Wow, I just checked and this came out the same year as Pool of Radiance! To be fair this seems to have been made by one person and it has a nice sense of humor. I never played this one, but I got pretty decent at Moraff's World. I bought the shareware floppy in a clear plastic bag hung on a carousel. I remember my mom watching me play for a couple of minutes and asking me ". . . what do you get out of this?"
Interesting how all the important buildings need to be accessed by climbing a rope. Wonder if there's some kind of in-universe reason for that architectural quirk?
that music!!
Man, just getting a PC to do anything those days was an achievement. Like so many new toys it was hard to balance that out with user experience!
What a great find! Classy looking game.
Great playing game, yes. Classy looking... I'll leave that up to you!

Oh mom.
I have heard of Pool of Radiance before, and will most probably play it sometime in the future!
Moraff's Revenge! I played so much of this with my dad on an 8088 like 35 years ago. Lol!
So long ago!
These are some revolutionary fourth dimensional silhouette graphics but it is too ahead of it's time.
It is an interesting concept.

Maybe it is because you are exploring old ruins that might be buried?
@@msdosgamereviews So the maze of streets you start in is actually underneath the town proper? That would make a sort of sense.
