That’s a HUGE step in your family’s life, and I wish you all the best! I don’t think I have the courage to do a move like that. Breaks my heart you guys had to sell some kits (hopefully not some of those amazing resin kits!), but sacrifices always have to be made for things of this nature. Shows how much you guys are amazing parents to move across the world for the well being of your daughter. I look forward to future videos when you guys get settled. Take your time and don’t worry, we’ll be here when you guys are ready. :)

As a father of 2 boys, I totally get it. I have such a huge backlog of gunpla that I don’t know when I’ll get the time to tackle it, due to kids. We love Vancouver, so looking forward to seeing some cafes and what not that you end discovering. :)

Woohoo, so excited for your family's move to Vancouver! It's a beautiful , multicultural city with amazing weather. We also have a small but really nice community of gunpla builders (Vanpla) and miniature model painters. I'll really miss your Korean-Gunpla Vlogs but can't wait to see what you and Cookie start to do in this city! :)

All the best!!! Definitely not an easy decision to make. I too have cut down & sold lots of my collections since the birth of my Son. But nothing is more wonderful than seeing him grow up. Priorities really do change when you have a kid.

I like your positive view on it -- I agree! There's a lot of things I felt could've been done better with our old set up and hoping to apply it to the new one.

Wow I wasn't expecting such news! I hope you and your family have a wonderful experience in Canada which is where I live. We're lucky to have a decent amount of gunpla stores in this country but probably nothing compared to what you're used to, we don't even have premium bandai. I do recomend you check out Side 6 modeling club tho!

@@frostedsnow children are adaptable, but definitely keep up with teaching her about her culture and heritage, it's remarkable how much we loose when we are first generation/ 2nd generation immigrants can affect your cultural identity

Im curious as to how you you brought your built kits with your move. This has always been my fear when moving that something might break. Anyway goodluck on your next adventure and hoping for more building/painting tips!
I hope the move goes well. Once y’all get settled it would be cool if you could do some fan meet ups. I’m not sure if you have Patreon, but if so, I would totally pay for some 1:1 time for guidance on sanding, painting, etc. Good luck, and though I’m sure this is difficult, I think y’all are being great and loving parents!

All the best to your family. This will be quite the change for you. I hope you have the chance to visit Niagara Falls even though It's on the other side of Canada. I live right across the border from Niagara Falls in the US. You'll probably have more difficulty getting gunpla in North America but you'll have an easier time with Warhammer stuff.
I've visited when I was young, but not much memory of it! Already found a warhammer shop in our neighborhood haha

I just recently moved back from Hong Kong to LA too. So i guess I can relate to how big a step it is for you. In terms of kits building, everything's more expensive here, and alot of the usual tools ar harder to find, so I actually look forward to you sharing where to buy and how to do things without all the resources in asia, lol.
it's gonna be hard without all the goodies!
@@frostedsnow i started looking into nail polish tools for sanding and stuff. but more specific modeling tools ar hard to find, especially the small brand ones.
I can't even find gaianote paints in Canada. So backward here....

I wonder if it'll be easier or harder to get paints and hobby kits and equipment in Canada, I hear it's hard there because almost nothing is produced there.
Trinity Hobby is where I get paint sometimes. Especially enamel.

There's a lot factors depending on the reason you want (work, studies, permamently moving), but Canada is actually one of the biggest countries in the world despite being scarecely populated, so the government always sees young, educated people, ideally with kids, as a big plus.
