Brian, I can’t thank You enough for this “ Old School Cool “ episode!!!!! I got pretty emotional after viewing it and reading all the well wishes in the comments.. I can’t really compose a proper comment right now but it was an honor meeting You!!!! And Y’all don’t worry about me, I know where I’m going, and it’s gonna be a while before that time comes!! Thanks again, Jimmy Hubbard
Very nice to meet you as well !
Have fun and be safe out there Jimmy!
Praying for you Jimmy. Whatever you are going through, Christ is with you. May He fill you with peace and comfort.
Hope all is well Jimmy!
Take it easy Jimmy
10:50 the walk brett does while waiting for paperwork is so relatable 😂
That wrangler was cool. Prayers for Jimmy.
My last pawn shop challenge scored me a 200 dollar 1903 Springfield in 30-06. Was a sporter but still well worth it.
To my Yankee brothers, Southern pawn shops are more like real gun shops than up here.
Went to Larry's in Huntsville, AL on Tiger McKee's rec. Completely floored!
yeah I can tell beltway had so many 1903 models it was crazy. I'm from maine I have seen one of them in my local store (which i bought for 800). I have some family in the carolina's I might have to go visit them on my next vacation.
Larry's In Huntsville and Madison has to be one of the nicest shops I've been to in a while. Out-Post Armory in TN is a great shop too!!
Larry’s has a heck of a variety, pretty high though, if you get the chance check out Bama Pawn on the Beltline in Decatur, and there’s one on 6th avenue that has good prices.
I always thought that’s what pawn shops were supposed to be, gun shops that also bought and sold other valuables
Larry's is solid. Ammo isn't cheap there any more. Guns a fair priced still though.
Good luck Jimmy. Glad you showed Lead Therapy.
Me and my daughter miss going there. Hope they’re doing well.
I remember going to Shooters Express with my Dad growing up in the 80s& early 90s.There and Hyatts Gun Shop in Charlotte, NC
Good luck Jimmy.. you guys are making me want to visit NC. My Gramma was from Maggie Valley and we used to visit family in Gastonia every year when I was very young.
You should!
These challenges are great! This was a tough one, the old school 38 wins, but only cause the Ruger is a retro and was from a time way before the term old school was ever used. Both are great finds. 🤣 That's my logic and sticking to it 😉 Wishing Jimmy and his family the best.
Right on
God Bless you Jimmy. My prayers are with you.
Thank u for your service Brett, coolest officer ever! Praying for u jimmy that you beat your battle ❤️
Jimmy is the real MVP for traveling that far!!!!
Get well soon Jimmy! Pawn shop treasure hunts are some of the best fun!
I Always love shopping at pawnshops for classic milsurps! Like that collection of 1903's❤and a couple of 1917's❤
For me, that S&W m10 is the ticket!!!!!!!!!!!
While you were panning the S&W case, I thought I saw a S&W 39 on the bottom shelf.
If so, I would have been checking that out hard!!!!!!!!!!!
That Model 10 w/box is a good deal. Good luck Jimmy!
Praying for your healing and recovery Jimmy. Shout out to all the men and women who fought the good fight for us enjoy the freedom we have.
Shoutout to Jimmy🙏🏼 thoughts and prayers🙏🏼for him and family! My dad’s name is Jimmy and he was diagnosed with stage 4 around his larynx. But with a higher power he is in remission and still clear five years later. He lost his ability to talk cuz they removed his larynx but he kept his life!
They were both good deals , the wrangler was a great price. But I'd go with the smith model 10 snub nose, it was a decent price, looked to be in great shape and came with the box . Love the pawn shop challenges, sadly I don't have any near me
Prayers for Jimmy. 🙏
Cool vid... sending good vibes Jimmy's way. Hang in there bro!!!!
Prayers for Jimmy. My vote is Smith. I paid almost twice as much for my model 10 no dash. You scored that one big time.
Nice
Im calling this a tie. Both are great deals. Prayers for Jimmy 😊
Well done Gentlemen! My vote goes to the S&W. But I'm partial to Smith & Wesson. So much so I impulse bought an SD40VE. Boy was that a giant mistake! Traded it off with a quickness! Prayers for Mr. Jimmy and his buds!!
That mosin with the rubber butt plate was still there today ! 😂 what an awesome place
Open carrying a Desert Eagle is hilarious
Hands down the Snubby ! Airweights are easy to find . But a model 10 snubby not so much. Prayers for Jimmy.
