I really liked what she says about living in NY. I did get the feeling from the movie of coziness. Leafy streets, the nearby park, coffee shop where you sit and read a book, the nearby market, hotdog place etc. I love this movie.
A perfect “little” film. My favorite romantic comedy.
Just finished "She Made Me Laugh" written about Nora by Richard Cohen...audiobook version is excellent. Wish I could have met her, such an exceptional woman!

Very sad that we lost her. She impressed me. With her own personal style, her way to lift up people with her movies and the guts to be a director in this obviously hard industry.
She was a delightful and talented woman, for sure. I'd take movies like "You've Got Mail" and "When Harry Met Sally..." any day, over all the superhero crap, computer-generated images, explosions, shootouts, cars chases, and remakes of remakes of remakes.

Check out the one of her and Martha Stewart making different versions of her key lime pie. They both dated the same guy at different times.
Also her and Rob Reiner they are like Harry and Sally. I think he had a little crush on her .
Terrible interviewer Nora says "so much about this movie is personal to me" and he doesn't even ask the obvious follow up question of what was personal. Then he asks random questions about OTHER directors and movies. Hello! You've got mail is a classic!

This interview was infuriating. She sounds so interesting and says interesting things but he is CONSTANTLY interrupting and imposing his point of views. Male reporters are the worst.
Not all male reporters / broadcasters are sexist. But, imo, disgraced Charlie Rose certainty is. RIP Ms. Ephron. ❤

I can't believe how Nora takes relationships with a grain of salt. Nora has taken both Annie in Sleepless and Kathleen in You've Got Mail and she breaks up with her boyfriend and both of them in both movies just shrugs it off like it was no big deal. . . Who lives like that. . . I do not understand why Nora would treat relationships like that . . .
