20% in the US. Predominantly because sports card stores magic stores all of a sudden everybody loves Pokemon that hasn't ordered it in the past. But they spend Millions with distro so distro is going to make them happy. That's why our normal stores here that carry Pokemon are getting shafted
The two largest distributors in the US don't allow crossover between branding sku’s like that for example NDPK (Pokemon products) allocation amount wont effect KNMO products they specificly do that to prevent a large sports store grabbing all the allocation product. That's only preorders though they are free to order none allocated products and build their numbers like anyone
@ejeverett4322 the two largest distributors in the US are not going to tell a local game store they cannot order Pokemon just because they don't order every set. All my sports card stores in this area do carry pokemon. But they're not a play Pokemon store. And they're not a Pokemon store exclusively. Distro is not going to refuse an order if they want to place one. Most sports card stores spend Millions more than your average Pokemon store.
I believe in the beginning this set will be difficult to find then the hype will die down and stock will go up while the prices go down and then eventually we will all suddenly want it again when we realize it will almost be impossible to get soon, just like with 151
@ Pokémon has been printing less and less product. It’s like when it was Covid. Distributors want their money quickly and quietly. If they send the Pokémon cards to Walmart and target and other big box stores, they will get their money faster because it’s a big company that can pay right away. Also target and Walmart don’t care about penalties since they are such a big company. They will release product days before it’s released. I know all of this because I used to work for the company that put out the cards and I would get emails of what is allocated to what store and when it gets put out
Here in the Netherlands i already have one order that got completely cancelled. The shop will only receive 10%, out of 1800 orders... I dearly hope my other order of ETB's will stay where it is, as all the big stores are sold out already when it comes to pre-orders. I did however pre-order some of the supriseboxes and booster bundles at bigger stores, just in case.
All I'm hearing is basically I'm not going to find absolutely nothing in the wild on release day. Unless I suc the resellers 🐔 and pay 3 times asking price, or having to wait months for any morsel of stock. Especially in my area.🤣😡
Kind of hard too when you get your “final allocation” numbers (the ones you’re guaranteed) and the open a few preorders and then your distributor deletes your finalized allocation with no notice. 😅😅😅 yeah this is US distributors, Southern Hobby to be specific. They did nothing to try and help us out or make good on their error.
I dont think so, they already printing other sets like Traveling Companions and Team Rocket. The Company already gave the Information they will printing way less then before in the S&V area. I would reconsider this Video.
Your correct if you're lucky enough to travel around your area it will be on shelves. I seen surging all over the place for $125 for a week. Don't fomo
I've managed to order every Prismatic product (making up 254 booster packs so far) except for Booster Bundles. I hope to eventually meet my goal of 432 booster packs. So far I have bought all at MSRP/RRP or a little cheaper, just haven't managed to order any bundles...
@@sam-lj6qp I understand your frustration, but at least I'm not one of those people/scalpers who re-sell for a profit. I even plan on giving away promo cards I will have multiple duplicates of.
Thanks for the shoutout! We are getting roughly around 60% of our ETBs and mini tins but it will vary for store-to-store in the UK. Will be a much lower percentage if the store tried to order silly amounts like 500 ETBs for example. It's going to be a lot worse for booster bundles. Thankfully they don't release til March and we have SV9 that same month to look forward to.
I was able to pre-order 10 ETBs at 67.95 CDN each at one of 🇨🇦 largest LCS (401 Games). They must have put up about 700 units and was sold out in ~35 minutes. Their pre-order system is in waves (increasing the price slightly in the past, not sure about this set) while still keeping a chunk for release date and their 2 brick N mortar locations. They even price match too.

That's why i ordered small from many different shops. We've seen the signs with Surging Sparks
Yeah, this is what I did with Prismatic Evolutions. I didn't just shop at one place/website, I use multiple.
I believe in the beginning this set will be difficult to find then the hype will die down and stock will go up while the prices go down and then eventually we will all suddenly want it again when we realize it will almost be impossible to get soon, just like with 151
It will be every place that sells Pokémon. But they won't have enough to supply every day 😮
@scottrulka6587 yeah I'm hoping to find enough for me and my kids, we all love opening new sets, I preorded a good amount but hope to find more later
They are only sending them to big box stores: harder for smaller store to get it
Why not they actually sell it the other smaller stores raise price and have less foot traffic 🤔
@ distributors don’t care. Pokémon doesn’t care. They want their product sold quickly.!
Yea no way you know this. No one knows this

I played safe and did preorders with my lgs, best buy, gamestop, and the pokemon center
Smart
My card shop let me pre order 1 etb and booster bundle for retail, best 70$ ill spend all year!

Twilight Masquerade and Surging Sparks are out of stock at all distros and this is not what we need right now.

Eterna cards in the UK has had their allocations back and they are only getting 3% of what they ordered and back orders aren’t available.
I opened two boxes of terastial festival yesterday. Most beautiful, sparkling cards I’ve ever seen. Good hits too. Just not Umbreon
I have a feeling this set will be printed like crown zenith, over the next two years.

I’m so glad I don’t super care for the eeveeloutions. Feel like I’m dodging chaos here
In the Netherlands some shops just got 5%... 1 big mess. I hope that pokemon is not screwing over there Collectors.
I always do the opposite of what wossy says and 90% of time I turn a profit
Very good man
This set is gonna be printed out the whazoo like 151 was
151 prices are up tho?
@theodensa2601 cuz they have stopped printing 151 now cuz they're gonna be printing this new collection set
Your correct if you're lucky enough to travel around your area it will be on shelves. I seen surging all over the place for $125 for a week. Don't fomo
People forget how available 151 was for a good bit of time at or often below msrp.
They are definitely giving more to big box stores. This is causing LGS’s to sell at “Market Price” which sucks
Big box stores just have more people buying. Why not give them the Lion share 😏

I'm about the same on my preorders but I missed out on the bundles and pouch collections so far, hoping for better luck on release
Don’t worry about all the poor kids with their Xmas money that can’t find any to buy cause all these lonely adults have bought it all up. :(

I have 2 PC etbs but I wish I was able to get two more, so me, and my son could open two and keep two.
Don’t open the PC ones, they are serious gold dust.
I got 2 etbs 4 mystery boxes so far
My LGS ordered 40 etbs and is getting 11😢😢😢
It’s short printed like every TCG these days that’s all it really is that simple no need to over complicate it
In the short term. No set in the last 5 years has been short printed in it's lifecycle