Thanks
Nothing wrong with the Wrangler, I have several of them. I’m loving the Smith you got a great deal on it for sure and it is certainly old school. So I have to vote for the Model 10. Great video, prayers for Jimmy.
Thanks 👍
Prayers for Jimmy! This was a really good show
Thanks
Gotta give it to Brett and that cowboy action “extra point for the old school holster “
For Jimmy- sending you prayers and positive energy to help you through your difficult time. God loves you and he will get you through whatever you’re going through. Sending lots of Love to you and your family. -Semper Fi. 🇺🇸💪❤️
Wrangler 100%. Prayers to you Jimmy
Ruger is nice! but the 10 takes it! Good luck to Jimmy getting better soon!
Good thoughts and prayers for Jimmy,,,great score on that model 10....nice video overall,,Thanks!
Thanks 👍
Can’t beat the price on the Wrangler 🏆 and Prayers for Jimmy!
Dude model 10 that's my first and only off-duty so good I got a second one before I retire.
I live in New York. Just watching this video is probably a felony 😂😂. Man I need to get out. Great video. I couldn't imagine. 🇺🇸
eh, Im not really into the old school stuff but still interesting to see whats currently in stock @ them shops and the prices. To Jimmy: God bless you, I hope your health improves. Stay strong!! 😎👍🏻
The level of engagement with the camera without jump cuts has got me thinking you must be a robot. 😂 Excellent video series, I really enjoy these. Keep it up! 👍🏻❤️🇺🇸
Thanks! 👍
You reminded me of Donald Sutherland in Kelly's Heros, when you had the helmet on.
I thought i was the only that would think that LOL
@@BugsyNY he just needs a cigar hanging off his lip.
Best of luck for Jimmy! Prayers for you man!
Go Jimmy keep your powder dry buddy!
In a rare instance, I think you both got smoking deals on guns I would buy.
TIE!!!
Get a set of grips for that Wrangler.
The rosewood looks great, but any wood grips look better than those plastic panels.
I would keep that mdl 10 stock, for an old timey look and feel.
DON'T MESS WITH JIMMY!
Thoughts and prayers with ya Jimmy, God bless.
Hang tough, Jimmy. Loved touring those east coast shops with you guys. Would've loved it if you could've shared what some of the "not in the budget" handled firearms were priced at (like the Thompson). I was really leaning toward the S&W Model 10, but watching Brett break leather and make those hits might've catapulted him over the top.
Awesome vid. Thoughts and prayers to Jimmie too .... Absolutely Love the "Barnaby Jones Special" .38 snub nose. Those Ruger Wranglers are great little guns too. I have several at the moment including their "Super Wrangler" which has 2 cylinders reg. LR & WSM. Plus it has fully adjustable target sights. Just got one of Rugers LC carbines in 45ACP a few weeks back. Absolutely Love it. I knew working for them would be eating away my paycheck 😆😂🤣
Jimmy - saying a prayer for you and sending get well wishes your way. The S&W wins the challenge because it is significantly older than the Ruger.
and its also a gun designed to be carried by detectives so I think that makes it a lot cooler too lol
Got to vote for the old school cool Smith & Wesson prayers go out to Jimmy
Dope video💯 you definitely pay attention and listen to your viewers! Prayers are up for Jimmy..
Best wishes to Jimmy from across the pond.
I've lived in Charlotte all my life and I know beltway and shooters very well. Both are great places to buy. I remember years ago I took my middle daughter to shooters. She was 12 and got the fire three different handguns and I rented an MP5 and let her shoot that also. With a small amount of instruction she was able to squeeze off 3 to 5 on the target. That was over 20 years ago. I have a feeling that I did this today and my daughter told her friends she got to shoot a machine gun I'd have child services at my house. Pretty sad.
God bless Jimmy. Stay strong.
Prayers for Jimmy, God bless I’ll have to go with the Smith&wesson.
I swear, until I saw the name on the building, I thought you were saying "Let There Pee." 🤣I was so confused.....🤣
This is my favorite series that u guys do I find it so interesting! Thank you!!
Glad you enjoy it!
8:59 lmao those 3 tan 1911,s I’ve got one of them 😂
Old school blue smiths are hard to beat, the model 10 wins for me!
Collecting guys, is definitely addictive....have to constantly remind my self, I have enough guns, i cant afford it right now, i already have one like it, no more room in the gun safe..etc. plus and oldie, but a goodie, the wife will lose it, if i buy another gun
Brett swayed me with his accuracy on the draw. I enjoyed seeing the S&W also. Brett wins my vote.
