chrysler 200 2016 limited brake line front tire replacement.

found some sort of oil residue around my tire where I was parked. upon inspection we found that the brake line hose was punctured, at first we wrapped almost a whole entire roll of electrical tape around the punctur while we qait for the part to arrive. every day before driving the car I checked to make sure I was at my with the dot-3 liquid break .
anyways it has been replaced it really doesn't take long to.do so if you make sure you have all the right tools. you will need a 14mm and a 19mm. make sure to put the break in maintenance from the setting in the lcd this way it easier to take the caliper off.
YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE CALIPER OFF, BECAUSE THE WAY THIS HOSE WAS DESIGNED, IT IS SO THAT IT WONT BEAE TO COME OFF WHILE DRIVING. ONE SIDE OF THE HOSE THREADS IN CLOCKWISE AND THE OTHER SIDE COUNTER CLOCKWISE, SO THERE IS WAY YOU CAN INSTALL THIS UNIT WITHOUT TAKING THAT CALIPER OFF

Hi, did your dash give you a "Service Park Brake" and "Service Transmission" warning? If so, did it keep you from putting it in drive? Thanks.

It has tape than poof it’s fixed spent more time jacking the car and take the tire off than how to fix your exhaust break hose as you call it or something like that

Lol not only did I tape it , I put zip ties on top of the tap , and yet it was still leaking by. Sometimes in life your experience might be different from someone else's experience but that doesn't mean that you get to talk ishh about people.stay bless
