Interview July 2022 with Karen Morgan of Dublinlive.ie done at the Irish Rock & Roll Museum Experience, Mojo's Records (the owner and I have become friends...so this was a bit of silliness we played out on me asking for free albums) and along the pathway of Temple Bar (that was just a brief moment of a video but a big crowd was being created and we needed to leave before it got out of hand. That often happens). Just finishing up my humanitarian work with the Ukrainian refugees along the Romanian border, I found myself in Italy and Ireland. Odd that the big transformation people many find "Bono" is a pair of glasses. There's more to each and every story, but thank you for watching and feel free to share if you'd like.

1979? U2 weren't known out of Ireland in 1979, completely unknown in the USA,…. although, ok, a bit known in England in late 1979. U2's first gig in the USA was December 1980. It's doubtful anyone recognized you as resembling Bono till sometime in 1981 at the very earliest,… which was during the Boy and October tours.
First heard it in 1979 in 8th grade while I was living in Los Angeles. There was a huge punk scene and U2 kind of started out that way.
