World legacy is definitely my favourite lore series of cards in all of yugioh, i am just sad that from the link dragons and forward the card effects become lamer

Whenever I see a boss card, the first thing I think is "Can I Melffy Puppy-Kalantosa it?". Puppy returns to the Hand when the opponent attacks it or Normal/Special Summons, meaning it triggers off of Azamina's summon. Azamina's ability resolves after Puppy returns to the Hand, allowing Puppy to dodge it. Then, Kalantosa is Special Summoned, which destroys Azamina before she can negate Kalantosa's effect, if I'm correct. So, assuming I am correct, Azamina can be countered by a chibi dog and a succulent bunny, even though her effect should prevent them activating their effects. Who knew effect timing would put her at risk of a famous Melffy tactic?

The fact the field spell locks you out of DARK implies that the azamina may no longer exist, hence why they can't be summoned and corrupt the land once more

Thank god, its annoying when yugioh wants to tell a story across 4 different damn sets. World Chalice did this annoying shit too

I am now satisfied after learning the final bits of this lore, I love the Sinful Spoils story🥲

simply put, the Azamina wrecked total shop in the white forest, and Diabellstar was the only one to escape the corruption and worked to find a way to return and face her evil sister, Diabellze, and the rest of whoever the Azamina had corrupted. as she defeats one enemy after the next, whether its goblin bikers, Flamberge, her sister, the corrupted versions of Silvy and Rucia, she gathers the spoils and then uses them to take on St. Azamina once and for all. Diabellstar singlehandedly wipes out the Azamina and becomes the new guardian of the forest.

Up until now, I only knew Alister as that one really broken deck in Duel Links. Now I really wanna make it for reasons other than its power!

The Lore is so crazy,sadly the Deck is also crazy expensive. Would like to play it someday

Important correction at 9:36 Diabellze is not wearing the earrings from Diabell. Those are the earrings of the unknown Witch from "Play the Diabell" which is later seen dead in "Sinful Spoils Awakening". Also her design is similar to Moa Regina and she is the original owner of Morrian before Elzette takes it from her. We have no idea who she is yet.

I literally play WF/AZ for the lore and arts only, also they're not too bad and have powerful interactions

I do think the Diabell story will continue for one more core set as every other major YGO story had an additional set more than we currently have right now for Diabell. My thinking is that the last bit of lore will involve the Diabell sisters away from the WF, since Poplar is the guardian now. I think the Diabell story will involve Morrian, and the sisters going together to discover the secrets of the Sinful Spoils to possibly restore their sisters back to their human forms. I feel like currently, Sinful Spoils should have actual main deck monsters with Sinful Spoil title. Something like restored sinful spoil and we get back the WF monster in this sinful spoil humanoid forms for them. Morrian sinful spoil could be the key for this possibility of forming sinful spoil humanoid bodies for the WF witches' souls to inhabit. Also, more Diabell cards would fit for their time after Azamina's defeat. I can see Azamina might get one more monster being a goblin biker affected by the Azamina curse that survived. Probably that female goblin biker since Azamina seems to prefer female hosts if they ever revisit the story similar to how Visas and Albaz stories could be revisited with a new arc.

I definitely think Azamina (The golden one) was formed via Diabell’s soul (resting within poplar) fully awakening and trying to take her body back, giving the girls enough time to take out Saint while the original spirit and the possessing demon clashed within.

Isn't the final scene depicting the previous 3 guardians as spirits, implying that, yes, our heroes won and the forest is restored, but the 3 guardians are now gone? A bittersweet ending, but and appropriate one honestly.

Finally Libertalia did the rest of sinful spoils. Hope we will have more cards to tie loose ends. But for now that's it. What's next? Albaz? Duel Terminal? Visas Starfrost?

the new Field spell also restricts you to only play White Forest cards since if you mix with other attributes, it will imply you willingly corrupt the White Forest again.

Another cool fact about Moa Regina's name is that it's an anglicisation from the Irish for Morrigan - Mór Ríoghan [more ree-ghan], meaning Phantom Queen

Is it just me or are the Dragon Rulers either a similar thing or their polar opposites? Like in the World Legacy lore, the Dragons are a force for good, also the Dragon Rulers each embody primal elements and have smaller forms of themselves, there has to be something linking them lore wise

Where are you guys getting the lore from? I’ve seen people talk about the lore behind the cards that haven’t even released yet, does the lore get revealed alongside the cards in Japan or something? Or is everyone just looking at the artworks and coming up with their own interpretation on what’s happening in the art?
