First Darklord. 4. Nergal seems to be a corrupted Nasten made of Tribute Burial spirits.

I also appreciate your fairhanded and direct approach to explaining the cards and their inspiration without bashing on Christianity as most people seem to do when discussing the Darklord cards.
I love the Darklord archetype. Probably my favorite in the entire game. The lore & inspirations are awesome and the artwork is wonderfull Its also kinda crazy that the story, so far, ends on the massive cliffhanger of Condemned being revealed to have taken over The Sanctuary In The Sky (basically Heaven) after presumably destroying Solemn's physical form Something I assume Morningstar wouldn't take lightly as he wants the Sanctuary for himself. There has to be more aside from the agent cards, sanctuary cards (including those just depicting locations on it), the counter fairies, and the parshath cards.
But the Valuable Book lore doesn't agree with that interpretation. Lucifer is referred to as still intending on defeating God with intent to take over Heaven which puts him at odds with Condemned who just wants to enjoy the act of rebellion, throwing the entire set of Darklords into disarray and in-fighting and it also confirms that Witches' Strike, which shows God calm and with hands behind the back as the attack bounces off of a barrier, is not the Witch "winning" but being completely ineffective at the intended direct attack.
That’s interesting, I can’t seem to find that anywhere. It looks like you’re right about the first Darklord being at odds with Condemned but I don’t see any elaboration on the story. Would you have a link?
@@libertaliagamesupply762 It's in VBEX1, the "Witch's Strike" card doesn't have any description in it but is just used as a context card. However, the card set after Witch's Strike of Condemned Darklord is given the following lore description: "By then, rebellion itself had become the ultimate pleasure for her. Such madness had taken over other Darklords, increasing her influence." which shows her at odds with Lucifer. Indulged and Capricious are noted as having been tempted with words rather than direct power. In contrast, Lucifer's text in the Darklord story is, ""Morningstar" absorbed the Darklords that had lost their power because of the "Condemned Darklord", yet this was also within her calculations. Despite being aware of this, "Morningstar" will stop at nothing in order to take down God." So we know that First Darklord takes place lore-wise after Witch's Strike, and in the text is shows that Lucifer is still fighting Heaven.
