      Both my wife and I love this bike, and if you are planning on joining any virtual classes/rides, where you need to pair cadence and watts, I would go with this over the Joroto. I would say that the longer crank arms on the Joroto XM16 are better for taller riders though. Actually, your husband might be better suited for the Schwinn IC4 at 6'4".

    Hey, I just unpacked mine and gave it try. I really love it but there is a slight rubbing sound (intermittently) when I pedal. Not sure if it comes from the wheel or if it’s from the box where the belt is. Could it be the belt? The sound definitely comes from the right side. It’s not a huge sound but I still hear it every 1 or 2 seconds.
    Do you also have this slight noise? Anything I could do or check?

    • @preludedriven
      @preludedriven  3 роки тому

      Oh bummer! No, I do not have any noise on mine, but I have experienced the same thing on a different bike. On my other bike, a quick adjustment to the mounting of the belt guard completely solved my issue! Hope this helps!

      Hi, new bike is connecting with app. But I have to switch on not only bluetooth but also GPS localization on my phone. don't know why, but it works ;) The weird sound of belt in spinning wheel is the same unfortunately.

      Hello, sorry it didn't meet expectations. Those issues definitely sound like a defective unit, as mine has and is still 100% silent and bluetooth pairs faster than any of the bikes I own. I did hear about some not including heart rate monitors as well, which is odd. Did you get a new, different spin bike?

      Sorry, I just saw your reply. If you are handy, you should try removing the plastic belt cover. On a couple of different brand bikes I've owned, there was a tiny bit of a plastic burr that was rubbing the side of the belt. A quick sanding with a nail file fixed the noise completely :)