Nice
Jimmy get well, God bless you Greetings from England
Voting for Brett. His Wrangler was Old School Cool. His technique near the end of the video had me thinking that boy was born in Tombstone. 😊
Well I really appreciate that, lol
Nice finds. Prayers for Jimmy.
Prayers for Jimmy! Great picks from the pawn shop.
That is the best deal I have ever seen on an AR-10. Wow!
Very cool video. Some nice gun stores.
Hang in there Jimmy!
I’m voting for Brett this time.
Brett wins, he ran that wrangler like a boss, you handled the 38 on a massive frame ok, but he smoked it. Great deal for both enjoy those old school cool wheel guns!
Remember bk in the day when we had gun shops in UK that had real hand guns a mix of cool stuff 👍
Brett is the clear winner, from the cowboy draw to the best price! Of course I am a Ruger lover! Ha ha
Bro just casually goes full cowboy at the end like wtf that was ridiculous how? 😂
He is a true pro haha
Cocking the hammer with the gun still in the holster on a single action like that is a good way to end up with a hole in your leg too lol... my uncle found this out the hard way in the early 60s when he was playing cowboy... luckily was only a .22 cal Ruger single six so his injuries were minor
Hey Jimmy! Sending you well wishes from Louisiana!
just wanted to watch this again, cause I need it. so good
Thanks i appreciate that
You should get a shoulder holster for the Model 10
I have the same Smith & Weston myself I love it
The Smith and wesson for me. Prayers for you Jimmy.
Definitely going to go with the Smith & Wesson model 10 snub if for no other reason than it was Joe Friday's gun on Dragnet. Such a beauty. Sending positive thoughts to Jimmy as well 🙌
I was shocked by the prices on the SKS’s ! I have three SKS’s purchased NIB back in the nineties. Two 1951 vintage Russian manufactured, and a Chinese version. They were all purchased for less than $200 a piece if my memory serves me right. I wish I had purchased a whole crate of them now ! 😄
S/O to Jimmy. Wishing you well.
The double barrel is what i would’ve went with but the 38 is taking the win today
Always enjoy these pawn shop videos... I personally like the old Smith & Wesson over the new Wrangler... Nice to see a shop that has a good supply of surplus firearms which seems to be not the norm like it used to be...
These places are almost never near me, but this place is anly 3 hrs away!
The Smith & Wesson is nicer but Brett wins just by not missing the target there at the end!
Shout out Jimmy. Brett would have won if he bought a ruger made in the 50's instead of the 2020's.
So when I was stationed in the south I met an older guy named Bill. He became a good friend and he would teach me and some of my shipmates about older guns. He eventually sold the shop to a navy guy who runs it now. But bill was a character. He introduced me to my first 2 stage trigger in a well worked on Mauser. Being from the north I miss the prices of guns from the south.
Shout out to Jimmy! Prayers for you
That VZ 52 at the first shop was pretty cool...
Wishing you Jimmy and your family the best sir!!!!
Thank you kindly
Hello, from the Adirondacks of New York.
Just wanted to give you a shout out. Love your videos especially the pawnshop Challenges..
Awesome thank you!
I would totally have bought that snubby Smith and Wesson, nice find! Also, I can't be certain but it sure looked like one of those cap and ball guns was loaded!
Smith and Wesson model 10 "snubby" wins in my opinion. Pretty rare around here! Said a prayer for Jimmy.
Both are great deals and great guns, but that Model 10 takes the cake. My man is gonna like that cerakote on that Wrangler a lot better after he gets it REAL nasty and then cleans it. I got one last year and I've been shooting the snot out of it.
Love the local pawn shop videos. I need to get out to Guns & Roses
They have the best hugs there!!!! Jimmy Hubbard
@@royhubbard9075 Jimmy I wish you the very best for a healthy life sir.
Prayers for Jimmy!
Thanks
Jimmy you have got this dude keep on kicking and doing your thing
Good luck Jimmy. I'm sure it was a great trip.
Thanks 👍
The Mossberg bullpup was used by stan swytech in miami vice in a number of episodes.
Get well Jimmy!!!
Now trying plan a route from Hickory to go to all these in one day! Any other I should go to?
So burned out on the 22 Rugers. I have 2 that are mine and 2 that belong to a friend, who is in another country, in the safe right now. Great for plinking, but not really a find. They are all over the place.
If you've never been to MidSouth Guns in Wagram, NC- you need to make the trip.
Got to go with the S&W. Love my classic revolvers!
